PA
Model of Peaceful Co-existence!
A riot broke out early last Thursday morning as Arab men burned tires and
threw stones at Israeli worshippers gathered at Joseph’s tomb in Nablus. Under previous agreements with the PA, Israeli worshippers are supposed
to have free access to religious sites under PA control. In reality, however,
this is not the case. In 2000, immediately after Israeli forces handed over
control of Shechem to the PA, Arab mobs attacked
Joseph's Tomb, ransacking it and desecrating holy items.
PA Assault on
Jewish Right to Western Wall
In
what is being described as yet another example of Palestinian Authority (PA)
denial of the Jewish connection to Jerusalem and the very legitimacy of the
State of Israel, Mahmoud Abbas
has claimed the Western Wall as an Arab and Islamic site. (This denial of Jewish rights was declared before the resumption
of the so-called peace talks and no member of the international anti-Semitic
community is “outraged”!)
Enemy will
Never be Satisfied
Israel will release 26 Palestinian prisoners ahead of
renewed peace talks. But Palestinian prisoners rights groups say that, upon
close inspection, the deal is not the concession the Israelis are touting it to
be. Fuad Al-Khafsh, the
director of Ahrar Center for Prisoners Studies and Human Rights (most
likely paid by UN), said the list was "disappointing for the
detainees, their families and the Palestinian people generally, because it did
not rely on the principle of seniority." (He
prefers release of the terrorists with the fresh Jewish blood on their hands!)
Farcical Negotiations Started with Predictable Confusion
The
US, Israel and the PA resume talks on Wednesday, Aug. 14. PA shunned security
issues, ignoring John Kerry’s proposal for the US
and Israel to determine security arrangements along the Jordan River and the West Bank. Mahmoud
Abbas ruled out any Israeli presence on the West
Bank - a line even more extreme and
non-cooperative than that was taken by Yasser Arafat
in 2000. (Future security of a country is a
corner-stone of any peace negotiation. Enemies of Israel will never allow this basic right to the Jewish
state!)
Fake Outcry and
Condemnation
Secretary of State John
Kerry revealed that he and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas were fully aware (and
presumably agreed) that the Israeli government intended to continue building in
parts of Judea and Samaria which "will not affect the peace map" when
the decision was made to restart talks. As such, despite the "outcry"
by the PA, Abbas is still committed to talks with Israel over the next nine
months, he said.
Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak
There is
something terribly wrong about US international policy: the Obama administration is continuously losing respect and relevance
in the Arab world and Middle East. It
is still supporting the deposed Muslim Brotherhood government, which had been
in the process of imposing an Islamic dictatorship in Egypt, and the Islamic
government of Turkey, a NATO member, which has already neutralised the guardian
of the Turkish secular constitution - the army. The Great Western defender of
democracy is complacent in Islamisation and
destruction of every fibre of a sign of democratic principles in most Muslim
countries!
EU Missing out on Jewish
Ingenuity
Israel's deputy foreign
minister says Israel would rather forego a lucrative research partnership with
the EU worth hundreds of millions of dollars than accept an anti-settlement
clause as part of such a deal. Israel is the only
non-EU country invited to participate in the Horizon2020
program. (Payback is a bitch!)
The
First Step to Re-claiming Kurdistan?
After
Syrian Kurds expelled them from the town of Ras al-Ain, following clashes between Kurdish forces and Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Nusra Front, on
the border with Turkey, in the predominantly Kurdish parts of northeastern
Syria, the president of Iraqi Kurdistan has vowed to defend the large Kurdish
population in neighbouring Syria from Al-Qaeda-linked rebel fighters. (Land of Kurds, Kurdistan, is occupied by five Muslims countries.
Over 25 millions Kurds are denied their right to have their homeland, but nobody
cares! T fake Palestinian people is the major
international priority!)
Israel Creates a New Energy and Water
Alliance
Israel signed an agreement with Greece and Cyprus that promises to link the three countries’
electricity grids via an underwater cable. The three countries will work
together to protect natural gas fields, and have launched a project to
cooperate with treatment of sewage as well as recycling water for use in
farming. Israel’s partnership with Cyprus on natural gas is seen as a challenge to Turkey, which has in threatened Cyprus over gas fields it claims for itself.
Amnesty
International - Usual anti-Israel Bias
Human
rights organization Amnesty International condemned plans to close businesses
owned by asylum seekers from Africa in South Tel Aviv. At the same time, the organisation remains silent about the Lebanese Government’s
crack down on small businesses run by Syrian refugees in the Bekaa Valley.
Terrorists
Attacked Obama's School
As
President Obama offered greetings from the White
House to Muslims celebrating the feast that ends the Islamic holy month of
Ramadan, the Catholic school he attended in Jakarta was hit with a terrorist attack. Two Molotov
cocktails were thrown inside the walls of the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic School in South
Jakarta by an assailant on
a motorcycle
Muslim
Brotherhood Command Hides in Gaza
A
group of six Muslim Brotherhood officials escaped from Egypt into the Gaza Strip to lead an uprising against the
military. The group was headed by Mahmud Izzat Ibrahim, known as the
Brotherhood’s “iron man” and fourth in rank in its hierarchy.
Bigots “Concerned” but would not
Condemn Hamas!
United
Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay urged Hamas in the Gaza
Strip not to carry out planned executions. In
foreign office press release, Foreign Office Minister for the Middle East
Alistair Burt said: “I am deeply concerned at reports of plans to publicly
execute prisoners in Gaza in the coming days.” Amnesty International meanwhile
also called on Hamas not to carry out planned executions after the Muslim
festival of Id al-Fitr.
True Brotherly
Love - 44 Gunned down in Nigeria Mosque
Radical
terrorist group Boko Haram
slays 44 worshipers in Nigeria mosque. Twelve others also killed in simultaneous
attack. (Over 4,400 Muslims were killed by their
Muslims ‘brothers’ during month of Ramadan in Muslim countries!)
True Colour of FIFA
The president of FIFA, Sepp Blatter, threatened to
suspend Israel because of the government’s interference in football. The
threats came when Israel denied representatives of the West Asian Football
Federation (WAFF), including 12 Arab national football associations, permits to
enter the PA territories to play in the WAFF Under-17's Championship. (International anti-Semitic bigots are looking for any
excuse to punish the Jewish state. Has FIFA made the same threats to Arab/
Muslim countries? Quite often Muslim teams refuse to play with Israel. Israel
was not allowed to be a member of Asian group. Israeli, even Jewish, players
are not allowed to enter most Muslim countries.)
Quote of the Week:
“Some
think that the fall and destruction of Israel is only good for Palestinians. However, (such an
event) will be good for all the countries of the region, and one cannot
separate this threat (Israel) from Jordon, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. For this reason, the annihilation of Israel is in the national interest of Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Lebanon.” - This statement by Hassan
Nassrallah, the secretary-general of the Lebanese
terrorist group Hezbollah is supported by Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei
Strange Duality of the Peace
Process
by Avi Bell
If Israel
refuses to negotiate, that proves Israel
is not interested in
peace. If the Palestinians refuse to negotiate, that proves Israel
is not interested in peace, because the Palestinians can see negotiations with Israel
are pointless.
If Israel
makes preconditions to negotiations, that proves Israel
is not interested in peace, because it is trying to avoid negotiations. If the Palestinians make preconditions to negotiations, that proves
Israel is not interested in peace, because the
Palestinians have to force Israel to be serious in the negotiations.
If Israel
makes no offer of peace, that proves Israel
is not interested in peace. If the Palestinians make no offer of peace, that
proves Israel is not interested in peace, because the Palestinians can see that
making offers of peace with Israel
are pointless.
If Israel
makes an offer of peace and the Palestinians reject it, that
proves Israel is not interested in peace, because Israel
is not willing to make the kind of offer the Palestinians would accept.
If Arabs make war but offer to end it (after Israel
retaliated), that proves that Israel
is interested in war and Arabs are interested in peace, because the Arabs
offered peace. If Israel makes war, but offers to end it, that proves that Israel
is interested in war and Arabs are interested in peace, because Israel
made war.
If Arabs attack, that proves Israel
is interested in war and Arabs are interested in peace, because Israel
provoked the Arabs to attack. If Israel
attacks, that proves Israel is interested in war and Arabs are interested in peace, because Israel
attacked.
If Palestinians carry out acts of terrorism, that proves that Israel
is mistreating the Palestinians, because the Palestinians feel they have no
choice but to carry out acts of terrorism. If Palestinians try to carry out
acts of terrorism, but Israel foils them, that proves that Israel
is mistreating the Palestinians, because Israel
is carrying out anti-terror actions against the Palestinians even while there
is no terrorism.
If Palestinians don’t try to carry out acts
of terrorism, that proves that Israel is mistreating the Palestinians, because
the Palestinians are good and innocent and Israel uses terrorism as an excuse
to mistreat Palestinians. (Israel is
positioned in no win situation. Time is up to break the internationally imposed
hypocrisy!)
