Lebanon has a Choice - Peace or ‘Stone Age’ Israeli defence minister Yoav Gallant warned that Israel could "take Lebanon back to the Stone Age" if necessary to defeat Iran-backed Hezbollah forces. "We don’t want to get into a war, because it’s not good for Israel," Gallant told US government officials during a visit to Washington. "We have the ability to take Lebanon back to the Stone Age, but we don’t want to do it." On Thursday, some 40 rockets were intercepted near the northern Israeli city of Safed. Time to Bring 60K Northern Israelis Home Since the onset of hostilities with Hezbollah nearly nine months ago, Hezbollah’s attacks on northern Israel have claimed the lives of more than two dozen individuals, including both military personnel and civilians. These attacks have also led to the displacement of approximately 60,000 people. As diplomatic talks falter, the Israeli military has employed force to reshape the landscape. It should be noted that this alleged buffer zone constitutes 1/6 of the area of south Lebanon that should have been Hezbollah-free according to the 2006 United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 which states clearly, “No armed forces other than UNIFIL and Lebanese Army will be south of the Litani River.” (Israel has just one option left - to destroy Hezbollah and enforce the UNSC resolution. The Lebanese government and the UN will not do it!) The Iranian UN mission said that if Israel were to launch a war on Hezbollah, “all options, including the full involvement of all resistance fronts, are on the table.” Iran’s “Axis of Resistance,” which includes Hezbollah, Hamas, Yemen’s Houthis, and other groups in Syria and Iraq, has been targeting Israel since October 7. (Isn't it time for the 'Axis of Democracy' to join Israel and defeat the 'Axis of Evil'?) Taliban Offered Thousands of Fighters to Hezbollah Afghanistan’s ruling Taliban has announced their intention to deploy thousands of troops and join forces against Israel with Hezbollah. The Taliban have access to the millions of dollars’ worth of weapons left by US forces when they withdrew from the country in August 2021. Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah said Hezbollah already has more than 100,000 fighters. (Quite an unusual 'unity' of the Sunni Taliban and Shia Iran/Hezbollah.) Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak The US and Europe, in an attempt to save Hezbollah from military might of Israel, asked Hezbollah to ease, not to stop, its strikes on Israel. Israel’s best ‘friends’ are almost apologetic that they will not be able to hold off Israel from executing its battle-ready plans for an offensive into Lebanon, as they have done in Gaza. Lebanon is a sovereign country. It is responsible for letting Hezbollah attack Israel before and after the war in Gaza. Israel has all rights and obligation to end this international travesty! Rockets are still Fired from Gaza A barrage of approximately 20 rockets was fired from Gaza towards the Eshkol Regional Council in southern Israel on Monday morning. Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility. The US House Said No to Hamas' Fake Numbers The US House of Representatives passed an amendment to the annual US State Department appropriations bill that would bar the department from citing casualty figures from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry. All of the House Democratic leadership opposed the measure, except caucus vice chair Ted Lieu (D-Calif.). Two Republicans also voted against it. Rep. Jared Moskowitz, who introduced the bill, said: “It is Hamas’s goal to sell propaganda to the American people, to sell propaganda to the world. Since when is Hamas credible?” Israel's Answer to Antisemitic Sanctions Hours after Canada’s sanctions settlement organization and ‘extremist settlers,’ Israeli security cabinet votes to legalize five towns in Judea and Samaria and to sanction the Palestinian Authority. The towns selected for recognition include Evyatar, Givat Assaf, and Sadeh Efraim in Samaria, and Heletz and Adoraim in Judea. In addition, the decision green lighted tenders for thousands of new homes in Judea and Samaria. Furthermore, the decision returns control from the Palestinian Authority to Israel over a nature reserve in the Judean Desert which watchdog groups have claimed has been damaged by unauthorized Arab construction, in violation of past agreements with Israel. Israeli forces have retrieved millions of documents of captured enemy material. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) employees were involved in the October 7th massacre. Overwhelming evidence show a significant number of UNRWA's Gaza employees serve in the ranks of Hamas and other terror organizations, almost 500 of them in military positions. Over thirty UNRWA facilities in Gaza have been found to contain terror infrastructures such as tunnel shafts. The UNRWA in Gaza is the only UN entity in the world which runs a state-like enterprise employing 13,000 local staff members, managed by a small number of international staff. (It is not just the UN: Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), or Doctors Without Borders, reported that Fadi al-Wadiya was one of its staffers. He was an Islamic Jihad operative involved in developing the terror group’s missiles!) The UN Must Ask Hamas to Improve Safety The UN warned Israel that they will suspend the world body’s aid operations across Gaza unless Israel acts urgently to better protect humanitarian workers. The ultimatum is the latest in a series of UN steps demanding Israel do more to safeguard aid operations from strikes by its forces and to curb growing lawlessness hindering humanitarian workers. The United Nations has also suspended cooperation with the US-built pier since June 9, a day after the Israeli military used the area near the pier in a hostage rescue. (The "lawlessness" in Gaza is Hamas' department. Israel conducts war against terror. The 'Ugly Nazi' is not so vocal about its 'humanitarian work' in Ukraine, Myanmar, Sudan, Kongo, Ethiopia, etc. wars.) Israel Moves to Locally Produced Weapons For months, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been insisting on the need for Israel to locally develop and manufacture its own arms. Apparently, the Defence Ministry has been working on the issue. The ministry’s Department of Production and Procurement (DOPP) has spent NIS 30 billion on local procurement since the outbreak of the war. At least NIS 16.4 billion was spent on defence equipment, ammunition and weapons; NIS 100 million has been spent on drones, and NIS 920 million spent on computer equipment. Residents of the Gaza Strip are accusing senior Hamas officials of working with criminal gangs to steal humanitarian aid and even imposing heavy taxes on the deliveries of humanitarian aid. Hamas operatives, often out of uniform, looting aid trucks arriving from the Kerem Shalom crossing carrying items from Egypt, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. More than 1,000 truckloads of undelivered aid have piled up on the Gazan side of the Kerem Shalom border crossing as drivers refuse to make the risky journey. UN Chief is an Accomplice to Terror Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, ripped UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and called on him to resign. “Since October 7th, the Secretary General essentially justified the massacre by saying it did not happen ‘in a vacuum’. He has focused only on pressuring Israel instead of Hamas. Not once has he demanded the designation of Hamas as a terrorist organization. He refused to include Hamas in the list of organizations involved in sexual violence even after it was proven. He only convened the UN Security Council for the people of Gaza, whilst completely ignoring Israel and the hostages. His sole aim has been to help Hamas survive this war," said Erdan. Quote of the Week: "We demand that all Hostages taken October 7th from Israel, and being held in Gaza, be released immediately, including eight Americans, and Citizens from over twenty other countries, so that the war can come to an end. PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!" - Former US President Donald Trump called on his followers to watch the film, "Screams Before Silence," which deals with the sexual crimes of Hamas on October 7 – For 8 months most countries have kept silence about their citizens, who were kidnaped by Hamas and still are kept as hostages. Many of them are still voting against Israel in the UN. Sinai Option – the Road to Permanent Peace by Steven Shamrak Not long ago, most parts of the Middle East, including the area designated later as the British Mandate of Palestine and the entire Sinai Peninsula, were desolate, arid landmasses, not belonging to any country. It was a no man’s land with which Jews had an unbroken spiritual and historical bond for 2000 years! After the defeat of the Ottoman Empire in World War 1, the League of Nations created a Mandate system, appointing new masters, Britain and France. This laid the foundations of the current Arab-Israel conflict! Trans-Jordan was the part of the Palestinian Mandate which was allocated for the creation of a Jewish state in 1922, in accordance with the Balfour Declaration. Its separation from the Mandate was an illegal act! Unfortunately, the dominant imperial powers, Britain and France, who controlled the League of Nations, used it to rubber-stamp their shady deals at the time. As a result of the deal, Britain secured financial interests in the Suez Canal; the Sinai was illegally given to Egypt by the British with the permission of King Hussein of Hejaz and Nejd, now Saudi Arabia. In return, Britain transferred control of the land east of the river Jordan to Abdullah, son of Hussein bin Ali, Sharif of Mecca. Control of the Golan Heights was ceded to the French-run Syrian Mandate. In exchange, the United Kingdom got control of newly discovered oil fields in Kirkuk. The creation of a united Arab kingdom, Caliphate, and the Jewish state was proposed and accepted by both Arab and Jewish leaders over 100 years ago! This would bring permanent peace to Jews and Arabs, who could then live with dignity in their own countries. Britain, France, and the League of Nations have deliberately sabotaged, ignored, and disallowed this. The United Nations has been artificially keeping this ugly status quo! Since its independence, Israel has fought many wars with its Arab neighbours; signed numerous cease-fires (so-called Hudnas - temporary "calm" or "quiet"), and even peace agreements. All those efforts have not brought about any permanent solution to the endless terror Israeli/Jewish society has been enduring daily. The Sinai option – the transfer of all the so-called Palestinians from the land that used to be called the “Palestinian Mandate” to the Sinai Peninsula – is the Road to Permanent Peace! The Sinai option will separate the two entirely incompatible communities, and will create an environment conducive to the development of a new nation totally independent of Israel. 1. The Sinai Peninsula is a contiguous land which is comparable in size to the entire Palestinian Mandate: Israel, Gaza, Judea, Samaria, Golan Heights, and Jordan! 2. It will provide so-called Palestinians with a contiguous landmass. Isn’t that what the PA is demanding? 3. It will give Arabs full territorial, financial, military, political, and religious control over the land and its natural resources, as well as their population. There will be no dependency on Israel! 4. The new entity will be accountable for its actions in accordance with international law. 5. Israel will be able to securely control its border with the new state, and keep it accountable for any terror activity. 6. All anti-Israel terrorist organisations and supporting population will be removed from the Jewish lands. This plan is also relatively easy to implement. Several years ago, during the breakout of violence on the Sinai border with Egypt, almost half of Gaza’s population went to Sinai and came back in just two days. This is proof that the Sinai Option can be swiftly implemented by Israel when an opportunity presents itself! 1. There are only around 250,000 people living in the Sinai today, predominantly Bedouins. 2. The SINAI OPTION will resolve the so-called Palestinian refugee question, as they can be easily re-settled in the Sinai. (Note: Over 70% of Jordan’s population is so-called Palestinians - others are decedents of the refuges from Saudi Arabia.) 3. For many decades (over 70 years) the international community has been wasting/spending billions of dollars on the maintenance of the Israel-Palestinian conflict. The SINAI OPTION offers the opportunity for investment in the permanent resolution of the conflict. Those billions of dollars can be productively used to establish a homeland for so-called Palestinian refugees and will be available to alleviate the suffering of many real refugees over the world! 4. Population transfers were successfully implemented before and after the adoption of the Fourth Geneva Convention resolution, 1949. In fact, Israel is the only country this resolution is targeting - to prevent the transfer of the fake Palestinian population from Jewish land after the War of Independence! 5. It will create investment opportunities and would be of great benefit to Egypt, as well as a financial bonanza for those Palestinians who are currently living in Judea, Samaria, Gaza, and Jordan. 6. It will improve the lifestyle and living conditions, and bring peace, stability, and prosperity not just to so-called Palestinians, but to the entire Middle East region – including the Arabs states and the people of Israel! This will be the beginning of the process of ending the occupation of Jewish land by enemies, and establishing true and permanent peace in Israel - free of terror! The new entity can be either part of Egypt or becomes another independent state. The plan can be implemented humanely and gradually under the supervision of the international community or Israel can execute it unilaterally by force when the Arab enemies of the Jewish state start the next war or commit a hideous act of terror against the Israeli population. Israel must be ready to implement the SINAI OPTION at any time! This is the only way toward permanent peace in the region and fulfilment of the 2000-year-old commandment and inspiration of Jewish people – the return to the G-d given land of our ancestors! The International community and Arab and Muslim countries insist that they want peace in the Middle East! Why don’t they even want to hear about this alternative plan?
