Same Enemy - Why the Different ‘Clock’?

US and Israeli clocks on Iran tick at different tempos

Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint US Armed Forces, attributed the difference to the fact that the US is not exposed like Israel to a direct Iranian threat.  The two have different evaluations of incoming intelligence and reach different conclusions, he said. The general reported that he talks with Israel’s chief of staff every two weeks to share information and evaluations on Iran.

Israel’s Home Front Minister Avi Dichter took issue with opponents of an Israeli attack on Iran and said that Israel is facing its first real mortal danger. “Our enemies are building up their aggressive capabilities to confront us with strategic threats from Lebanon, the Gaza Strip and Syria while Iran is targeting our very existence. (In addition to targeting Iranian’s nuclear sites top government, religious and military leadership must be targeted, in order to assist Iranians to accomplish regime change. After all, isn’t what president Obama promotes everywhere - why not Iran?)

Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak

I have checked out the International Middle East Media Center (IMEMC) website recently. It claims that it is developed in collaboration between Palestinian and International journalists to provide ‘independent’ media coverage. In fact, it was created by the International Solidarity Movement. I noticed immediately that map of so-called Palestine includes all Israel! I couldn’t find reference to either historic documents, likes the League of Nations or UN resolutions, nor any historic evidence of the existence of the recently forged Palestinian ‘nation’. Obviously collaborating ‘Israel-loving’ international journalists do not care about such small matters!

Traitor Amongst Us - Peres’ Questionable Allegiance

President Shimon Peres is under attack for undercutting the elected government's stance on the Iranian threat. Besides stating a position that runs counter to the Prime Minister's, he has also accused Netanyahu and Defence Minister Ehud Barak of "terrible irresponsibility" in the Iranian matter. President Shimon Peres undermined Israel's aggressive position on the matter of Iran. MK Zevulun Orlev (The Jewish Home) criticized President Shimon Peres, following his remarks on Iran: “Peres hurt the government's ability to make an informed decision and bound its hands in protecting citizens. The Knesset should decide to forbid the President from addressing security and foreign issues that are under government authority.”

Egypt Violating Peace Treaty in Sinai

Israel is troubled by the entry of Egyptian tanks into the northern Sinai Peninsula without coordination with Israel, a violation of the terms of the 33-year-old peace treaty between the two countries, and has asked Egypt to withdraw them. Since there is still no sign of Egypt launching its promised major offensive against al-Qaeda-linked jihadi strongholds in Sinai, Cairo is finding it hard to explain the tanks’ unauthorised presence there and keeps on coming up with lame excuses. (Why would Egypt need tanks to fight terrorists armed with Kalashnikovs in Sinai?)

Obama Undermining Israel Security

The White House this week scrambled to reconnect with Jerusalem after the Obama administration realised Israel was seriously contemplating a military operation against Iran’s nuclear program this fall. Obama asked what it would take to hold Israel back before the Nov. 6 US presidential election. The answer: A solemn, binding US guarantee to strike Iran next spring - plus weapons upgrades. (But can Israel trust Obama, who has been continuously undermining Israel security? The US is ready to strike Iran with Israel. Why not now?)

Iran has Invited Israel Strike

A senior Iranian commander, Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the Revolutionary Guard's air force, said that a possible Israeli airstrike against his country's nuclear facilities is "welcome" because it would give Iran a reason to retaliate and "get rid of" the Jewish state "forever."

Does MDA Need Agreement with anti-Semitic Red Cross?

The Red Cross admitted that Magen David Adom (Red Magen David) emergency services promised not to officially serve residents in Judea and Samaria and instead to have regional councils officially administer rescue efforts. Magen David Adom (MDA) also agreed to remove its Jewish symbol from ambulances. (At the same time, the Red Cross still has not implemented new symbol, the Red Cristal, and operates under the old Red Cross symbol, even in Muslim and Buddhist countries! Anti-Semitism of the Red Cross was exposed during the WW2 and still prevails!)

It Must be Election Time

The White House is setting up a meeting between US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at the September opening of the next UN General Assembly, at which Netanyahu plans to call for Iran’s expulsion. Sources close to Obama admit that the US-Israeli dialogue on Iran has petered out and this is hurting the president’s campaign for re-election. Barack Obama’s quarrel with Binyamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak is becoming more intense and personal the closer Israel comes to attacking Iran’s nuclear program before the US Nov. 6 vote.

Another Clear Message from Egypt

Egypt's state news agency has reported that President Mohamed Morsi will visit Iran to attend the non-Aligned Movement meetings on August 30 on his way back from China. This visit will be the first such visit by an Egyptian head of state to Tehran since the Iranian revolution of 1979. Other Egyptian media reports have suggested Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood candidate who won the poll in June, might send his newly appointed deputy, Mahmoud Mekki, instead. The non-Aligned Movement is set to hand over the chairmanship to Iran in the Tehran meeting.

United Church is still anti-Semitic

The lack of recognition of Israel as a Jewish state in the United Church of Canada’s final resolution affirming a partial boycott of Israeli goods has raised the ire of Jewish and Christian critics. The church’s general council, meeting in Ottawa, gave final approval to a boycott of Israeli goods coming out of Judea and Samaria.

Jewish Contribution to the World

Sir Ludwig Guttmann (3 July 1899 - 18 March 1980) - was a German born British neurologist who established the Paralympic Games while living in England. The Jewish doctor, who had fled Nazi Germany just before the start of the Second World War, is considered to be one of the founding fathers of organized physical activities for people with a disability.

Iraq Helping Iran to Avoid Sanctions

US media report that a network of Iraqi financial institutions and oil smuggling operations provide Iran with a crucial flow of dollars to overcome the squeeze the Iranian economy is suffering as a result of  sanctions against its nuclear program. The network is made up of members of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s clique. It obtains for Iran goods that are in short supply and helps sell its oil overseas as Iraqi products. (So much for the first Arab democratic state - a trillion dollars wasted for nothing!)

World Preoccupied with Fake Palestine, but not Kurdistan

“The Kurds are the largest ethnic group in the world without an independent state,” said Dr. Sherkoh Abbas, President of the Kurdistan National Assembly of Syria. The Kurdish population totals an estimated 30 to 50 million people (25 to 35 more likely) in the Middle East alone. Following the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire after World War I, the Kurds were dispersed between Turkey (15+ million), Syria (3+ million Kurdish-speaking and 4-5 Arabic-speaking Kurds), Iran (8+ million) and Iraq (more than 6 million)

Obama Refuses to Drop 'Radical' Rabbi

The Obama campaign is refusing to sever ties with a rabbi, who has called for a boycott against Israeli products, has dined with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and was the first American rabbi to visit Tehran. Reform Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb is one of 613 rabbis pledging their support for Obama as part of the presidential campaign’s official “Rabbis for Obama” group. The Obama campaign website says: "The endorsement of President Obama by the rabbis speaks volumes about the president’s deep commitment to the security of the state of Israel..." (Yes, endorsement by self-hating Jews “speaks volumes” indeed!)

Quote of the Week:

“You want a new Middle East? We do too, but in the new Middle East… there will be no trace of the American presence and the Zionists,” - Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - Enemies of Israel have the same goal, destruction of Israel and killing of Jews! That is why we need to set and pursue our own national agenda, disregarding interference from our ‘friends’!

Is It a Three-States Solution Now?

The Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority's ruling Fatah faction is becoming concerned over rumors Hamas intends to create a Gaza State.

The terrorist faction wrested the region from its PA rival in 2007 after months of a savage militia war that was waged in the streets of Gaza barely two years after Israel withdrew from the area.

Recently there have been reports the Hamas leader in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, intends to declare the region a provisional independent Arab state.

At least one Fatah-affiliated website, PalPress, also reported that human rights activist Iyad Srahj, has been involved in brokering contacts between Israel and Hamas over the issue. The site claimed that Srahj was working on a deal to announce a Hudna – a long-term ceasefire – simultaneously with the proclamation of a temporary independent Gaza state.

Fatah Revolutionary Council Secretary Amin Makbul said in an interview with the al-Raya newspaper that he believes such a move will serve to further isolate Judea and Samaria and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas from Gaza.

Makbul added that he believes the move is being carried out in accordance with an Israeli plan to accomplish such isolation. (Why is it that any stupid idea is considered and promoted, even by Israel’s government, but the simply and robust solution - the Sinai Option - which can bring just peace and prosperity to all parties involved, is continuously ignored?)
