by Avi Nachmani Donald Trump has won a crushing victory over Kamala Harris in the United States presidential elections. Trump was one of the most pro-Israel presidents in the history of the United States. This is the time to remember why Israel needs him: First, the firm support for Israel and its security: Trump is one of the American leaders who expressed unequivocal and uncompromising support for Israel's security. During his previous term, he took steps such as moving the United States embassy to Jerusalem. Trump also removed the United States from the nuclear agreement with Iran and imposed extensive sanctions on it, which reduced its ability to develop nuclear weapons. Second, promoting normalization with Arab countries: during his previous term, Trump led the "Abraham Accords", a series of normalization agreements between Israel and Arab countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan. These agreements created new partnerships and opened doors for cooperation in many fields, including economy, security, tourism and technology. Third, the tough attitude towards Iran: Trump took an aggressive approach towards Iran, which led to the imposition of heavy economic sanctions and the reduction of Iran's ability to finance terrorist organizations in the Middle East. This approach led to the economic and military weakening of Iran, and directly affected the ability of Hezbollah and Hamas. Fourth, the deepening of economic cooperation: During Trump's term, growing economic cooperation between the United States and Israel was evident. He encouraged American investments in Israel and created collaborations in areas such as technology, security, and medical innovation. Fifth, influence on the UN and international organizations: Trump has taken a critical stance towards the UN and many international institutions that have often been characterized by a critical atmosphere towards Israel. He ordered the United States to withdraw from the UN Human Rights Council due to what he called "anti-Israeli bias", and this step gave Israel important political support in the fight against unfair condemnations in international institutions. The US Increased Aid to Terrorists The US Agency for International Development, USAID, is giving another $230 million in aid to the (fake) Palestinians, adding to $190 million from months ago. (Strangely, 'They' do not care so much about Saudis and other real refugees.) This is the Promised Land not Occupation Soon-to-be US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee described the responses he has received since he was nominated to the position: “I’ve been overwhelmed with positive responses, both here in the US as well as in Israel. The only negative things that I’ve seen at all have been from whom you’d expect it - from the very far left and typically in the media, particularly regarding the two-state solution, which I don’t believe is legit. It’s a position that Donald Trump has held and I expect that he will continue to." On the issue of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, particularly after Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s claim that “2025 will be the year of sovereignty”, Huckabee said: "That’s a decision for Israel to make, not for the United States to impose it on them. I don’t think Donald Trump is the kind of President that wants to tell other countries what to do and how to do it. I’ve never been willing to use the term ‘West Bank’. There is no such thing. I speak of Judea and Samaria. I tell people there is no ‘occupation’. I want to use terms that are time immemorial, and those are the terms like ‘Promised Land’ and ‘Judea and Samaria’. These are Biblical terms, and those are important to me." Food for Thought: by Steven Shamrak The only reason why the Arab-Israeli conflict is still on is because the traditional anti-Semites, who are now leading world democracies, are still propagating and allowing Jew-hatred to flourish on the street and in the UN. The enemies of Israel in the Middle East, Arab and Muslim states, just use this hateful pathology to their advantage. The traditional anti-Semites do not want to admit that Israel is on the front-line of the defence of the world democracies from Islamization, which is already on the advanced stage now! Zionism is the Jewish National Independence Movement Please, Support SHAMRAK Report Turkey Shelters Hamas Terrorists Senior members of Hamas’s abroad leadership left Qatar last week for Turkey, after Doha said it was walking away from efforts to mediate an end to the war in Gaza. Turkey offers a practical option for Hamas, given that the families of many of the terror group’s diaspora leadership already live there. President Biden said earlier this month that none of its allies should be hosting the terror group. (Why is Turkey still a NATO member?) The Pop Joined the Anti-Semitic Mob Pope Francis has called for an investigation to see if Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza constitutes genocide, according to excerpts of a book. “According to some experts (Jew-haters), what is happening in Gaza has the characteristics of a genocide,” the Pope said. Israel’s Ambassador to the Holy City, Yaron Sideman, wrote on X/ Twitter that the Pope had confused the victims with the perpetrators. “There was a genocidal massacre on 7 October 2023 of Israeli citizens (mainly Jews)." “Using a civilian or other protected person as a shield for military operations is a clear violation of IHL (International humanitarian law) and is also considered a war crime,” according to The Practical Guide to Humanitarian Law. ('They' do not care about this!) Saudi Arabia has executed 101 foreign nationals in 2024. This figure nearly triples the 34 foreign executions recorded in both 2023 and 2022. According to Amnesty International, Saudi Arabia ranked third globally in 2023 for the number of executions, following China and Iran. NO the ICC Hearings or Condemnations! The South African Government initially closed a shaft to deprive undocumented miners of food, water and medicine to force them out. Police closed off the entrances used to transport miners' supplies underground. (And there is no emergency meeting of the UN General Assembly.) Iran and Qatar are Underwriting the 'Genocide' Case Iran and Qatar are quietly underwriting South Africa's effort to prosecute Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). South Africa's ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC), brought its case against Israel on Dec. 29, 2023, just three months after Hamas's terror spree left more than 1,200 dead and hundreds more kidnapped. Meanwhile, the African National Congress has declined to disclose the source of this funding, which helped the party recover from nearly $30 million in debt. Putting a case before the ICJ requires deep pockets. Estimates place the preliminary costs at around $10.5 million, with a trial running as high as $79 million. "Given the enormity of the cost, it is difficult to dismiss the argument that South Africa was the beneficiary of considerable external support," according to a report. US Submitted Cease-fire Draft to Lebanon The United States delivered a draft cease-fire proposal to Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, who is negotiating on behalf of Hezbollah. The draft developed in coordination with Israel, with officials in Jerusalem and Washington, is now awaiting Lebanon’s response. The White House Special Envoy Amos Hochstein told Lebanese leaders he would not travel to Beirut unless assured Lebanon was ready to finalize an agreement. Judea and Samaria are Part of Eretz-Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in closed talks that the issue of sovereignty over Judea and Samaria should be revisited. His remarks join those of the remarks of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich who said that "2025 will, God willing, be the year of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria." Ammunition Found in Humanitarian Aid Convoy to Gaza The IDF announces that a humanitarian aid convoy was searched due to suspicious activity, and bags with weapons and ammunition were found. The convoy was traveling from northern Gaza to southern Gaza. International aid organizations are tasked with the internal distribution of aid to Gazan civilians once the supplies are brought in through the various crossings from Israel. Quotes of the Week: “Israel’s main goal is to force the Palestinian people from Gaza into Egypt and from the West Bank into Jordan. Netanyahu may take steps to destroy Iran’s nuclear capacity.” - Hakan Fidan, Turkish Foreign Minister - I hope he is right. Nothing wrong with it. A civilian population always supposed to leave a war zone. Why not from Gaza? UNRWA vs. UNHCR – The Shocking Numbers! Both UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) and the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) are mandated by the UN to aid refugees, but there are some significant differences between how these two organizations spend their money, and thus, how successful and efficient they are at using that money to end the refugee crisis... If one defines success as resolving the refugee’s problems, then UNRWA can only be defined as a complete failure. UNRWA does not try or want to try to resettle the refugees, nor help the refugees move forward with their lives in a new host country, where some are already 3rd and 4th generation UN welfare recipients. UNRWA maintains the refugee definition, even for those living in refugee camps within the Palestinian Authority. UNRWA has 4X more staff members than UNHCR, while UNRWA deals with 6X fewer refugees. UNRWA spends twice as much per refugee each year than UNHCR does – and has never resettled a single refugee. UNHCR: Refugees can be resettled in any third country, with the goal to help them get on with their lives. Children of refugees are not considered refugees UNRWA: Tends to 5.9 million refugees. UNHCR: Tends to 37.4 million refugees. This includes 31.6 million refugees and people in a refugee-like situation and 5.8 million other people in need of international protection. UNRWA: $1 billion USD; Number of Countries: 5; Staff: over 30,000 (13,000 in Gaza) UNHCR: $3.32 billion USD; Number of Countries: 123; Staff: some 19,000 UNRWA ‘Educators’ Linked to Terror More than 10% of principals and senior education staff employed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the Gaza Strip are members of Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Many continued to draw a regular salary after Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023 massacre. Hateful material taught in each UNRWA school, under two of which terror tunnels, were discovered by Israeli forces. UNRWA employees actively participated in the Hamas atrocities in southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, and the agency has 450 “military operatives” belonging to Hamas and other terrorist groups on its payroll. Conclusion: Shut down UNRWA and transfer responsibility for resettling UNRWA’s refugees to the UNHCR.
