Why Outrage about Jewish Prayer?

by Tovah Lazaroff

The United States, European Union, United Nations, France, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and others condemned the visit by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to the Temple Mount.

The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken led widespread criticism of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir for declaring that Jewish prayer is allowed atop the Temple Mount. US State Department Deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel said that any “unilateral actions like this that jeopardize the status quo are unacceptable.”

Blinken said that the visit “demonstrated blatant disregard for the (ugly) historic status quo with respect to the holy sites in Jerusalem” (respect for the Jewish holiest site, including the Temple Mount, is irrelevant to ‘THEM’).

‘THEY’ also worry that the visit could harm efforts for a hostage deal (trying to blame Israel for Hamas’ refusal to negotiate a hostage release deal).

Qatar’s Foreign Minister condemned Ben-Gvir’s actions, calling it a “provocative act” and a “flagrant violation of international law” (which law?).

The Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry warned of the consequences of such actions, which would provoke millions of Muslims around the world (it never takes much to 'provoke' them). “The Ministry stressed the importance of respecting religious sanctities,” it said (but not Jewish religious rights?).

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’s deputy spokesperson Farhan Haq said, “This behaviour is unhelpful and it is unduly provocative” (regardless of what Israel does, it is always ‘provocative’).

The European Union’s foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, similarly issued a condemnation.

Jordan, whose Hashemite Kingdom has a special custodial relationship to the site, called for international protection for the Palestinian people as it affirmed that the site was reserved exclusively for Muslim worship.

The status quo agreement in place since 1967 permits Jews to visit the site, but not pray there.

Ben-Gvir visited al-Aqsa Mosque compound on the Temple Mount and said that he had the right to authorize Jewish prayer at that site, which is the holiest in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam. (It was not a holy site of Islam for quite a while)

Numbers do not Lie

The average combatant-to-civilian death ratio in urban warfare is 1:9. -- (40,000 – 17,000) / 17,000 = 1.35 -- Even if we believe the Hamas number of people killed during this war, this is still the lowest combatant-to-civilian death ratio during a war in an urban area.

17,000 Terrorists Killed in Gaza

Israel Defense Forces troops have killed more than 17,000 terrorists in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war against Hamas on Oct. 7. Two months prior Netanyahu told a US podcast, “We’re facing 35,000 Hamas terrorists. We’ve killed already about 14,000, wounded many others.”

Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak

Any political 'status quo' established under duress is the subject to review and change. Nobody is answering a simple question: "Why Jews are not allowed to pray on the Jew’s holiest site, the Temple Mount - site of the Jewish Temple, where Abraham had built the altar on which to sacrifice his son Isaac?" The Al-Aqsa Mosque compound only became special to Islam after modern Israel was established in 1948. It is desecrating the holiest Jewish site and is used to inflame anti-Israel propaganda among fake Palestinians and Jew-haters world-wide.

Lebanese Night Sky Lights Up

After Hezbollah weapons depot was hit by IDF strike, a large blast with smaller fiery pieces thrown into the sky before falling down. A secondary blast was evident by the flashy ignition of rockets stored at the munitions dump firing into the air. These explosions occurred in an apparent civilian area as evidenced by the light-up housing nearby. (The weapons depot was in the civilian area.)

Israel Accepted a ‘Bridging Proposal’

The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that Israel has accepted a proposal to bridge differences holding p a cease-fire and hostage release in Gaza, and he called on Hamas to do the same. (Now 'THEY' can't blame Netanyahu and Israel if the deal fails.)

Hamas Rejected ‘Final Offer’

Despite US claims that “final” hostage release and ceasefire deal talks in Doha, Qatar “look positive,” the Hamas terrorist organization rejected the latest proposal agreed upon by Israel with Qatari, Egyptian and US mediators. Hamas official, Sami Abu Zahari, said it bluntly (about Biden's optimism) “that we are close to a ceasefire agreement is an illusion.” Of the 115 hostages still held by the terror group, intelligence officials have quietly estimated that just 33 remain alive. Hamas has consistently rejected every deal on the table since the initial hostage release and suspension of hostilities last November. (But 'THEY', the enemies of the Jewish state and fake friends, have been consistently blaming Israel and Netanyahu for the deal failure!)

‘Uncommitted’ US Voters are Enemies of Israel

Top Democrats have spent weeks meeting with “uncommitted” voters and their allies. The “uncommitted” movement has been sparked by dissatisfaction with the way President Joe Biden-Harris administration’s handling the Israel-Hamas war. The meeting between Harris and the activists was part of an effort to respond to criticism in key swing states like Michigan, which has a significant Arab American population. The activists want Harris to endorse an arms embargo to Israel and a permanent ceasefire. (The US Arab voters care about saving Hamas only. The life of the Jewish hostages and atrocities committed by Hamas and by the ‘innocent’ population of Gaza are irrelevant to them. Actually, they also want Israel gone and Jews dead.)

Israel Responded to European Bigots

The Israeli defense ministry’s Civil Administration, the governing authority in the roughly 60% of Judea and Samaria under full Israeli control, finalized the municipal boundaries for the new town of Nahal Heletz, which will be built as part of the Gush Etzion bloc south of the capital. The Israeli government voted to green light the establishment of five new recognized towns in Judea and Samaria in late June, in response to European states recognizing unilateral Palestinian statehood.

Saudi Crown Prince Fears Assassination

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reportedly told visiting US lawmakers that he fears being assassinated over his pursuit of normalization with Israel. Bin Salman, commonly referred to as MBS, at least once referenced the assassination of Egyptian president Anwar Sadat, who was shot dead by Islamist terrorists in 1981, two years after he signed a peace agreement with Israel. (Hate for the infidel Jewish state runs deep in the Islamic world!)

Biden's Weapons Sales Game

- The US approved $20 billion in weapons sales to Israel. The advance includes a myriad of weapons such as fighter jets and equipment worth nearly $19 billion, tank cartridges valued at $774 million, explosive mortar cartridges valued at over $60 million and army vehicles worth $583 million. The $20 billion in military sales are not expected to be delivered to Israel soon. (Public relations – makes it look like the “Biden” administration supports Israel, while not supplying Israel with weapons it needs.)

- The Biden administration approved two massive arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to help them defend against Iran. The new sales include $3 billion for Patriot missiles for Saudi Arabia specifically designed to protect itself from rocket attacks by the Houthis, and $2.2 billion for high-altitude missile defense for the UAE. Early in his administration Biden had pledged to cut off or cut back weapons sales to both Saudi Arabia and the UAE because of their actions in Yemen.

Israel to Manufacture Own Aircraft Bombs

Israel will soon begin to manufacture heavy bombs for the air force to overcome supply delays and establish independence in weapons development. One of the most significant lessons Israel has drawn from the war is that it must manufacture and develop critical munitions for the IDF by itself. Until now, Israel purchased many of its munitions from foreign countries, with emphasis on the United States. (US ‘aid’ gets spent in the US to subsidy US defense companies. It allows the US to control how Israel uses the weapons. Golden handcuffs.)

Released Terrorist Back in 'Business'

A Jewish Israeli man was shot and seriously wounded in Qalqilya in western Samaria by Hamas terrorist Tariq Daoud, 18, who was released in the November hostage deal. Two PA Arabs were also wounded in the attack, and the terrorist was killed by Israeli forces. According to Hamas, he was a “field commander” in the terrorist group’s military wing.

Quote of the Week:

"I respect the US position and thank them for their support of Israel against regional threats, but I expect them to respect Israeli democracy. Just as the US would reject international pressure to reach a surrender agreement with Al Qaeda, Israel will not yield to external pressure that compromises its security. A surrender agreement with Sinwar, abandoning most hostages to death and releasing mass murderers, is bad for Israel, and we will oppose it with all our strength." - Bezalel Smotrich, Israel Finance Minister.

From the River to the Sea - Jewish Sovereignty!

by Diane Bederman

Israel is the most hated country in a world of 195 countries. Think about that. If we are going to be hated, let’s at least be hated in our entire inherited and promised land.

The entire world shared their views on the Jews and Israel after October 7.

We are living through times where too many stand with the Barbarians. Why do people CHOOSE to stand with evil? For surely that is what is happening when western countries stand with Muslim countries against Israel’s right to exist, and when US college students demonstrate for Hamas.

We must begin with the knowledge that billions of people hate us for the crime of being Jewish. Far too many countries want to see the demise of Israel – including Western countries like Spain, Norway and Ireland.

Nothing Israel does will appease the Jew haters. Israel must stop appeasing and take the most important step in her recent history. Declare sovereignty over the land of Israel – the God-given land and the land over which the Jews have fought for millennia.

Why does Israel try to placate the west, especially America and of course the UN? Why does Israel choose to appease those who want her destruction? If Israel is going to appease then at least appease them from the entire country: from the river to the sea: Israeli sovereignty.

On April 19, 1920, the San Remo Conference took place and laid the political foundation for the creation of the 22 Arab League States and the one and only Jewish State of Israel. Before the San Remo Conference there did not exist a single Arab independent nation state.

Now is the time to take over all of Eretz Yisrael to honour our ancestors who died rebuilding Israel, and for our descendants – to protect and defend them; for there is no guarantee that the Jews in the Diaspora will be safe. It is time to declare:

FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA - JEWISH SOVEREIGNTY

We mustn’t flinch from the hatred that accompanies and fills the lives of hundreds of thousands of Arabs, who live around us and are waiting for the moment when their hands may claim our blood. That is the choice of our lives - to be willing and armed, strong and unyielding.
