Myth of Moderate Muslims.
Here is just an example of the behaviour
and attitude of two major ‘moderate’ Muslim countries. Fundamentally, there is
no difference between them and Iran, Syria or Saudi Arabia.
"Israel
should be barred from the United Nations while it ignores the organization's
calls to stop fighting in Gaza", Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip
Erdogan said. "How is such a country, which totally ignores and does not
implement resolutions of the UN Security Council, allowed to enter through the
gates of the UN?" (No such outrage or calls against current
terror-sponsor states like Iran, Syria, Lebanon , Sudan or Libya in the past.
Turkey's prime minister says he is not an Islamist, but many doubt him even in
his own country. Turkey is illegally occupies northern Cyprus or attacks on
Kurds - No outrage?) Jewish students in Turkey were forced to
participate in demonstrations against Israel during Operation Cast Lead and had to
wear a symbol on their clothing against Israel and say the sentence, "Allah
will punish Israel. A rabbi from the area said the student has been severely
traumatized.
Egypt is the
key to any plan to end smuggling of arms into Gaza , but
university expert, Dr. Michael Widlanski, says that Egyptian President Hosni
Mubarak is a double dealer who cannot be trusted. He warns that smuggling will
continue despite the international community's vow to stop it. (It is not an
eye-opener. Egypt has been playing this anti-Israel game since the Camp David
agreement, but the international community and Israel pretend that Egypt is a
'moderate' Muslim state!) Egyptian police made a sweeping arrest of 350
Muslim Brotherhood. (Egypt uses Hamas, which is part of the Muslim Brotherhood,
against Israel but keeps its own security tight!)
''Waltzing with Bachir'',
the film by Israeli director Ari Folman that just won the award for best
foreign film in Hollywood ...has been banned in Lebanon.
Last week's major events were the withdrawal of
the IDF from Gaza and the
inauguration of Obama, but nothing changed for Pollard and Shalit. They are
still suffering injustice!
NOTE: Pollard has already served almost 24 years of a life sentence
for passing classified information to Israel. Despite valiant efforts by
supporters worldwide, American prisoner Jonathan Pollard was not freed in the
final moments of George Bush's presidency.
Hard to Believe: Israeli defence
minister Ehud Barak (Labor) is optimistic, saying ''things will stay calm for a
long time in the south of the country.'' (Is he
delusional or it is just a political Wishful thinking?)
Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak
In spite of worldwide economic crises,
anti-Israel international hypocrisies are lining up with donations of billions
of dollars to "rebuild" the terrorist's nest in Gaza again. Nobody
wants to know that two thirds of Gaza is in the Sinai and the best way to
resolve the conflict would be to allow all of the population of Gaza to reunite in
Sinai with a fresh chance to rebuild their life in peace over there. The total
population of Sinai is 250,000 people with contiguous land comparable by size
with the Palestinian mandate, including trans-Jordan, which was illegally ceded
from the mandate!
Always too Quick to Apologise. At a security cabinet
meeting, PM Ehud Olmert said, ''in the name of the Israeli government, I want
to express my sadness over the wrongdoings inflicted on civilians, for the pain
that we caused them and for the suffering they and their families have endured
because of the intolerable situation created by the Hamas.'' (Has Hamas apologised for 8 years of bombing the civilian
population in Israel or using the Gazan population as a human shield? Has Gilad
Shalit been released by the Hamas thugs? Israel has nothing to apologise for!)
Internal, Ruthless Hate Amongst Fake Palestinians. Even during the most intense Israeli offensives Hamas continued
to hunt down, torture and kill members of its rival for political control A
Fatah spokesman announced that the movement had evidence of 16 murders of Fatah
members, over 80 crippling shootings and hundreds of home imprisonments carried
out by Hamas. (I am sure that they will be added to
the list of the 'humanitarian casualties'!)
Inability to Learn Perpetuates Suffering. The association of victims
of terrorism, Almagor, called the ceasefire in Gaza a ''historic error.'' It
said that before establishing a ceasefire, the government should have wiped out
the armed wing of the Hamas. (For 60 years, Israel
has had military superiority but has been unwilling to use it to end Arab
terror and reunite Jewish land. Yet again Olmert repeats the mistake of the
last war in Lebanon!)
Islamic Propaganda does not Care about
Facts. A new $60,000 advertising
campaign by the Washington, D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations
claims on that Jesus was a Muslim. A blogger wrote "Apparently they will
say anything to try to get people to convert to Islam. What ever happened to
honesty?" We owe it to our fellow Americans to let them know that Islam
stands for peace," said Altaf Ali, of CAIR's south Florida chapter. (Is that why the
majority of terrorist attacks and the main conflicts around the world are Islam
related?)
Still Living in
a Fairy Tale Land. Germany
has presented a five-point ceasefire plan for
Gaza. It calls for humanitarian aid, the outlawing of all illegal weapons'
smuggling, re-opening of crossing points, aid for reconstruction and
jumpstarting a peace process. (This pretence plan
will never work and they know it! Transfer of the Gazan population to Sinai, as
a means to ending the terror attacks on Israel, is still ignored!)
Quote of the Week: "The loss of
civilian life in Gaza and Israel is a source of
deep concern for me" - the US President Obama stated during election campaign. - Please,
tell it to Hamas! They have been sending rockets to kill Israeli civilians for
years! Israel has enough terrorists to target in Gaza, those who use willing
and martyrdom-eager 'civilians' as human shields.
Political Correctness Gone Mad. The Israeli ambulance
service, Magen David Adom, has defended its decision to open a clinic for Gaza
residents. Jews in Israel and throughout the world protested the decision to give
medical aid to a hostile civilian population. (Has
the Red Crescent done the same for the Jewish victims of Arab terror in Sderot?
Jews all over the world donate toward saving Jewish lives in Israel
by MDA,
not for saving the murderous terror infested population, which hates Jews and
facilitates the destruction of Israel!)
What War? What Ceasefire? It's Election
Time! Shin Bet chief Yuval Diskin told
the cabinet a week ago that Hamas would resume smuggling arms into Gaza within
a few months, despite Israel 's recent destruction of many tunnels used for
this purpose. The good news for the Olmert-Livni-Barak team: Diskin thinks the
smuggling will only resume full force after the Knesset elections. (...and back to the 'circle of violence' and yet more
self-destructive concessions!) Hamas characterized Olmert's statement as
"failure speech number 2," referring to the Second Lebanon War.
"Through his declarations, Olmert attempted to avoid a commission of
inquiry that would look into the war's failure."
This
War Must not be in Vain!
by Steven
Shamrak.
(I originally
wrote this article over two years ago. Unfortunately, the same inept political
idiocy still prevails and prevents the Israeli army from doing its job properly
and ending the Islamic terror against Jews in Israel: A week ago, during a
cabinet meeting, Shin Bet head Yuval Diskin said, ''the damage inflicted on the
Hamas is not permanent. If Israel does not follow the situation closely, in
several months' time, we could go back to square one.'' Israel's politicians
are unable to learn. Like the US President Barak Obama said: "It is time
for change!")
Since the
Israel's withdrawal from Gaza several months ago, Gaza has become a launching
pad for various Arab terror groups. Over 1,000 rockets and an uncountable
number of mortar shells have been fired toward Israel. Last months attack on
the security post and the kidnapping of an Israeli solder by Hamas was the last
straw. If anyone thinks that all of this is just a random act of terror - they
are sadly mistaken.
The coordinated
war against Israel had been waged even before the inception of the Jewish
state. It had been carried out on the fields of battle and in the corridors of
the United Nations (and, before that, the League of Nations). It is a well
co-ordinated effort greased by oil and anti-Semitism!
Immediately
after the military escalation in Gaza, Hezbollah was prepared for military
operations, with well planed attacks on Israeli border patrols and the firing
of hundreds of long-range missiles. At the same time the diplomatic war was
activated. It did not take long for Qatar to prepare and table an anti-Israel
resolution in the U.N. Security Council. Contrary to the belief of many, the US
support for Israel will not last long. U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice
has already urged Israel to exercise restraint, as has President Bush.
Arab neighbours
have forced Israel to fight many wars against them. A while ago the late
president of Egypt Saddat said: "We only need to win one war!"
Fortunately for Jews, Israel has won each of them, so far. Every time Israel
was about to end the conflict with a decisive victory over her Arab enemies, the
international community, including the USA, stepped in and denied Jews victory
by threat of military, economic and political actions against Israel.
The Lebanese
government is responsible for Hezbollah's hostility towards Israel. Since
Israel left Lebanon in 2000, it has disarmed all of the militias except
Hezbollah. The Lebanese army was not deployed in Southern Lebanon and for years
the group was given complete freedom of action. At the same time, the Olmert
government, as the executioner of a Disengagement plan, is completely
responsible for the escalation of Arab terror from Gaza. It is a well known
fact that for Arab Palestinians nothing is going to be enough, even if Israel
gives it all up: Judea, Samaria, Gaza and Jerusalem. But the gutless
self-hating and corrupt Israeli politicians choose to ignore this fact!
For how long do
Jews have to tolerate the stupidity of their own governments, the duplicity and
blatant anti-Semitism of the international community and the openly expressed
intention of Arab countries to destroy Israel? The time has come to use the
military advantage Israel has at the moment to crush our enemies once and for
all. Otherwise, with the rising oil crises and the world's oil dependency, as
well as the possible development of Islamic WMD, it will be too late. Israel
must regain full control over Jewish land and remove terror-infested hostile
populations from our land - Eretz-Israel. Israel must not miss this
opportunity. We must act now! (Does anyone listen in the Knesset?)
