US in Disgraceful Double-flip Policy!
by Steven Shamrak
A few days ago, Joe Biden,
the US Vice President, said in a pre-taped interview with ABC's George
Stephanoupolos: "Look, Israel can determine for itself - it's a sovereign
nation - what's in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran
and anyone else… What we believe is in the national interest of the United
States, which we, coincidentally, believe is also in the interest of Israel and
the whole world… Look, we cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they
can and cannot do."
Does this mean that Obama's
administration has finally realised that Israel was right about Iran all the
time and the policy of appeasement of Iran has gruesomely failed? Why has
Israel suddenly become "a sovereign nation" with no pressure from the
United States and "coincidentally" with the same interests as the US
"and the whole world"? Shouldn't Israel be recognised as a sovereign
country, as any other state is, without any special permission and dispensation
from the United States?
By now, the US
administration and even many Muslim countries have realised that they need
Israel to do their dirty work for them in order to prevent Iran from developing
a nuclear weapon! Later, without any doubt, they will vigorously deny their
desire to subdue the Iranian nuclear ambition and will scream at Israel with
wild accusations of aggression etc, just as they did after Israel stopped
Iraq's nuclear ambitions in 1981.
Biden's statement was made
after the election in Iran failed to produce a change in the political
leadership in Iran and the president of Iran rejected any negotiations toward
ending Iranian development of a nuclear weapons program. At the same time, he
has expanded his irrational verbal assault and threats toward the United
Kingdom and Europe.
Almost immediately, State
Department spokesman Ian Kelly began a damage control offensive, rebuffing
suggestions that Biden could be seen as giving the Jewish state a green light
to attack Iran: "I certainly would not want to give a green light to any
kind of military action," Kelly said, although he repeated Biden's point
that Washington considered Israel a "sovereign country" with a right
to make its own military decisions. "I wouldn't read into it any more than
what you see... as I said, that we respect Israel's sovereignty." And it
did not take long for President Obama to deny - "absolutely" - that
Washington gave green light for Israel to strike Iran's nuclear facilities.
At the same time: Egypt has
vigorously denied that an Israeli submarine crossed through the Suez Canal into
the Red Sea last month and now it is able to reach the Persian Gulf off Iran in
a matter of days; Saudi Arabia has rejected reports that it agreed on use of
Saudi airspace by Israeli fighter jets on a mission to bomb nuclear targets in
Iran.
On the final analysis the
US administration and many Muslim countries would love and even be quite eager
to see Israel striking at and destroying the Iranian nuclear and ballistic
rocket programs, but the President Obama and other players want to keep their
hands clean and maintain their ambiguous position toward a military attack on
Iran in order to be able to rebuke and assault Israel politically later after
attack. What a disgraceful double-flip hypocritical policy!
Message to Iran. Two
Israeli warships reportedly passed through the Suez Canal on Tuesday in what is
seen as an unusual show of cooperation between Egypt and the Jewish State
against Iran, according to Arab news media. The report has not been officially
confirmed by the IDF.
UNIFIL Inspectors
Attacked in Lebanon. In Southern Lebanon, 14 United Nations Interim Force
in Lebanon (UNIFIL) inspectors were injured on Saturday after they were
attacked by villagers of Khirbet Selm, 12 miles north of the Lebanese-Israeli
border. The inspectors came to investigate the circumstances of an explosion of
an ammunition depot, most likely belonging to Hizbullah terrorists.
Quote of the Week: "The one thing we're also aware of
is the fact that the history, of least, of negotiation with Iran is that there
is a lot of talk but not always action and follow-through. And that's why it is
important for us, I think, without having set an artificial deadline, to be
mindful of the fact that we're not going to have talks forever… Israel is
concerned about, but it's also an issue of concern for the United States and
for the international community as a whole." -
Obama during meeting with Nataniahu – Iran
has made it clear – its objective to develop nuclear weapon and use it against
Israel. So far, the US administration has offered negotiation and other
demagogic statements as a pathetic excuse for inaction and delaying tactic,
putting Israel at risk!
The Answer is Clear – It is Time to Get Serious
with Iran! Responding to a deadline issued earlier by the G8 summit leaders
that Iran must begin negotiations on its nuclear program by September, a senior
Iranian official told the state controlled TV broadcaster IRIB that it would
not cede "even one inch" in its nuclear development program.
Delusional Jews are Easily Fooled Again. The American Jewish
Committee praised President Obama for the unequivocal commitment to Israel's
security that he expressed to U.S. Jewish leaders in an hour-long White House
meeting last week. U.S. President Barack Obama,
worried over increasing criticism from Jewish supporters because of his soft
talk on Iran and a tough stance against Jews in Judea and Samaria, has
selectively invited only the members of politically correct Jewish
organizations, deliberately excluding Zionists. (The
meeting created nice headlines for Obama.)
A Game: Al-Jazeera
Banned from West Bank. The Palestinian Authority on Wednesday
banned Al-Jazeera television from operating in its territory and threatened
legal action over allegations it broadcast against President Mahmoud Abbas and
spreading falsehoods and incited viewers against the authorities that run the
West Bank. (For quite a while I have been advocating
that Israel must adopt the same tough policy toward media outlets and journalists
for spreading falsehoods about the Jewish state. Israel must fight the Media
war! A week later ban is lifted.)
Calls for Peace are Dismissed. Hardly a day has passed in
recent weeks without Israeli Prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu appealing to PA chairman
Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) to join him in peace negotiations. But Abu Mazen's
spokesmen, Saeb Erakat and Abu Rodeina, predictably spurned the invitation.
Before negotiations, they said, Israel must accept the Palestinian refugees
"right of return" and halt all settlement activity without exception.
Food for Thought. by Steven

Jordan was illegally ceded by the
British from land designated for the Jewish state. Judea, Samaria and Gaza are
integral parts of the Eretz-Israel. It does not matter whether the
Sinai Option is going to eventually lead to the creation of
another Arab state or remain under Egypt’s control: Jewish land will be
reunited; rocket/terror attacks will end - it will be easier for Israel to deal
with the enemy across the border!
Is It a Three-State Solution Now? Cairo has informed all the
concerned parties that it has given up on Palestinian reconciliation and a
power-sharing deal for reuniting the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The Egyptian
plan - as presented to Israel, Syria and the Palestinian Authority – was to
form two security commissions - the two entities - to supervise Palestinian
security and intelligence forces in the West Bank and Gaza Strip respectively
and represent the Palestinians in diplomacy with the Americans and the
Israelis. Cairo also proposed creating a new 3,000-strong Palestinian security
service with a half-and-half Fatah-Hamas membership to assume responsibility
for and reopen the Gaza Strip crossings. (Just
anything goes when Jew-haters are determined to deprive Jews of their land!
What side is Israel suppose to negotiate with and will the other one recognize
the results of the negotiation? It is time to end the ‘peace process’ charade!)
Israel
Pressured by Self-Serving EU Politician. The European Union's foreign policy
chief, Javier Solana, has called for the U.N. Security Council to recognise a
Palestinian state by a certain deadline even if Israelis and Palestinians have
not reached agreement among themselves. (Javier Solana knows exactly what is
going on in the Middle East, but in his last months in office, he is trying to
secure his future and make memorable his retirement. The EU is silent and does
not call for the independence of Tibet and Muslim minorities whose land is
occupied by China; independence for the Basque people - the oldest nation of
Europe – whose land is occupied by Spain and France does not concern EU.
Creation of another Arab terror state, there are already 22 of them, populated
by an invented nation on Jews land is the highest priority of Europe!)
Quote of the Week: “I want to
say for the thousandth time, in my own name and in the name of all of my fellow
members of the Fatah movement: We do not demand that the Hamas movement
recognize Israel. On the contrary, we demand of the Hamas movement not to
recognize Israel, because the Fatah
movement does not recognize Israel, even today... It's
required of the government but not of Hamas; it's required of the government
but not of the Fatah, so that this government will be able to offer the
necessary assistance, to carry out the necessary reconstruction, to offer
assistance to the sick, to bring relief to needy families...This can be dealt
with [only] by a government that has relations with the international community,
one that is acceptable to the international community, in order that we can
work together and benefit from the international community.” - Muhammad Dahlan, senior PA official (March 17, 2009, PA TV) – Clearly stated hypocrisy! It is money they want from the
international community - not peace with Israel.
Goal Unchanged -
Masked by Fake Peace Process.
by
Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik
All of the
examples below represent clear violations of the Oslo agreement and the
arrogant and hypocritical behaviour of the PA, which knows that the anti-Israel
international community will do nothing to stop the farce of the peace process
and reinstate the rightful ownership of the Jewish people over the land which
is called Palestine.
It should be noted that
when Fatah group refers to "Palestine," it is routinely referring to
all of Israel and historically it includes Jordan:
1. The Fatah flag still
shows the map of Israel under rifles. The same symbol appears on the Fatah
website (http://www.fateh.ps) and other official Fatah publications.
2. Fatah MP Najat Abu-Bakr
said in a PA TV interview last year that Fatah's goal remains the destruction
of Israel, but that their political plan is to focus on the West Bank and Gaza
Strip: It doesn't mean that we don't want the 1948 borders [all of
Israel]... but our current political program is to say that we want the 1967
borders.
3. A PA TV educational documentary broadcast monthly
since 2007 includes the following words denying the existence of Israel:
Another section in Palestine which is the Palestinian coast that spreads along
the [Mediterranean] sea, from... Ashkelon in the south, until Haifa, in the
Carmel Mountains…
