The Operation is Over – War is not Finished (debka.com) Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Hamas faces a new equation: Israel will no longer tolerate rockets in dribs and drabs but will hit back hard for the slightest aggression. Regardless, according to military data, Hamas and Islamic Jihad are still left with a stockpile of at 10,000 more rockets. Hamas is not the Lebanese Hezbollah which, after a resounding defeat in 2006, kept its head down for 15 years. The Palestinian terrorists in contrast won’t turn a hair even if Gaza’s dense population centers are razed to the ground, any more than they did in the face of the devastation wrought by the IDF counter-terror operations of 2008 and 2014. Therefore, the operation maybe is “over but not finished” more is yet to come! Hamas has nonetheless come out of the 11-day confrontation with gains that should not be ignored: 1. Not an inch of Gaza territory fell into Israel’s hands. 2. Israel refrained for committing ground troops to the operation, a fact noted by other enemies, Iran, Hezbollah and the Iraqi Shiite militias operating at home and in Syria. 3. Despite the loss of senior commanders, Hamas and Jihad retained their military cohesion and operational ability. 4. Hamas carried on shooting rockets, withstanding the crushing bombardments by one of the most powerful air forces in the world. About 4,360 attempts to fire rockets at Israel were made during Operation Guardian of the Walls, of which about 680 fell in Gaza and about 280 fell into the sea. 5. Hamas was able to mobilize active support not just among fellow Palestinians in Judea and Samaria but also among Israeli Arabs. At the same time, Arab governments, by and large, were ranged against Hamas in this conflict. 6. Hamas received a lot of moral support from US Democratic party members, including calls to limit weapon sales to Israel. 7. Hamas succeeded in rallying anti-Semitic Arabs in North America and Europe to attack Jews there. Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak International anti-Semites do not care about dignity of Jews! Enemies and so-called friends of Israel completely disregard the fact that both terrorist organizations, Hamas and Fatah, rejected the two-state solution. At the same time, Arabs living in Israel have proven that the one-state solution is also unworkable! Their objective, they have openly declared it multiple times, is destruction of Israel and killing Jews! There are at least two more options that could resolve so-called Palestinian conflict, but no one, including the government of Israel, is willing even consider them. The US is still Delusional about Two-state Solution US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, speaking ahead of a trip to the Middle East, reaffirmed on Sunday Washington's support for a two-state solution as the only way to provide hope to Israelis and Palestinians that they can live "with equal measures of security, of peace and dignity." About 4,360 attempts were made to fire rockets at Israel from Gaza during Operation Guardian of the Walls, of which about 680 fell in Gaza and about 280 fell into the sea. IDF destroyed more than 100 kilometers of Hamas’ defensive underground array – a.k.a. the “metro.” The IDF also claims the scalps of 25 senior Hamas officials and 200 activists - the score was low compared to the early expectations the IDF was projecting. Some 570 rocket launchers and launch pits were hit during the operation to destroy Hamas’ metro tunnel system; and 70 multi-barrel launchers and 35 mortar-related assets were damaged. Hamas Presents Defeat as a Victory Palestinians rallied by the thousands, after a ceasefire took effect in the latest Gaza war, with many viewing it as a costly but clear victory for the Islamic militant group Hamas. Israel vowed to respond with a "new level of force" to any further hostilities. The 11-day war left more than 200 dead and brought widespread destruction of buildings in Gaza, but young men waved Palestinian and Hamas flags, passed out sweets, honked horns and set off fireworks. Like the three previous wars between the bitter enemies, the latest round of fighting ended inconclusively. Israel claimed to have inflicted heavy damage on Hamas with hundreds of bruising airstrikes but once again was unable to halt all rockets. (No other country would allow such a terrorist group to exist, but the Jew-hating world insists that Israel must!) Useful International Anti-Semitic Idiots! World leaders have hailed a ceasefire that took hold in the early hours of Friday morning and vowed to help rebuild Gaza. The United Nations secretary general urged Israel and Gaza’s Hamas rulers to observe the ceasefire and called on global leaders to develop a reconstruction package “that supports the Palestinian people and strengthens their institutions”. (What a waste of the international aid funds! Didn't they do it many times before? Where is the call to help Israel? There is no lack of will to again help the enemy of Israel!) Since the 2005 Disengagement from Gush Katif and the subsequent takeover of the area by the Hamas terror group, over 22,570 rockets and mortars have been fired at Israel. The data also showed that not a single year passed in which Gaza terror groups did not fire rockets at Israeli civilians. Members of the workers’ committee of the Israel Electric Company (IEC) announced that as a gesture of solidarity and support for those suffering under incessant barrages of missiles from Gaza, they will not be repairing power lines leading into Gaza that were damaged due to Hamas’ rocket fire. In addition, the workers stated that they will not resume work on damaged lines until Hamas returns the three Jews being held in Gaza. (When the government is unwilling to make tough decisions, people take over!) The IDF shot down an armed Iranian drone that was approaching the Israeli-Jordanian border, traveling toward the Emek HaMa'ayanot Regional Council in northern Israel. “While we were engaged in these hostilities a few days ago, Iran sent an armed drone from Iraq or from Syria. Iran is not only behind the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza with full funding, but also arms Hamas and Hezbollah – providing the groundwork for terrorist organizations to operate in the Middle East and worldwide,” Netanyahu told German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas. (Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah are at war with Israel! When will the government of Israel have the guts to end this war?) The world media has launched so many anti-Israel propaganda "rockets" that it feels like they far outnumber the real ones that Hamas has launched against civilian in Israel. Even when it reports a true fact, its impact is dulled or even lost by the overriding narrative context in which Israel is at fault and Hamas is either innocent or heroically resisting "settler" oppression. (The Leftist-infested press is unable to be objective, especially in case of Israel and support of Western democracy!) Hamas Bombed Aid from the UN – Took fuel from Israel! Hamas’ mortar attacks on the crossings from Israel into the Gaza Strip while humanitarian supplies and personnel were being brought into Gaza are “unacceptable” and are “preventing vital humanitarian supplies from entering the Strip,” said Lynn Hastings, the UN’s Humanitarian Coordinator in so-called Palestine. There were 40 trucks loaded with food, medical equipment, and humanitarian aid on their way to the crossing. Later on, there was another attempt to allow the convoy to go through. After eight trucks managed to enter, there was another mortar attack and the transfer was again halted. Gaza-based terrorists launched a massive bombardment of Israeli cities and towns in southern Israel on Tuesday, immediately after the IDF concluded the massive transfer of fuel into the Gaza Strip earlier. The transfer of aid into Gaza during the fighting was authorized by Minister of Defense Benny Gantz. (This is beyond ridiculous! Supplying enemies during war with electricity, fuel, etc. –this is idiotic stupidity, bordering with treason!) Islamist Turkey has Shown Its Colours Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Biden of “writing history with your bloody hands in these events of seriously disproportionate attacks on Gaza that have caused the martyrdom of hundreds of thousands of people.” Turning on Austria, Erdogan said the European country should be “cursed” after its government flew an Israeli flag from its chancellery in support of the Jewish state under Hamas rocket fire. (He does not care about fake Palestinians – using them to raise the ‘Islamic’ status of Turkey!) It is Difficult to Convince Democrats to Condemn Hamas Senate Republicans announced a resolution condemning the Hamas attacks on Jerusalem and reaffirming their nation’s “unwavering commitment to Israel,” putting pressure on Democrats amid the party’s bitter divide on the Middle East. President Biden has expressed support for Israel, while leftist Democrats such as Reps. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan have lined up with the Palestinian Authority and denounced the “violence against Palestinians.” (The tradition of Antisemitism is deep in the Democratic party!) There is extensive support for Hamas, the terrorist organization, within Israel’s borders among the Arab-Israeli community, with extreme violence breaking out in mixed Arab/Jewish cities such as Lod, Ramle, and Akko. A new and disturbing development has emerged – that of Arab Israelis taking to social media to express their support for Hamas and their desire to show solidarity with their “Palestinian brothers.” Last week, a general strike has been called for the Arab sector, protesting Israel’s ongoing military operation against Gaza, and many Arab employees working within Israel have informed their employers that they will not be turning up to work. (Many Arab Israelis are the enemies! Jews are afraid to step into Arab towns in Israel.) Israeli Muslims Torched Synagogues, Jewish Homes and Cars Data from the Central District of Fire and Rescue show that Muslims torched 10 synagogues and government institutions, 112 Jewish homes and 849 Jewish-owned cars in the city of Lod in the center of Israel. A total of 673 Jewish homes were vandalized! 28 mosques were exposed as weapons caches, where rocks and Molotov cocktails were prepared and stored. Similarly, 22 Muslim prayer houses were documented being used to incite riots against Jews. Quote of the Week: "The ceasefire agreed upon between Israel and the terrorist organizations in Gaza, mediated by the Egyptians without conditions, proves that despite the backing, patience and heroism that residents of the south have shown for 20 years, Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government do not really want to overthrow Hamas and prefer temporary quiet for the residents of central Israel at the expense of the residents of the Gaza envelope and the south who will continue to suffer from terrorism." - Sderot Mayor Alon Davidi. Lesson of the Six-Day War by Steven Shamrak (June 2007) "On June 5th, 1967, Jordan attacked Israel. Suburbs of Tel Aviv were shelled by artillery. Israel's largest military airfield, Ramat David, was shelled. Jordanian warplanes attacked the central Israeli towns of Netanya and Kfar Saba. Thousands of mortar shells rained down on western Jerusalem, targeting Israel's parliament building and the prime minister's office. Twenty Israelis died in these attacks; 1,000 were wounded; 900 buildings were damaged. Only after coming under fire and sustaining casualties did the Israeli military respond against Jordanian forces in the West Bank." (HonestReporting) "The biggest myth going is that somehow there was not a real and immediate Arab threat, that somehow Israel could have negotiated itself outside the crisis of 1967, and that it wasn't facing an existential threat, or facing any threat at all," said Michael Oren. (Jerusalem Post) Now days, some revisionists of history are trying to turn the glorious victory of Israel against many Arab armies into a failure, calling it a "Hollow Victory" or saying that we are "Paying Price" for Israel's 1967 Victory. What price would Jews pay if Israel was defeated in any previous war? Like former president of Egypt Gamal Abdel Nasser said: “We only need to win once!” Hypocrites are attempting to make Israel's victories look like a source of current problems with PA and most of Muslim world. This approach, to make Jews to feel guilty, is not a new concept. Jews have always been blamed for the faults and problems created by others and Jewish achievements or inventions were brushed off or plagiarized. Our enemies like to see Jews submissive and obedient! At the same time, we ought to admit that Israel made mistakes during and after the previous wars and there is a need to learn from the lesson from the history: 1. In order to achieve our goals and reduce the number of casualties, Israel must set clear objective and choose her own time of engagement with enemies. And, they must be followed through. We must not wait again and again for their move, while our enemies become stronger, restocking arms and training armies, with clear hostile intention toward Israel. 2. Any outside pressure must be ignored. The only reason why Israel have been experiencing the internal Arab terrorism for the past 40 years is because under international pressure Israel did not allow Arabs from Judea, Samaria and Gaza to cross the border with Jordan and Egypt, and leave Jewish land.
