The Wishy-Washy Ceasefire by Steven Shamrak Before Israel attacked Iran's nuclear sites, the US intelligence had reportedly predicted Iran could have been as little as three months away from developing a nuclear bomb. When Israel’s war on Iran appeared to be approaching a pivotal moment, President Donald Trump demanded “Unconditional Surrender” from Tehran and weighed his military options. “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there. We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.” Less than 48 hours later, Trump took to his social media platform to announce that a “Complete and Total Ceasefire” had been achieved. After Trump’s announcement of the ceasefire, Iran launched a strike on Israel. However, Israel was not allowed to reply! The US President Donald Trump said he would likely seek a commitment from Iran to end its nuclear ambitions. Not long after Trump’s announcement, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared that Iran wouldn’t surrender. Iran declared that there is no agreement even to have a talk about a ceasefire! After twisting arms, possible political and military blackmail of both Israel and Iran, Trump said: “I’m not happy with them. I’m not happy with Iran, either, but I’m really unhappy with Israel going out this morning. We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the F-- they’re doing.” “This is a war that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t and never will!” Trump declared in a social media post announcing the ceasefire. There was no evidence that any country in the Middle East, and even Iran's proxies were not interested to participate in the conflict! Trump claims Iran’s nuclear capabilities were ‘obliterated’ despite the UN watchdog comments and the US Defence Intelligence Agency assessment that the attack did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by a few months, not years. The Kremlin said that it was too early for anyone to have a realistic picture of damage inflicted on Iran’s nuclear facilities by US airstrikes. Donald Trump hit back at a leaked intelligence report, but did not provide any proof of the airstrike success. Trump’s declaration that Iran would abandon its nuclear ambitions and its dream of destroying the State of Israel was premature. Trump said the US will hold talks with Iran, with a possible agreement on the table about ending Tehran’s nuclear programme - the idea which Iran has already been rejected. In the past Iran participated in protracted fake negotiations to facilitate advance of its nuclear program. The IAEA has pushed for a resumption of its relationship with Iran. Iran is still a member of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), an agreement designed to monitor and prevent the global spread of nuclear weapons. Iran has already said it plans to withdraw from the NPT, aimed to limit the spread of nuclear weapons globally, and to stop cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Almost immediately, Iran’s parliament voted to suspend the country’s cooperation with the United Nations nuclear watchdog. Despite the declaration of a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, there is no real agreement. The 'negotiation game’ will be 'played' until Iran restores its nuclear program. We're now "moving into a true danger zone" again. Iran is likely to speed up its nuclear program. President Trump should allow Israel to finish the job, and let Iranian people remove Islamic tyranny! No International Condemnation! At least 1.2 million Afghani refugees have been forced out of Iran and Pakistan this year. Food for Thought: by Steven Shamrak The majority of Iranian people would like to see the end of religious dictatorship in their country, and hope that help is coming. At the same time, they are confused by anti-Israel demonstrations in the West, after Israel began striking Iran’s nuclear program targets, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders, and the elite Quds Force. President Trump’s erratic position on regime change in Iran - from against to pro-regime change, and back again is even more confusing to Iranians. Zionism is the Jewish National Independence Movement Khamenei Threatens Israel Again Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, continued to threaten Israel, hours after boasting of the Islamic Republic’s “victory” in the recent war. “The Zionist regime must know that attacking the Islamic Republic of Iran will result in a heavy cost for them.” Iran could resume uranium enrichment in ‘matter of months,’ IAEA chief said. (Iran has no intention for peace or even for fake ceasefire with Israel) Chairman of the Knesset National Security Committee, MK Tzvika Foghel, is calling for an intensified military campaign to eliminate Hamas in Gaza and secure the return of the hostages. “It’s time to deal decisively with Gaza. Take off the gloves. Stop all humanitarian aid - no electricity, no water - and begin destruction and promoting voluntary migration. In my view, there are no uninvolved civilians left there. There are no innocents. They’re all Hamas.” Hamas Targeting Aid Staff in Gaza The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) said that reports of Hamas targeting its personnel and aid workers in Gaza are credible. "Hamas has placed bounties on both our American security personnel and Palestinian aid workers - offering cash rewards to anyone who injures or kills them," the aid organization said in a statement. (No wonder there are shootings around the distribution centres.) Jewish Singing, Dancing Allowed on Temple Mount For the first time in years, Jewish visitors to the Temple Mount were permitted to sing and dance openly across the entire compound. The move reverses a long-standing status quo, under which Jewish worshipers were regularly detained or removed for quietly praying or even mouthing words. The shift follows a meeting held three weeks ago in Ben-Gvir’s office with leaders of Temple Mount advocacy groups. Enough with Perpetual Prosecution President Donald Trump lashed out at Israeli prosecutors, posting that it was “terrible” what was happening to “war hero” Netanyahu, who faces charges of bribery. He called Netanyahu’s prosecution a “POLITICAL WITCH HUNT” and compared the case to the “very similar to the Witch Hunt that I was forced to endure”. (Netanyahu's trial has been going on for many years, without any outcome. Trump's comments are not appropriate, but isn't it enough with the Leftist political "Witch Hunt"?) Mayor of Arad announced that he would ban the left-wing daily Haaretz from his city over what he said was a “false blood libel” in a feature article accusing the Israeli Defense Forces of “deliberately” firing on Gazans near aid distribution sites. The IDF rejected the accusations, saying its directives “prohibit” intentional attacks on non-combatants. “The IDF did not instruct the forces to deliberately shoot at civilians, including those approaching the distribution centers.” Immediately after president Trump announced a 'ceasefire', Iran’s parliament approved a bill to suspend cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog, the IAEA. In parliament, 221 lawmakers voted in favour and one abstained, with no votes against. Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf stated that Iran would accelerate its civilian nuclear program. Iran has enriched uranium up to 60 percent, a short, technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90%. (How long do you think this ‘ceasefire’ charade will last?) Israeli Commandos were in Iran IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir revealed that ground commando units, alongside Mossad operatives, conducted covert operations inside Iran during the war. The IDF also made use of a wide variety of operations, including intelligence, cyber-warfare, naval forces, and ground troops - though the use of the latter was not publicized during the war. Iran Detains 700 ‘Mossad Operatives’ Following the 12-day war with Israel, Iranian authorities have detained approximately 700 individuals, accusing them of assisting Mossad and Israeli military operations. Three individuals accused of working for Israel’s Mossad were executed in Iran. The IDF struck several military command centers belonging to the Iranian regime, including the "Thar-Allah" command center, which is designated to defend Tehran from security threats, including internal threats. "The IDF continues the ongoing effort to degrade the Iranian regime’s military capabilities and will persist in its efforts to ensure the security of the State of Israel," the IDF stressed in a statement. (Israel is paving a way for Iranians to remove the brutal Islamists regime.) Quotes of the Week: “Netanyahu is my political rival, but his decision to strike Iran at this moment in time is the right one. The whole country is united in this moment, when faced with an enemy sworn to our destruction, nothing will divide us. A nuclear Iran would have been an existential threat to the State of Israel. Iran cannot be a nuclear state. Not now. Not ever.” - Yair Lapid, Israeli Opposition Leader - WOW, rear show of unity! by Itamar Eichner Operation Rising Lion lasted just 12 days. During that short time, Israel dramatically altered the strategic threat map facing the country. The campaign, was marked by close coordination with the US, unprecedented aerial freedom over Iran, and devastating strikes on nuclear facilities. It was a turning point in the regional power dynamic. Crucially, the conflict did not escalate into a full-scale regional war. Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iranian-backed militias in Iraq stayed on the sidelines, not due to lack of intent, but due to operational constraints. Despite Israel’s advanced missile defence systems, several Iranian ballistic missiles penetrated defences, exposing gaps in home front security. These failures have sparked renewed calls to accelerate development of next-generation laser interception systems and expand physical protection. Not everyone agrees with the timing of the ceasefire. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir praised the military gains but said the campaign ended too soon. “We should’ve continued for several more days - toppled the Iranian regime and cut off Hamas and Hezbollah’s oxygen supply once and for all,” he said. Security experts warn that Israel's true challenge now lies ahead. Without a binding agreement or effective inspection mechanisms, Iran is likely to resume its nuclear and missile programs. Without leveraging these gains into a broader political framework and reliable enforcement mechanisms, Israel may face renewed confrontation with Iran - perhaps under less favourable conditions.
