“Strange Bedfellows” is not just a 1964 film. How to explain the infatuation and alliance of progressivism with Islamic fundamentalists who kill Jews and Christians, want to replace secularism with sharia, subjugate women and cut off the heads of those who draw a harmless cartoon?
“Jihad Woke”. This is what Abe Greenwald in the monthly Commentary calls the new "bedfellows" and the cultural cancer that is devastating Western universities in its third stage. It is the alliance of all extremisms (sexual, racial, ecological, cultural) and Islamists.
Just look at the minute of silence observed at the UN for the Iranian Raisi. Do they do this for all deceased heads of state? No!
There are 109 verses in the Quran that command violence, often explicit violence, by Muslims against non-Muslims. But no matter what depths of depravity radical Islam reaches, it remains fenced in by the impregnable force field of “Islamophobia,” a major sin of the woke catechism and zealously applied by the left.
We are sliding towards the most abject and nihilistic radicalism with virtually no reaction. Now there are beginning to be signs that changes are afoot in many US universities disgusted by the wokery. But they are not taking place at the same pace or everywhere.
Those who today consider themselves so free that they can afford to ignore this rampant madness will be the slaves of tomorrow. Or worse, their neck will be under the butcher's knife.

Hamas Hates Peace - Targeted 'Peaceniks'
Ayelet Levy-Shachar, the mother of Naama Levy, said her daughter had participated in Hands of Peace, an initiative promoting dialogue between young Palestinians and Israelis. “She always had a great passion for bridging between people and communities and for speaking up, hearing the other side,” she said. According to the report, "The program brought Israeli, Palestinian, and American teens together in a bid to promote dialogue and empower them to become 'agents of change' in the bitter and long-lasting conflict."
Egypt Halted the UN Aid Deliveries into Rafah
Egypt halted UN aid deliveries into the southern city of Rafah after the Israeli military took control of the Gazan side of the Egypt-Gaza border. Egyptian president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi agreed to let the aid flow through Israel’s Kerem Shalom crossing near the Egyptian border, after call from Biden. (Why did it take so long to pressure Egypt? Why did Biden make the call only after the ICJ ruling?)
The First Step toward Re-unification of Judea
A bill defining a group of settlements in the southernmost region of Judea as part of Israel’s Negev region passes a preliminary reading 52-37 in the Knesset plenum. “There is no reason for communities to be discriminated against just because it is in Judea and Samaria,” said MK Limor Son Har-Melech.
There are More Hamas Terrorists to Eliminate
The US intelligence estimates that only 30-35% of Hamas terrorists have been eliminated since the outbreak of the war. Hamas is recruiting thousands of new terrorists during the war. Some 65% of the tunnels in the Gaza Strip remain intact. (Many of them are in Rafah.)
Pentagon Press Secretary Patrick S. Ryder admitted that the chances that the aid delivered through the recently constructed pier off the coast of Gaza actually reached the residents of Gaza are low. Nearly 70% of Gaza aid from US-built pier was stolen. None of the food and supplies that have entered the Gaza Strip came through a US-built temporary pier in its first five days of operation. After the pier came under attack by terrorists, it was repaired in the Israeli port of Ashdod, and the Biden administration conducted backchannel talks with Hamas urging it not to attack the pier. Politicians and the media keep lying about Israel causing a “humanitarian crisis” when indeed the only aid to Gaza is coming through Israel because Egypt blocked its crossing into Rafah. Egypt isn’t getting blamed for ‘starving’ Gazans, Israel is. In reality, there’s plenty of food in Gaza. After building its very own shiny delivery system into Gaza, the Biden administration can’t actually deliver the aid because it’s being stolen. (The estimated cost of the pier is $320 million to US taxpayers! The pier has already been attacked several times by Hamas terrorists, first with mortar fire and then with explosive suicide drones.)
Israel has Plans for Hezbollah
The Israeli government is determined to restore the security on the border with Lebanon and create the conditions that will allow displaced citizens (70,000+) to return to the north. “We have detailed, important and even surprising plans,” the Premier Minister told IDF troops. The IDF has already eliminated “hundreds” of Hezbollah operatives in Southern Lebanon since the Iranian-backed terrorist group joined the war against the Jewish state in support of Hamas.
Rocket Launchers and Missiles Hidden in a Gaza Mosque
Israeli soldiers fighting Hamas efforts to regroup in the northern Gaza area of Jabalya discovered missiles and rocket launchers hidden inside a mosque. Raids in other areas of Jabalya turned up weapons, explosives, military equipment such as vests, and intelligence material.
Why is Biden Against Condemning Iran?
A European diplomat says Washington is at odds with London, Paris and Berlin on confronting Tehran at the UN nuclear watchdog, warns that Islamic Republic has ‘no real goodwill’ to cooperate. It is 18 months since the International Atomic Energy Agency’s 35-nation Board of Governors last passed a resolution against Iran. Iran still has not explained the traces, and the number of other problems. The United States, however, has not wanted to seek another resolution against Iran at recent IAEA board meetings. Officials often cite the US presidential election as a reason for the Biden administration’s reluctance. (Is it appeasement of Muslim voters?)
UNRWA School was a Terrorists Nest
The Israeli Air Force carried out a precise strike on a compound located inside an UNRWA school in the Nuseirat area of Gaza where Hamas terrorists - including an anti-tank missile operative and a Nukhba terrorist - were operating. The compound that was struck also contained weapons, including mortars and explosives, as evidenced by the numerous secondary explosions after the air strike.

Irrelevant Order of Antisemitic Court

Following the ICJ's ruling, forcing Israel to halt its operations against Hamas in Rafah, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said: "The irrelevant order of the antisemitic court in The Hague should have only one answer: the occupation of Rafah, the increase of military pressure and the complete destruction of Hamas - until the complete victory in the war is achieved."
Strategic affairs Minister, Ron Dermer, said, "That Jews are treated differently is not a new story but a more than 2,000-year-old story that is based on ancient hatred. Every year, the Human Rights Council passes more resolutions against Israel than all the other countries in the world combined."
"What the ICJ prosecutor has done will fuel the fires of antisemitism, which is raging across the world, because people will assume the charges carry weight. But the charges are totally false and the prosecutor didn’t even bother to learn the facts," Dermer stated.
Former Israeli government spokesperson Eylon Levy tweeted: "Hamas is holding 125 hostages, presumably many in Rafah. The ICJ has just told Israel it’s not allowed to try to save them and must relinquish military leverage. This is not justice. This is a travesty of justice."
The British government has criticized the International Court of Justice for ordering Israel to immediately halt its military assault on the southern Gaza city of Rafah. "The reason there isn’t a pause in the fighting is because Hamas turned down a very generous hostage deal from Israel," a UK foreign ministry spokesperson said. (The Biden administration is silent!)
Note - Legal Opinion: the ruling on Rafah merely obligates Israel not to engage in actions that violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention, not to desist from all military operations in the city.
Ambiguity of the ICJ’s Decision - Israeli troops engaged in clashes with Palestinian terrorists across the Gaza Strip, including Rafah, a day after the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to halt operations in Gaza. Israeli officials said they consider the ICJ order to allow room for some operations in Rafah, rejecting interpretations that the court ruling required Israel halt the offensive altogether. “What they are asking us, is not to commit genocide in Rafah. We did not commit genocide and we will not commit genocide,” said Tzachi Hanegbi, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s national security adviser.
