The
campaign of rock-throwing and other acts of violence and intimidation has been
targeting Jews in Eastern sections of Jerusalem - areas the Palestinians claim
as a future capital. The Palestinian claim has been bolstered by Obama
administration behind-the-scenes support.
Netanyahu
lashed out at the international community for failing to condemn PA support of
terrorism. “The (car) attack in Jerusalem was supported by the head of the
Palestinian Authority, Abu Mazen (Abbas),” Netanyahu said.
“(Abbas)
also praises the murderers and is close to the organization that the terrorists
belong to -- Hamas. We are encountering weakness from the international
community against these actions from the Palestinian Authority president. They
are not willing to say two words, or even one word of criticism against him,”
the Israeli prime minister said.
Over
the past few weeks, Arabs have engaged in a systemic campaign of rock throwing
at Jerusalem’s light-rail system, attacking train cars as they pass through
Eastern Jerusalem neighborhoods.
UN
political chief Jeffrey Feltman warned in an emergency meeting of the Security
Council on Wednesday that Israel's plans for further settlements in east
Jerusalem threaten the viability of the future Palestinian state. Close ally
the United States also warned against Israel's plans. The council met at the
request of member Jordan on behalf of the Palestinians, who are insisting upon
a halt to such settlement efforts. (How many emergency meetings has the
UN had to discuss Russian aggression against Ukraine, Chinese intrusion into
territorial waters of her neighbors, the Ebola pandemic, the rise of Islamic
State? Only Israel is the subject of such ‘special’ attention!)
Israel has the Right to Build in Jerusalem
Prime
Minister Netanyahu opened the Knesset's winter session with a wide-ranging
speech emphasizing the country's security concerns and Israeli sovereignty over
Jerusalem.
The
prime minister reiterated that terrorism does not come from Jerusalem
construction it "comes from the desire of our enemies for us not to be
here at all."
The
prime minister further stated that "the Palestinians must have a desire
for peace as well, and unfortunately I see no such desire."
The
Israeli leader subtly criticized the American administration's priorities
following their focus on the threat posed by radical Islamist rebels at the
expense of the negotiations with Iran. "To defeat the Islamic State and
leave Iran as a threshold-state is to win the battle but lose the war."
Rocket Test Performed by Hamas
A rocket
from Gaza was fired on Friday night towards the Eshkol region in southern
Israel. The rocket was detected by the IDF’s tracking system. The IDF initially
claimed that the rocket had fell in Gaza, but it was later discovered that the
rocket had flown over the border.

State Department: Jewish Homes 'Incompatible with Peace'
The United States Monday blasted
Israel for pledging to build 1,000 more Jewish homes in Jerusalem,
saying any such move would be "incompatible" with peace
efforts. Washington repeatedly condemns
moves to build Jewish homes in Jerusalem, as well as in Judea and Samaria -
despite ample evidence that both would solve a fatally deepening housing crisis
in an area that's 90% unpopulated.
"We continue to make our position
absolutely clear that we view settlement activity
as illegitimate and unequivocally oppose unilateral steps that prejudge
the future of Jerusalem," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told
reporters. (Is constant terror attacks on Jews by PA
terrorists compatible with peace? The peace process is a fake! Have the courage
to admit it.)
Move
to Limit Power of anti-Zionist/Leftist High Court
The
Ministerial Committee on Legislation approved a bill submitted by MK Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home) that
would enable the Knesset to override a High Court decision to strike down a law
it had previously legislated. Justice Minister Tzipi Livni (Labor) filed an appeal against it. This means that
the legislation process will be frozen until the entire government discusses
the bill and approves it.

Christians are Enemy No. 1 of Islam
(The
Western anti-Semites are blinded by their hate toward Jews and in spite of so
many indications and direct warnings refuse to face the truth that they are,
not Jews, the main target of annihilation! Killing “infidels” or converting
them to Islam has been the main objective of Al Qaida and of ISIL now -
Christians first. ISIL did not invent this doctrine - it is in Quran! The
policy of religious persecution is widely practiced in all Muslim countries.)
