by Elad Benari A senior official in US President Joe Biden’s administration said that Washington shares the concerns voiced by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on the issue of who will rule Gaza after the war. Earlier, Gallant gave a statement in which he demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declare that Israel will not have civilian control of the Gaza Strip after the war, and that there will be a discussion on the possibilities for a governing alternative to Hamas. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh declared that his organization and the (terror-infested, Jew-hating) Palestinian Arab public are the ones who will decide who will rule the Strip in the future. A group calling itself the “Miluimnikim” (reservists) is planning a rally in front of the Azrieli Towers on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv. The group stated: https://www.jewishpress.com/news/israel/idf/reservists-rally-calling-for-gallants-sacking-thursday-7-pm-on-kaplan-street/2024/05/16/ “The same Minister of Defense who was on duty on October 7 chooses to continue with the deadly conception for which we paid with the blood of our brothers, about 1,500 dead. “But no more – we will not be the silver platter on which the Palestinian State will be served. “Only those who fought in Gaza, like us, know that the population in Gaza wants the destruction of Israel and it doesn’t matter if the enemy is called Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, the Islamic Jihad, or ISIS. “The only solution is the recovery of territory, the return of the refugees, and the return of deterrence. Whoever does not understand this and chooses to abandon Israel, let him return the keys tonight.” The Miluimnikm were referring to speech by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in which he openly contradicted Netanyahu’s position on who would rule Gaza on the day after the war, advocating for the PA to take over the strip. “The day after Hamas will only be achieved through the control of Palestinian elements that will be an alternative to Hamas,” Gallant insisted, warning that “This is in Israel’s interest. Not making a decision means actually choosing one of the worst alternatives.” "I am not ready to replace Hamastan with Fatahstan. The first condition for the day after is to eliminate Hamas and do it without excuses. - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. ('Fatahstan' is not the alternative to 'Hamastan'. Both are terrorist organizations dedicated to killing Jews and the destruction of Israel.) "The people of Israel are not willing to be humiliated. The people of Israel are not ready to be led into the Oslo 2 process, which will lead Israel to another disaster. The people of Israel will not agree to hand over Gaza to the control of the Palestinian Terrorist Authority." - Justice Minister Yariv Levin. Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak Over 70% of Gazans (some 1.7 million) are ‘professional’ refugees, maintained by UNRWA since 1949 to delegitimize the only Jewish state. Isn’t it time to find a permanent residence for them, as it has been done for hundreds of millions of real refugees under supervision of UNHCR? There are 57 Muslim countries, including 22 Arab states. They could welcome and provide a secure future for their ‘brothers and sisters’. In addition, there are so many countries around the world who care so 'deeply’ about fake Palestinians. Surely, they could also take some of them! Why don't they? Time to Deal with Hezbollah Minister of Finance and the Chairman of the Religious Zionism party Betzalel Smotrich made a statement from northern Israel: "Give an ultimatum to Hezbollah. If it is not answered in full then launch a defensive attack including ground entry and an Israeli takeover of southern Lebanon," said Smotrich. (Hezbollah routinely launches rocket attacks, targeting civilian communities of northern Israel, and military bases at the Galilee and Golan Heights. Approximately 80,000 Israelis have been evacuated from areas near the border with Lebanon.) There are 70 Tunnels in Rafah Israel has found 700 tunnel shafts and 70 tunnels in Rafah so far, 50 of which cross the border into Egypt. Israel's representative in The Hague reveals the number of smuggling tunnels between Gaza and Sinai: "Hamas has a developed tunnel system in Rafah. About 50 tunnels, that cross into Egyptian territory. Israeli hostages are held there." The ICC Hit another Anti-Israel Low The International Criminal Court's chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, is seeking arrest warrants for Hamas leaders including Ismail Haniyeh and Yayha Sinwar, as well as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Accusations against Hamas terrorist leaders included: extermination, murder, taking hostages, rape and other acts of sexual violence, torture, cruel treatment, outrages upon personal dignity and other inhumane acts. (By putting the Israeli PM on the same warrant with Hamas terrorist leadership the ICC prosecutor made sure that they will not be arrested and prosecuted by ICC for the heinous crimes Hamas have committed. Now it is up to Israel to neutralize them in a due time!) Gantz Gives Priority to Personal Political Game The Prime Minister's Office responded to the ultimatum set by Minister Benny Gantz to the Netanyahu government. "While our heroic soldiers are fighting to destroy the Hamas battalions in Rafah, Gantz chooses to set an ultimatum to the Prime Minister instead of setting an ultimatum to Hamas. If Gantz prefers the national interest and is not looking for an excuse to overthrow the government. The Prime Minister's stance on these crucial issues is clear: Prime Minister Netanyahu is determined to eliminate the Hamas battalions, he opposes the entry of the Palestinian Authority into Gaza and the establishment of a Palestinian state, which will inevitably be a state of terror." Extremist Arab 'Settlers' Violence After Jewish residents extinguished fires lit by Arab mobs on the Rimonim Farm's grazing lands, the perpetrators returned, lit a new blaze, and threw stones at Jews who returned to extinguish it. (Not sanctions are imposed by Biden administration!) A Strong Israel is Vital to the United States More than 90 retired US military generals and admirals have signed a new letter in support of Israel and a strong US-Israel relationship amid heightened tensions between the Biden administration and the Jewish state: "We are very concerned about the security impacts of increasingly strained US-Israel ties as Israel becomes a growing source of domestic division. We therefore feel compelled to declare that a strong Israel is vital to the United States national security, and it is imperative that America unequivocally stand by this indispensable ally.” Israel Cancels Free Trade Deal with Turkey Israel would abolish its free trade agreement with Turkey and impose a 100% tariff on imports from Turkey. "Raising the import tariff on Turkey is a suitable Zionist answer to Erdogan," said Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. "For too many years, the State of Israel struggled with Erdogan's antisemitism. Not on my shift!" Egypt Keeps Rafah Crossing Closed Egypt has rejected an Israeli proposal to work together with Israel to reopen the Rafah Crossing into the Gaza Strip and manage its operation jointly. The Egyptian government demands the crossing be managed only by “Palestinians”, adding that Israel had offered a mechanism for how to manage the crossing after its forces withdraw. Egypt insists the crossing should be managed only by Palestinian authorities. Egypt's refusal to coordinate with Israel is preventing aid trucks from passing through the border, but Egyptian President Abdel al-Fatah al-Sisi blames the Jewish state. Israel's Economy Rebounds Israel's economy recovered sharply in the first quarter of 2024 after Hamas terrorist attack last October. The Central Bureau of Statistics said in an initial estimate is that gross domestic product (GDP) grew an annualised 14.1% in the January to March period. Armed Hamas Terrorists at the UN Complex in Rafah Israel released drone footage showing gunmen around United Nations vehicles and in a complex for the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees in Rafah. The IDF said that the building is a "logistics warehouse compound" and a "central axis" for aid distribution in Gaza. The IDF said that one of the videos shows a man opening fire in the complex. Israel has accused the United Nations Palestinian aid agency, known as UNRWA, of allowing Hamas to use its facilities for terrorist activities. Is Chinese CCP Playing 'Jewish' Card? A new report from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) shows a political activist group linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has played a crucial role in funding and organizing anti-Israel protests that have disrupted college campuses across the US in recent weeks. Though ostensibly focused on Israel, the broader protests are part of a "well-funded initiative driving a revolutionary, anti-government, and anti-capitalist agenda, with leading organizations serving as versatile tools for foreign entities hostile to the US," the report said. Turkey Supports Hamas Terrorists Turkish President criticizes Greek PM for referring to Hamas as a terrorist organization. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday boasted of the fact that more than 1,000 members of the Hamas terrorist organization were being treated in hospitals across Turkey. (Why is Turkey still a member of the NATO?) Against the backdrop of the crisis with Turkey, 83% of the Israeli public thinks it is necessary to boycott and prevent imports of products manufactured in countries that call for a boycott of Israel. The survey shows that 86% of the public believes that Israel's industrial independence should be strengthened. (Turkey and other countries who boycott or severed diplomatic relation with Israel have more to lose from Israel’s retaliation.) Egypt Threatens to Break Peace Treaty with Israel Egypt has again threatened to suspend its 45-year-old peace treaty with Israel if the latter further expands its offensive against Hamas in Rafah. The peace agreement with Jerusalem is a “strategic choice,” said Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry. (Nobody questions the US aid to Egypt that was given in return for the peace treaty with Israel. It was never a real friendship. If Egypt breaks the peace treaty, Israel should take over the Sinai Peninsula again and let fake Palestinians have their state there.) ‘Fog of War’ or the UN's Jew-Hating Syndrome The United Nations now claims that “the fog of war” is to blame for a major overstatement of the number of Gazan children who have been killed in the war. In mid-March, the UN Children’s Fund stated that 13,450 children had been killed in Gaza, citing figures from the Hamas-run Gazan Health Ministry. Those numbers turn out to be off by at least 40%. “When it comes to Israel, it’s clear that the UN’s goal is not accuracy, but rather to immediately seize on any report, no matter how unsubstantiated or even manifestly false, in order to portray Israel as malevolent,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch. (Many Hamas terrorists are between age 15 and 19 and qualify as children! The international press is still religiously reporting fake number of casualties in Gaza provided by Hamas. The IDF reports that close to 12,000 killed in Gaza were terrorists.) Quote of the Week: "We Jews have a secret weapon in our struggle with the Arabs; we have no place to go." - Golda Meir, former Prime minister of Israel. UNRWA Staff Stealing Aid in Gaza There are 13,000 UNRWA employees in Gaza. Some of those UNRWA members joined Hamas terrorists on October 7, taking part in the atrocities inflicted that day, joining in the fun of rape, torture, and murder of Israeli men, women, and children. UNRWA never objects when Hamas hides its rocket launchers and weapons in UNRWA schools and other facilities. Senior UNRWA employees have been stealing food and other humanitarian aid meant for all the people of Gaza, keeping some of what they steal for their own extended families, and selling the rest. This has become such a widespread practice that the people of Gaza are now complaining - no longer afraid to do so - on chatrooms about UNRWA members’ grand theft. UNRWA vs. UNHCR – The Shocking Numbers! (This is 2018 information, but little has changed) Both UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) and the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) are mandated by the UN to aid refugees, but there are some significant differences between how these two organizations spend their money, and thus, how successful and efficient they are at using that money to end the refugee crisis. If one defines success as resolving the refugee’s problems, then UNRWA can only be defined as a complete failure. UNRWA does not try or want to resettle the fake Palestinian refugees, nor help them to move forward with their lives in a host country, where some are already 3rd and 4th generation UN welfare recipients. UNRWA maintains the refugee definition, even for those living in refugee camps within the Palestinian Authority. UNRWA has 4X more staff members than UNHCR, although UNRWA deals with 6X fewer refugees. UNRWA spends twice as much per refugee each year than UNHCR does – and has never resettled even a single refugee. UNHCR: Refugees can be resettled in any third country, with the goal to help them get on with their lives. Children of refugees are not supposed to be considered refugees. UNRWA: There are 4.681 million Arab refugees; however, only 20,000 according to a classified US State Department report. UNHCR: There are 15.4 million refugees; plus 800,000 awaiting refugee status and 12 million stateless people w/o refugee status for a total of 28.2 million refugees. UNRWA: $1 Billion USD; Number of Countries: 5; Staff: 29,000 UNHCR: $3.32 Billion USD; Number of Countries: 123; Staff: 7,200 Conclusion: Shut down UNRWA and transfer the responsibility for resettling fake Palestinian refugees to UNHCR. UNRWA was created as a weapon against Israel.
