The Convergence Ghetto Mentality Plan.
by Aliza Karp.
The
Disengagement Plan sounded so much more innocent than "Deportation and
Destruction Plan". The phrase "painful concessions" sounds so
righteous and good-hearted, when the "painful" part should truthfully
be called "abuse of settlers" and the "concessions" part
called "rewarding terrorism".
The
latest buzzword is "Convergence". How practical and efficient! The
Convergence Plan; or should it really be called the "Ghetto Mentality
Plan"?
The
Jewish authorities have not known what to do about the Arab population since
the territories were first liberated in 1967. At that time, we could have given
the Arabs a dollar each and sent them to one of their own countries. The Arabs
would have been thrilled to get away with their lives. But the open-minded,
good-will-towards-all-men government insisted the Arabs stay and play nice.
… So, here we are, barely 60 years from the ghettos of
Europe, and we are building a fence and moving into our self-imposed ghetto. …
The illusion that when we retreat the Arabs will calm down can no longer be
comforting. The facts show that the Arabs who previously targeted the Gush
Katif communities are now attacking cities inside the Green Line. The same can
be expected following each retreat. … The Convergence Ghetto Mentality Plan seems like a
quick fix for an era of peace and quiet, but it may very well lead to a similar
peace and quiet that now reigns in the ghettos of Europe. (Building the fence cost Israel millions of dollars, which might
better have been used to encourage Arabs to leave Jewish land. Beside the moral
damage to the Jews, no one wants to talk about the environmental and
archaeological damage caused by the fence. After its completion the Kassam
rockets will still fly to our cities, including Jerusalem, and Tzahal, the
Israeli army, will not be able to rapidly respond. Is it all worth it?)
Armed Arab men opened fire on the convoy of
Hamas Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh Friday as it left a Gaza mosque. – They have not respect or
value life of their own. Why would they care about others?
Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak
We don’t need
Hamas’ recognition of Israel. We need that Jewish people started to appreciate
and insist upon their rights to their ancestral land and to unite in pursuit of
this goal!
Correction: IEC fund Distribution. I
was informed that not the one-third of IEC monies going to Israeli Arabs, but
‘only’ $9 million, has been allocated to non-Jewish Israelis in the North. (I wonder if
Jewish donors were informed about it at the time they made their contributions
and how much of the $330 million raised by IEC is dedicated to Jewish National
causes in support of Jewish unity and Eretz-Israel, the Land of Israel?)
Hezbollah Used Cluster Rockets. Hezbollah has been accused
of firing scores of "cluster rockets" into northern Israel during the
recent war. According to a report by Human Rights Watch, one Israeli civilian
was killed by cluster rockets. The Israeli police believe 113 of the
projectiles landed in northern Israel during the July-August war were fitted
with cluster bombs. (Why was this information not released before? What do
those fat-assed bureaucrats in Israel’s government do to justify their salary?
We are loosing the Media War and nobody does anything about it! Nobody talks
about the fake al-Qana incident. Why is there is no UN commission? When will we
learn to make our enemies accountable for their actions?)
Peace Offer is Rejected. Prime
Minister Ehud Olmert opened the winter session of the Knesset on Monday with an
invitation to Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora to meet and talk peace.
Siniora's response: 'No thanks.' (Yet, International help and money are going to another
war-mongering Arab state!)
Reuters Cameraman Incited Rock Attacks. The cameraman, Imad
Muhammad Intisar Boghnat, was arrested and charged as a result of violent riots
in the Arab village of Bil'in, in the Modi'in region, on October 6, 2006. A
videotape shows Boghnat encouraging and directing rioters to throw large chunks
of rock at Israeli vehicles in such a way as to cause maximum damage. (This is the
inevitable result of the policy of employing ‘local’ reporters for whom making
anti-Israel news becomes more important than reporting them!)
Quate of the Week:
"Palestine is the front line of the Islamic nations in
their struggle against the aggressive superpowers." - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. – And Israel is the
front line of defence of the Western democracies against Islamic terrorism and
expansionism!
Saudi Arabia to Build Security Fence along Iraqi Border. Saudi Arabia has recently
announced a plan to build an 814-kilometer security fence along its border with
Iraq, in attempt to stop the infiltration of drug and arms smugglers, wanted
terrorists, and illegal immigrants – Like
Israel did. (The first Saudi fence is on the
border with Yemen. Still, I have not heard of any International outcry and
protests from Human rights organizations. Hypocrites!)
Gloom of the Next War. Iranian president said
there is no reason for Israel “the greatest insult to human dignity” to exist
and it would soon disappear. Israel’s chief of staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz warned
Israel to prepare for possible war with Syria, whose missiles present greater
threat to Israel population than Hizballah rockets.
Another ‘friend’ of Israel. Italy to sell Lebanon sophisticated ground-to-air Aster 15
missiles, the only Western surface-to-air missile with an active guidance
system capable of last-minute corrections of targeting at the moment of
interception, to stop Israel’s aerial surveillance of hostile movements of
Hezbollah. (They
could sell those rockets to Hezbollah and al-Qaeda directly. Result would be
the same!)
Hamas Chief
Proud of Abduction. The supreme leader of Hamas, Khaled Meshaal, said “I am proud of this brave operation, referring
to the June 25 border raid in which Cpl. Gilad Shalit was captured and two
other Israeli soldiers were killed. (Hamas is the PA government now! How many more
declarations of war does Israel need to wipe the enemies out and clear the
Jewish land from the filth of Arab terror?)
FBI has no Skill to Fight Terror. Five years
after Arab terrorists attacked the U.S., only 33 FBI agents have even a limited
proficiency in Arabic, and none of them work in the sections of the bureau that
coordinate investigations of international terrorism. (Probably, a deep rooted xenophobia prevents US
security agencies from out sourcing some work-load to Israel. Before WW2 the
knowledge of the German language by Jews was also not utilized –
German-Americans were predominately used!)
Digging Deep for War. The IDF has returned to the Philadelphi Corridor between Gaza and
Egypt. Israeli troops uncovered 13 arms smuggling tunnels exposed in 3 days as the forces advanced along the Gaza Strip's southern
border with Egypt. Most Palestinian arms smuggling tunnels are located
in W. Gaza - out of range of IDF’s Philadelphi operation.
Fake Games. Syria rejected an Israeli
invitation for President Bashar Al Assad to visit Jerusalem. Damascus said that
the gesture from Tel Aviv showed how the Jewish state is in a weak position
following the recent month-long war in Lebanon. (Syrian President made a fake offer of peace
and Israel replied with the fake invitation. When will the Israeli government
stop playing games with the lives and futures of the Jewish people and return
to the path of true Zionism?)
Gaza as Second Lebanon. Iran will arm and train
Hamas’ 6,500-strong rapid deployment force as the Palestinian operational
equivalent of its Lebanese surrogate, the Hizballah, thus gaining control of
two anti-Israeli fronts and promoting the Lebanonization of the Gaza Strip. (Fatah is helped
by USA and Egypt, Hamas by Iran and Syria. Although they have different
ideologies, the aim is the same – the destruction of Israel!)
Jewish Contribution to Humanity.
Israeli
scientists
have taken the standard smoke detector to a new level, creating a device that
alerts those in the area when any biological hazard, harmful bacteria, is in
the air.
Israel Needs a Change of Direction. Likud Chairman and
opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu, speaking at the opening ceremony of the
Knesset, likened the state of the country to a "car travelling on a path
towards an abyss." (Unfortunately,
it is just a cheap political game for him. True change of direction must be
made, based on the concepts of Jewish land, Eretz-Israel, unity and self-respect!)
In his speech Prime Minister Ehud Olmert did not mention of the key issue that
brought him to power: a unilateral pullback from the West Bank. But Olmert was
forced to put the plan on hold after Arab terrorists had abducted Israeli
soldiers in separate cross-border raids. He is still planning his repulsive act
of betrayal, up-rooting Jews from their homes!)
‘Disengagement’ and ‘Conversion’ is still on
Track. Defense Minister Amir
Peretz has given the Yesha Council leadership two weeks to convince outpost
residents to leave their homes voluntarily. After two weeks, he said, the IDF
would forcibly expel Jewish residents from their homes. Peretz noted that U.S.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had raised the issue with him during her
most recent visit to Jerusalem. (Dr Rice did not press Israel to expel Arab terrorists from Jewish
land, but eradicate Jewish patriots from Eretz-Israel. What a pathetic
friendship! Foreign Minister Tzippy Livni said that Jewish "unauthorized
outposts" will be destroyed. I wish that the Kadima party had the same
determination toward the enemies of the Jewish state!)
