Truth is Out, Gingrich under Atack!

GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich has gotten himself into hot water with the Arab world, and with the Palestinian Authority (and international anti-Israel stooges). NEWT Gingrich has repeated a claim that Palestinians are an ''invented'' people with no clear right to their own state. The former Speaker of the House of Representatives had described the Middle East peace process as ''delusional'' in an interview with cable TV's Jewish Channel.

''Remember, there was no Palestine as a state,'' Mr Gingrich said. ''It was part of the Ottoman Empire. And I think that we've had an invented Palestinian people, who are in fact Arabs and were historically part of the Arab community. And they had a chance to go many places.'' (He must has read my letters)

"I think that we've had an invented Palestinian people who are in fact Arabs, and who were historically part of the Arab community. And they had a chance to go many places, and for a variety of political reasons we have sustained this war against Israel now since the 1940s and it's tragic," he said.

In short, added Gingrich, the peace process between the Jewish State and the PA has been "delusional," and the effort by U.S. President Barack Obama and his administration to treat the PA the same as Israel is actually "favoring the terrorists."

Mr Gingrich's comments were widely condemned in the US as counterproductive, and prompted an angry response from Saeb Erekat, a senior Palestinian Authority official, who said they served only to ''increase the cycle of violence''. (Jew-bashers do not like it when the truth about Jewish rights to the land of Palestine and the Arab-Israel conflict are exposed by prominant non-Jews, as it is difficult to dismiss it as Zionist propaganda!)

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich’s remarks about Palestinian Authority Arabs were “unhelpful.” (Unhelpful to whom - Arab terrorists and Jew-haters? What Gingrich said was a rare expression of truth, which most politicians know but ignore or pretend it does not exist!)

But the 68-year-old Mr Gingrich stood by his remarks. ''These people (Arabs) are terrorists,'' he said, referring to Palestinian groups. ''Sometimes it's helpful to have a president of the United States who tells the truth.'' He also said the Hamas militant group, which controls the Gaza Strip, and the Palestinians' governing body, the Palestinian Authority, which controls the West Bank, represent "an enormous desire to destroy Israel."

Mr Gingrich, who is leading in some national polls for the Republican party nomination, sharply criticised the Obama administration's approach to Middle East diplomacy, saying it is "so out of touch with reality that it would be like taking your child to the zoo and explaining that a lion was a bunny rabbit."

PS: Gingrich stirred up a hornet’s nest when he remarked that “The Palestinians are an invented people.” Golda Meir made the same point when she told the London Sunday Times on June 15, 1969 that “There is no such thing as a Palestinian people.” (This confirmation of well-known facts by a prominent American politician is welcome. But why was he silent on the subject as a Speaker of the United States House of Representatives? Why have the world politicians and press surrendered to anti-Semitism and support Arabs’ intention to destroy Israel?)

Happy Chanukah!

May the Zionist eternal spirit of the Maccabees return to Israel and help Jews defeat enemies and remove them from Eretz-Israel.

Look Who is Talking:

"the consequences (of an Israeli attack) could be that we have an escalation that …would not only involve many lives… but trigger Iranian retaliation against US forces, and ultimately spark a backlash in Iran that would bolster its rulers." - US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta - Had US worried about those “consequences” when it attacked Afghanistan and Iraq in order to remove terror threat to American people or change government in Iraq? These  actions have served only to “bolster” the popularity of Al Quaida in the Muslim world. Why must Israel suffer attacks from her enemies and be disallowed by anti-Semitic international hypocrites to retaliate and put an end to this hideous reality?

Enemies within Undermining Israel’s FM

Israeli officials squirmed in embarrassment over Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s ringing endorsement of Russia’s contested parliamentary elections as “free and democratic.” “Such praise is appalling and deeply embarrassing. These remarks in no way reflect our official position,” a senior government official told AFP, speaking on condition of anonymity. (Many top world diplomats have also expressed grave concerns over the outcome of the vote in Russia, which observers say was marred by widespread irregularities. But only in Israel was the Foreign Minister “embarrassed” by his own stuff. When will this self-defeating practice of the left infested bureaucracy end?)

Obama Blamed for Giving Iran Spy Drone

Gov. Rick Perry, a contender for the Republican nomination for US President, lambasted President Barack Obama for failing to keep a highly valued spy drone from falling into the hands of Iran's armed forces. The US military offered Obama different courses of action for retrieving the drone or destroying it when it came down on Iranian soil last week, but he rejected both options for fear that they would be seen as acts of war.

Iran is Driving a Hard Bargain for Access to US drone

Iran is driving a hard bargain for granting Russian and Chinese teams access to the US stealth drone RQ-170 it captured undamaged. The price includes advanced nuclear and missile technology, especially systems using solid fuel, the last word on centrifuges for enriching uranium and the S-300PMU-1 air defence system. (When is the right time for the US to strike Iran? How much more humiliation from Iran is the Obama administration prepared to swallow?)

Freedom of Religion in Israel is only for Muslims

The Israeli government is currently banning all non-Muslims from ascending the Temple Mount, considered the holiest site in Judaism. "It seems freedom of religion in Israel is only for Muslims and not for Christians and Jews," Danny Danon, deputy speaker of the Knesset, referring to the new restrictions. Jerusalem Police spokesman Shmulik Ben Ruby confirmed that Jews and Christians are restricted from entering the Temple Mount due to safety concerns over the main access gate for non-Muslims, known as the Mughrabi Bridge. There are 15 gates leading into the Temple Mount compound, 10 of which are in use, but for Muslims only.

Another UN ‘Concern’ is Attempt to Vilify Israel

The United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights has called on the Israeli government to amend its laws in order to ease the burden on fathers seeking full or partial custody of their children. At (another) special hearing in Geneva last month, the committee expressed concern that fathers embroiled in custody disputes here are not always treated fairly under the Capacity and Guardianship Law. (Yes, laws must be changed, butthis is interference into the internal politics of a sovereign country! Has this committee made a similar resolution regarding the rights of mothers in Muslim/Arab countries? What about lack of religious freedom, and abuse of human rights and freedom of speech by most of those Islamic dictatorships? No concerns’!)

Sneaky Diplomacy Instead of Peace Process

A slick little attempt by the PA to gain statehood recognition - at least on paper - in a listing at a United Nations convention on climate change, held in Durban, was stymied. The PA delegation had been listed on the Saturday program as representing the State of Palestine, rather than that of an observer entity. Israeli diplomats immediately took steps to have the error corrected. (The UN is very eager to cooperate with PA in allowing too many of such ‘errors’ to slip into its programs)

“Yes” on a War with Syria, but Wait for Nuclear Iran?

Units of US troops evacuated from Iraq have been diverted to positions in Jordan opposite a Syrian tank concentration building up across the kingdom's northern border. The incoming US contingents are housed at the King Hussein Air Base of al-Mafraq, 10 kilometers from the Syrian border.

Quote of the Week:

“A Christian gets bullied and verbally abused by Muslims in the workplace, and the Christian worker gets fired. These Muslims …do not belong in a free society. Yet we still allow massive Muslim immigration. When is enough? When are westerners going to stop being frightened and intimidated and start exerting their rights within their own nations?” - Laura

Vatican Sold out Christians to Islam

by Giulio Meotti

Christians are being sold out by Church - Jews were sold out long time ago! Officialdom of the Church is driven by anti-Semitism and policy of appeasement of Islamic terror!

On September 12th, 2006, Joseph Ratzinger claimed that the god of the Muslims is both transcendental and unreasonable and he severely condemned Jihad and the use of violence in the name of Koran. It was the only public event in which a Pope told the truth about some aspects of Islamic religion…

The reaction to the Pope’s speech was (predictably) a familiar spectacle: Threats, riots, and violence. From the religious leaders in Muslim majority countries to the New York Times, all demanded the Pope’s apologies. In the Palestinian (controlled) areas, churches were attacked and Christians targeted. In the Somali capital, Mogadishu, an Italian nun was executed. In Iraq, Amer Iskander, a Syrian Orthodox priest, was beheaded and his arms mutilated…

After Regensburg, the Vatican adopted an appeasement agenda. Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, who is known for having a pro-Islam position, was appointed by the Pope as the head of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue…

Last autumn, Vatican representatives met with Muslim leaders from around the world in Tehran for “a three-day interreligious dialogue.” In Tehran Cardinal Tauran praised Iran’s “spirit of cordiality” and “the friendly Ahmadinejad.” Last month, the Vatican published a letter written by Tauran, addressing his “Dear Muslim friends.” In the letter, Tauran asked for Islamic help to form an alliance against atheism…

Last May, Bishop Mariano Crociata, secretary general of the Italian Episcopal Conference, announced that the Vatican is in favor of building new mosques in Europe. A month later the European Bishops met with European Muslims in Turin (Cardinal Tauran was also present) to proclaim the need for the “progressive enculturation of Islam in Europe”…

The State of Israel is easily expendable in the new pro-Islam policy. In January 2009, thousands of Muslims marched in front of Milan’s Duomo to protest against Operation Cast Lead in GazaMonths later, Pope Benedict visited Bethlehem, where the Christian population has dropped from a majority to less than 20%. Benedict delivered a message of solidarity to the 1.4 million Palestinians isolated in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip. He said nothing of the suffering of Gaza’s 3,000 Christians since Hamas took over that territory in 2007…

To understand the new Vatican’s approach toward Islam, one should also read what happened in the historical synod on the Middle East hosted by the Pope last autumn. Nothing was said about Islamist persecution of Christians; indeed, every effort was made to show the Catholic Church’s sympathy to Muslim grievances, especially against “Zionism” - a word evoked as a symbol of evil…

Elsewhere, the number of Christians in Turkey declined from two million to 85,000; in Syria, from half the population they have been reduced to 4%; in Jordan, from 18% to 2%; nearly two-thirds of the 500,000 Christians in Baghdad have fled or been killed; in Lebanon, Christians have dwindled to a sectarian rump, menaced by surging Shiite and Sunni populations, and in Saudi Arabia Christians have been beaten or tortured by religious police.
