Bibi: Why I’m Speaking to Congress

Why am I going to Washington? Because, as Prime minister of Israel, it’s my obligation to do everything in my power to prevent the conclusion of a bad deal that could threaten the survival of the State of Israel.

The current proposal to Iran would endanger Israel. It would enable Iran to build its first nuclear device within an unacceptably short time. And it would allow Iran to build an industrial capability to enrich uranium that could provide the fuel for many bombs in the coming years.

A regime that openly calls for Israel’s destruction would thus have finally the means to realize its genocidal aims.

Now mind you, I’m not opposed to any deal with Iran. I’m opposed to a bad deal with Iran. And I believe this is a very bad deal. I’m certainly not opposed to negotiations. On the contrary: No country has a greater stake in the peaceful resolution of the Iranian nuclear question than does Israel.

But the current proposal won’t solve the problem. It will perpetuate and aggravate the problem. It would provide a path for Iran to become a nuclear power. And so it’s very important that I speak about this in Washington.

Why am I going to Congress? Because Israel has been offered the chance to make its case on this crucial issue before the world’s most important parliament. (And, Netanyahu received a bi-partisan invitation to speak to the US Congress! Is it better that he offends Israel-supporting representatives of American people, Congress, or one Islamic-apologist, the worst president of the United States, who is on his way out?)

US-Israel Relationship is Stronger than One Mediocre President

Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) has expressed her support for the address despite opposition from the White House. She declared that the US-Israel relationship "is greater than any one person," in a clear swipe at President Barack Obama. "Let us not forget Iran has said that they want to annihilate Israel from the face of the earth, and they have also called the United States the 'Great Satan'," she added, imploring Congressmen "on both sides of the isle" to listen to the Israeli PM and work together to "protect the world" from Iran.

Obama Opposes the Attitude of the American People!

While the Israeli public has been misled into thinking that we are in a crisis with US public, annual Gallop poll points to record high support for Israel.  In 1992, the overall American level of support for Israel was 47%, in 2000 it was 54% - last year it reached 55%. By the way, according to the survey, only 17% of the American public views the Palestinian Authority favorably.

The Western World Needs to Listen

The emerging US-led deal that would allow Iran to enrich uranium at a limited rate, with the restrictions easing over time, poses a “great danger” to the Western world and Israel from a “messianic, apocalyptic” nation, said Israel’s defense minister Moshe Yaalon. Currently, negotiators are discussing a compromise of allowing 6,500 centrifuges with strict controls in place for 10 years and a gradual lifting over five years. But Israel contends the impending deal leaves the door open for Iran to covertly gain nuclear-weapons capacity, because the final stages of uranium enrichment needed to create fuel for a weapon can be done in small spaces that can be easily hidden.

While Obama Treats Netanyahu Like Enemy #1

“Wiping out the American Navy in the Persian Gulf in a few hours,” was the object of the Revolutionary Guards naval exercise Wednesday, Feb. 25. A replica of a US aircraft carrier was targeted as the symbol of US might - and not for the first time.

Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak

Just before Netanyahu’s speech at the US Congress, Al Jazeera unleased an anti-Israel ‘smoke screen’, most likely with the help of Obama administration, to discredit his position on the Iranian nuclear program. The Mossad cable said that the Islamic Republic's scientists were working to close gaps in areas of enrichment uranium (at the time, Iran had 100 kilos of 20% grade uranium - higher than is needed for nuclear reactors). Such activities, although legitimate, "will reduce the time required to produce weapons from the time the instruction is actually given". No contradiction at all - Just anti-Israel propaganda!

Israel does not need Arab Occupiers on Jewish Land!

US Secretary of State John Kerry expressed concern about the viability of the Palestinian Authority if it does not soon receive tax revenue which has been withheld by Israel. The funds have been held back since PA moved to join the International Criminal Court (ICC). (So-called Palestinians do not pay their bills to Israel, they do not respect any agreement with Israel, they kill and terrorize Jews. Why must Israel care about the PA viability? And most importantly, why does the best ‘friend’ of Israel care?)

Ties with India out of Closet

Israel’s security relationship with India is out in the open after years of being under wraps. Israel has emerged as one of India’s top three arms suppliers, delivering items such as ship defence missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, but such transactions have been unpublicized, largely because of India’s fear of upsetting Arab countries and its own large Muslim population.

PA is not Strong on Governing, only at Terrorism!

Brucellosis spreading as PA fails to vaccinate sheep.  Brucellosis, an infectious disease that spreads from animals to humans, is on the rise because of the failure of Mahmoud Abbas’ PA to provide vaccines against the disease. More than 400 PA Arabs were infected by the disease in 2014. (Although the PA rulers are good, as Arafat before them, at sending money to Swiss banks)

Obama does Saudi Arabia Work

While Christian churches are being destroyed on a near daily basis in Muslim countries throughout the world, the Obama administration spent $770 Million in US taxpayer money to rebuild overseas Islamic mosques and minarets. (Saudis build mosques around the world to be able to claim ‘Islamic’ land! What is Obama’s excuse? Appeasement of the Muslim world does not work!)

Israel Establishes Cyberdefense

Israel’s security cabinet gave the green light for a cyberdefense authority. The Israeli decision comes as the country is facing a growing number of politically motivated cyberattacks. Defending against all cyberattacks costs the country roughly $2 billion per year. “This new Israeli authority goes far beyond anything contemplated in the US,” says Lior Tabansky of Tel Aviv University’s Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center.

Will US Walk Away from Iran Nuclear Talks?

Arab states in the region reportedly voice fears that a deal that will retain Iran's nuclear technology will destabilize the region and create a nuclear arms race. US warned it is ready to walk away from Iran nuclear talks. Kerry warned against undue optimism and said. "There are still significant gaps." (Not because of Israel security, but to please Sunni ‘friends’ of president Obama!)

PA, PLO Found Liable for Terror

The Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) were found liable Monday, in a groundbreaking case against the territory for its role in inciting, supporting, planning and executing the seven terror attacks which killed American citizens between 2000 and 2004. $218.5 million dollars was awarded to the victims in the case - a figure that will be tripled to $655.5 million according to the anti-terrorism laws under which the case was brought. "If the PA and PLO have the funds to pay the families of the suicide bombers each month, then they have the money to pay these victims of Palestinian terrorism." (PA must pay for all Jewish victims and compensate financial losses Israel has had due to Arab terrorism!)

Anti-Semitic BBC won't Punish anti-Semite!

The BBC will not be taking any action against a senior correspondent, Tim Wilcox, accused of anti-Semitism during his coverage of a march in Paris following attacks by Muslim extremists which killed 17 people, including four at a kosher supermarket. He apparently equated anti-Semitism and even murder of innocent French Jews by terrorists to Israel's battle against Islamist terrorism.

PA has no Interest in Unity or Rule of Law

Mahmoud Abbas rejected an international effort to impose his government’s rule on the Gaza Strip. Western governments sought to advance a United Nations Security Council resolution that would confer upon the Ramallah administration a mandate to rule Gaza, which is currently in the hands of Abbas’ arch rival, Hamas. The draft, which was formulated this past September immediately following the conclusion of Operation Protective Edge.

Quotes of the Week:

Netanyahu Must Understand… the US will still need to support its best friend in the Middle East, which at this point in time happens to be Iran. It’s sort of like a threesome - the wife should not get angry at her husband for focusing on the other girl; after all, the wife is the reason the other girl is there.” - The US National Security Advisor Susan Rice - Since when has the high ranking US official begun advocating Islamic polygamy? Anti-Israel hate of the Obama and of the US political elite destroyed any sense of decency! There is no even attempt to understand Israel’s position.

“When Menachem Begin decided to destroy the Iraqi nuclear reactor, there were no speeches or public debate. We woke up one morning - and there was no reactor... We need to make decisions and we cannot pin it on anyone… We have to act firmly instead of whining constantly. No agreement will prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. We need to decide alone and to act accordingly." - Avigdor Liberman, Israeli Foreign Minister.

Persecution of Pollard is Political Punishment of Israel

It is also assault on Jewish-Americans - The USSR used to do this!

Key portions of a critical classified document on which the US government has cited as justification for keeping Jonathan Pollard in jail have been declassified - and his lawyers say the government has been "dishonest" in "hiding behind the mask of 'classified information' to materially mischaracterize the nature and extent of the harm caused by Mr. Pollard." The newly disclosed material shows that any harm possibly caused by Pollard was only "in the form of short-term disruption in foreign relations between the United States and certain Arab countries." That is not at all the same thing as harm to US national security and it was dishonest for the government to pretend that it is.

Pollard, who worked as a civilian intelligence analyst for the US Navy, was arrested in 1985 and indicted in 1987 on one count of passing classified information to an ally, Israel. He gave up his right to a trial and entered into a plea agreement, which was intended to spare both Israel and the US the embarrassment and damage that a lengthy trial might incur. Despite the government’s acknowledgment that Pollard fulfilled all the terms of his plea agreement, the US government reneged. He was sentenced to life despite the plea deal.

Pollard is the only person in the US history to receive a life sentence for spying for an ally. The median sentence for the offense is two to four years.
