Time to Win the War!

As Israelis mourned the horrific attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem Tuesday morning, many Palestinian Arabs reacted with delight. In macabre scenes played out in numerous Arab areas - including Gaza, Bethlehem and parts of Jerusalem - Palestinians took to the street to celebrate the cold-blooded murder of unarmed Jewish worshipers as they prayed in Har Nof.

Just hours after five Jews were murdered praying at a synagogue in Jerusalem's Har Nof, a young Jew in his 20s was attacked by two Arab assailants armed with iron bars in Jerusalem's Old City.

At the same time, an Arab citizen of Israel was arrested in possession of an improvised sub-machine gun at the same Hahagana train station in Tel Aviv where an IDF soldier was stabbed to death by an Arab terrorist a week before.

Iranian Cleric - A leading Iranian cleric, Ayatollah Ali Movahedi-Kermani speaking in a televised public sermon in the capital Tehran, has threatened to "raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground… the Sejjil ballistic missile can hit and raise to the ground any place in Israel, as well as any American base in the region."

Hamas Leader - Senior Hamas leader Mahmoud Al-Zahar declared that the terrorist movement is planning to develop its capabilities to carry out terror attacks against Israel from Judea and Samaria. He further said that in the last war, Hamas’s rockets reached as far as Haifa, and that now the time has come to increase the range and destructive power of the missiles so that they can hit any point in Israel.

”Lower Tensions” - Tell it to Arabs!

US President Barack Obama has responded to the terror attack in Jerusalem: "At this sensitive moment in Jerusalem, it is all the more important for Israeli and Palestinian leaders and ordinary citizens to work cooperatively together to lower tensions, reject violence, and seek a path forward towards peace." (What peace! Israel is under attack, but the US, as usual, is impeding Israel’s response to Arab terror!)

Palestinians Dancing in Streets with Joy

Palestinians in Gaza celebrated the meat-cleaver terror attack in Jerusalem that left five people at a synagogue dead by handing out cookies and candy and dancing in the streets, just like the celebrations that followed the Sept. 11 terror attacks and even the Boston Marathon bombing. A PA reporter said: “The will of the people lies in resistance and armed struggle - and even when it is with knives and axes - until Palestine is liberated from the (Jordan) River to the (Mediterranean) Sea.” (There is only one solution to the conflict - remove the enemy population from the Jewish land!)

Why is Jewish State a Controversial Idea?

The Israeli cabinet has approved a bill declaring Israel a Jewish state. Ministers voted 14 to six in favour of the bill. The bill defining Israel as a home state for the Jewish people alone. "It cannot be that those who attack Israeli citizens and call for the elimination of the state of Israel will enjoy rights such as national insurance, and their family members as well, who support them," Netanyahu said. (This is long overdue! There are Muslim and Arab states, Christian and even Buddhist ones. Why are international anti-Semites still questioning the rights of Jewish people to their own land and country? All land of the Palestine Mandate was assigned in 1922 in order to re-create the Jewish homeland - Eretz-Israel!)

3 Americans Rabbis killed at a Synagogue in Israel

A US State Department spokesperson said "we can confirm that three US citizens, Moshe Twersky, Aryeh Kupinsky and Cary William Levine, were killed in the attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem." (When American Jews are killed by Palestinian terrorists - not the first time - the US government does not care! Just imagine what would the US government reaction be if a Jewish ‘extremist’ killed an imam or a priest?)

Obama Rush for Justification of Terror Against Jews

Terrorists stormed the synagogue, used axes, knives and guns. They killed three rabbis, another worshiper and a police officer during morning prayers. In his statement, President Obama condemned (paid lip service) the attacks, but he was quick to urge all sides to renounce violence: “Tragically, this is not the first loss of life that we have seen in recent months. Too many Israelis have died. Too many Palestinians have died,” said Obama, who urged both sides (in order to stop Israel’s retaliation) to work together to “lower tensions.”

Abbas is Illegitimate Ruler

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is refusing to hold elections because he’s afraid that Hamas will win, said Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar. “Abbas is facing a real crisis,” Zahar said. “He is facing a political crisis after failing with his statehood bid at the United Nations and his inability to halt settlement construction in the West Bank and Jerusalem.” Zahar said that Hamas was prepared to contest elections, but “Abbas is afraid of holding them because he fears the results.”

The Parole Board of the US Justice Department has rejected longtime prisoner Jonathan Pollard's request to be conditionally released. November 21 will mark his thirtieth year of incarceration in a US jail for passing classified security-related information from America to Israel, which the US was supposed to give freely to its ally! The 60-year-old professor of sociology at Ottawa University, Hassan Diab, a Canadian of Lebanese descent, was charged over the deadly 1980 bombing of a Paris synagogue after losing his six-year legal battle against extradition. The October 3, 1980, bombing of a synagogue on Rue Copernic in Paris killed four people and left about 40 others injured. It marked the first fatal attack against the French Jewish community since the Nazi occupation in World War II. (Why did it take so long to extradite murderer of Jews? The same ‘urgency’ was given to persecution of Nazi criminals! Apologists for Islamic terrorism try to convince the public that lack of education among Muslims is the main problem. Well, most 9/11 attackers were well-educated!)

"Nobody has opened an embassy in Ramallah, and we think that this can be managed by the consulate in Jerusalem, which is a satisfactory solution for us," said Foreign Minister Margot Wallstroem.

Cuba Rejected Idiotic Islamisation Plan

Cuba has reportedly rejected Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's offer to build the country's first mosque. Erdogan's offer came during a speech in Istanbul to Muslim leaders from Latin America, in which he made the bizarre claim that Muslims discovered America nearly three centuries before Christopher Columbus. "Muslim sailors arrived in America from 1178," Erdogan said at the televised address.

Bogus Apology after Deliberate anti-Israel Errors

CNN has apologized for one of several errors in its reporting of brutal terrorist attack on Synagogue in Jerusalem. The headline presented for the story broadcast live to tens of millions of viewers read: "Israeli... Police Shot, Killed 2 Palestinians." One ‘peculiar’ headline aired shortly after the story broke, read "Deadly Attack on Jerusalem Mosque," while another seemed to play down the role of the "2 Palestinians" (i.e. terrorists) who were killed by police by equating their death with those of their victims, blandly proclaiming: "4 Israelis, 2 Palestinians Dead in Jerusalem." (Anti-Israel news organizations, like CCN and Al Jazeera must not be allowed work in Israel! Egypt has done it!)

Egypt Expanding Buffer Zone - No Condemnation

Egypt will double to one kilometer the depth of a security buffer zone with the Gaza Strip, by clearing houses and trees and destroying subterranean tunnels it says are used to smuggle arms from Gaza to militants in Sinai.

Absurdity of Obama’s Anti-Bibi Posture

The ZOA notes that though Obama Administration officials have reportedly expressed "red hot anger" at Netanyahu for his construction policies in Jerusalem, it did not express the same anger, or indeed any condemnation at all of Mahmoud Abbas and the PA for any of the following:

- Refusing to negotiate with Israel for close to 6 and a half years

- Delivering three No's in his meeting with President Obama last March: No acceptance of Israel as a Jewish state; no renunciation of the so-called 'right of return' and the demand to allow millions of Arabs to descend upon the State of Israel; and no end to conflict and claims against Israel, even if a peace settlement is signed by both sides

- Ignoring the Obama Administration's policy of seeking a negotiated peace by going to the United Nations to obtain non-member status for 'Palestine'

- Calling last week's Palestinian terrorist murderer of two Israeli civilians, including a baby, a "heroic martyr," and welcoming blood-soaked, convicted and jailed Palestinian terrorists freed by Israel with the words, "We welcome our heroic brothers." At the same time, he consistently praises other terrorists, and even conferred the "Star of Honor" on leading PLO terrorist Abu Jihad, who was responsible for the murder of at least 125 Israelis in numerous terror attacks.

The ZOA notes that in recent weeks, the Obama Administration has:

- Roundly criticized Israel for announcing a construction project of homes for Jews in the eastern part of Jerusalem and publicly doubting its concern for peace

- Snubbed Israel's Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon who was refused meetings with Vice President Joseph Biden, Secretary of State John Kerry and National Security Advisor Susan Rice during his trip to the United States this month - though he met with his counterpart Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel.
