Remove Christians Proselytizers from Israel
The Chosen People Ministries, a New-York based messianic ‘Jewish’ non-profit that openly engages in Christian evangelism to Jews, is now targeting Ukrainian refugees fleeing to Israel. The messianic group is in fact taking advantage of the tragic situation in Ukraine by missionizing traumatized refugees while helping them settle in Israel. “Ukrainian families find warm welcome in Israel with Chosen People Ministries,” its website states. (Christian evangelists have been specifically targeting vulnerable Jews, in transition from the former Soviet Union, for over 50 years. When will the spiritual enemies be removed from the Jewish land? When will this stupidity end and self-respect prevail?)
The Friends of Zion Heritage Center and Museum in Jerusalem held an event in honor of the former US vice president on Tuesday, where Pence was presented with the Friends of Zion (FOZ) Award. Many of the top Evangelical leaders that mobilized the vote that elected Donald Trump as president of the United States came together to honor former Vice President Mike Pence for his support of the State of Israel. The organization was commissioned by late President Shimon Peres, who at the time served as international chairman of FOZ. "No matter what, the future holds. I want to ensure that wherever I speak or give a speech I will say out loud that the United States supports Israel and will always stand by Israel," Pence asserted. (Unfortunately, support for Israel from Evangelical Christians often has a pungent smell and strings attached. They have been targeting vulnerable Jews for conversion to Christianity around the world, and even inside of the Jewish state, for many decades. “With a friend like this who needs the enemy”! Why has Mike Pence begun his presidential campaigning in Jerusalem?)

I welcome support from true Christian friends of Israel, but not at the cost of spiritual denigration of Jewish values and destruction of Jewish souls! Christian evangelism is not tolerated in most Muslim countries, as well as in some parts of India. It is time for the government of Israel to show some self-respect, start enforcing at least the existing laws, and remove our spiritual enemies from the Jewish land!
Turkish President Recep Erdogan laid out what he expects from Israel when he treated President Isaac Herzog to a lavish welcome in Ankara on Wednesday to mark the historic end of 14 years of acrimony. Erdogan said: “We have 4 oil drilling ships in the Mediterranean and Black Seas. Relations with Israel in the field of energy must be advanced.” He indicated too that Israel’s offshore gas exports should be piped to Europe through Turkey. (Since Israel discovered gas and oil many Jew-haters have changed their tune.)
A nine-month legislative saga ended when opposition parties joined in passing into law the citizenship bill, which is aimed at tightening immigration controls and making it harder for Palestinians who marry Israeli Arabs to receive citizenship. The new law applies to Israelis of any background who marry any foreign resident. That spouse will not receive citizenship automatically. The bill’s supporters said it was necessary for Israeli security, because a significant percentage of terror attacks conducted by Israeli citizens were carried out by men who received citizenship by marrying Israeli Arabs. (Finally!)
Paul O'Brien a director of Amnesty International USA called on the Jewish community to "collectively change the conversation" to "core Jewish values, which are to be principled and fair and just." Not explicitly naming Israel, he actually said that Israel "shouldn't exist as a Jewish state". He defended a report released last month by his parent organization that accused Israel of carrying out apartheid against Palestinians and called for Israeli officials to face prosecution in international courts. (He would never have suggested that Iran or Saudi Arabia "shouldn't exist as Muslim states", or Bhutan as Buddhist one, nor to 'Christian' countries.)
Ongoing Vienna talks between Western powers and Iran over its nuclear program have been paused, with the EU blaming external factors. Russia sought to link the negotiations, which have been ongoing since early 2021, to sanctions implemented against Moscow for its invasion of Ukraine. No new timetable for resuming the talks has been announced. (‘Procrastination show’ must go on until it is too late.)
IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kohavi landed in Bahrain for a series of meetings with top security officials in the Persian Gulf country, accompanied by Strategic Planning and Cooperation Directorate head Maj.-Gen. Tal Kelman, International Cooperation Division head Effie Defrin, and Research and Analysis Division head Amit Sa’ar. The visit came after Defense Minister Benny Gantz visited Bahrain last month, signing a security cooperation agreement there.
The Biden administration is offering nearly $1 million for groups to investigate alleged human rights abuses in Israel. The State Department's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) is soliciting non-profit groups to apply for grant money up to $987,654 to "strengthen accountability and human rights in Israel and the West Bank and Gaza," "This is disgraceful," Sen. Ted Cruz told the Free Beacon. "The Biden administration wants to use American taxpayer money to subsidize the international NGO campaign to demonize and isolate Israel, which then serves as a basis for anti-Semitic efforts to boycott and wage economic warfare against Israeli Jews. Congress did not appropriate funds for this purpose and has repeatedly condemned such campaigns."
President Isaac Herzog met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, shortly after landing in Ankara. He noted that the meeting with Herzog included a discussion about events in Ukraine and in the Eastern Mediterranean and said he believed “the coming period will bring new opportunities for both regional and bilateral cooperation.” Herzog and Erdogan also discussed Turkey’s relationship with the Hamas terror group. Senior Hamas leaders currently believed to be staying in Turkey, such as Saleh al-Arouri, a top commander of Hamas’s military wing and the terror group’s deputy political chief.
Quote of the Week:
“Many people, especially ignorant people, want to punish you for speaking the truth, for being correct, for being you. Never apologize for being correct, or for being years ahead of your time. If you’re right and you know it, speak your mind. Speak your mind. Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is still the truth.” - Mohandas Gandhi
Message to Christian Friends of Jews
by Steven Shamrak
There are many different Christian churches, groups and movements. Some call themselves Zionists or good and true Christians. Many of them are deeply antagonistic toward mainstream Catholics and Anglicans. And they disassociate themselves from the actions of their church in the past.
Just recently, the Pope, leader of 1.1 billion Catholics, deliberately omitted Israel from the list of countries suffering from Islamic terror in his speech. Following his example, an Anglican archbishop did not mention two Jews as victims of London bombings. Some Church leaders are still advocating divestment from Israel, but not from Muslim countries linked to Islamic terrorism!
We have not been hearing condemnations made by "true Christians" of the anti-Semitic behaviour and Israel-bashing by their Christian brothers in the past and the present. Most of them are silent about Arab terrorism in Israel, anti-Semitic acts in their own countries and anti-Israel discriminatory behaviour of the UN, EU, Red Cross and USA as well. True friendship can be measured only by actions!
The inaction of church leaders and the Christian leadership of the US and European governments against the spreading of Islamic terror is appalling and borders on criminal negligence. For many years they have been ignoring the warnings about Islamic expansionistic ambitions. They ignore the fact that true Islamists hate Christians even more than Jews. Now they are experiencing the result of their duplicity. Europe and Africa are under the flame of Islamic fire, but the hypocrites still are not able to face the reality and are playing the dangerous game of political correctness, ignorance and providing false justifications to basic Islamic hate toward anything that is not Muslim!
From the Jewish point of view, it is difficult to distinguish the true friends among the Christian groups. Most of them claim friendship but actually have sinister motives. The Messianic Christians, for example, consider themselves as 'good Christians'. This is in spite of the fact that the main objective of the Messianic church is to prove the validity of Christian teachings by converting lost Jewish souls to Christianity. They believe, as many before them, that the increase in the number of Jewish Christians is an indication that the Church is G-d's true religion. In the past the forceful conversion of Jews was a preferred method, but proved ineffective.
Unfortunately, many Christian groups and organizations still believe and practice the old traditional theology of hate or misguided envy toward Jews. They ignore the fact that conversion of Jews to Christianity is actually against the will of the G-d and undermines the most important Christian doctrine of the Second coming. It diminishes the chance of all Jews to come to Israel, as He commanded for the arrival of the Jewish Messiah. Effectively, due to deeply imbedded anti-Semitism or pathological jealousy, many branches of the Church have been sabotaging the Second coming of ‘their’ Messiah by evangelising Jews.
I respect any belief system as long as they do not discriminate against others. At the same time, I demand the same respect toward my people, our traditions and our rights from others. True friendship is a two-way street.
Jews welcome moral and political support for Israel from our non-Jewish friends. But it must be given without any ulterior motives. The good Christian friends must not be frustrated when Jews criticize the anti-Semitic behaviour of the Church. Most often, the Church practice and religion have very little in common! If you follow the Bible’s message of love, you are on the right side and have nothing to be concerned about. The bottom line is - your teacher was a Jew and it is difficult to distort his message of love!
