Jewish Destiny or Iron Dome?

by Moshe Feiglin

Good intention but still shy from the true Jewish national goal!

The Israeli crisis is not on the continuum between Right and Left. It is on the continuum between Israelis and their Jewish identity.

…Everyone is angry at Netanyahu now for signing the cease-fire. But Netanyahu's predicament is a precise reflection of post-Oslo Israeli society. If Netanyahu had ordered a ground invasion of Gaza, soldiers would have been killed. After a short period of time he would have pulled the troops out of Gaza without significant achievements. After all, he had no intention of remaining. The retreat after many more fatalities would have ignited much more virulent criticism.

To remain in Gaza, we first have to renounce the very essence of the idea of partitioning this Land. We have to internalise that this is our Land - exclusively. We must - on a national scale - return to the Land of Israel and our Jewish identity. We must beg forgiveness from the Jews expelled from Gush Katif and rebuild their towns and villages with the forces that destroyed them - and bring them back to their rightful place with an honour guard.

We must vote with our feet, declaring to all that this is our Land, proving to our enemies that this is NOT their land. Most important: We must expel the Moslem wakf from the Temple Mount and restore exclusive Israeli sovereignty over the Mount - Judaism's most holy site. We must encourage Jews to ascend the Temple Mount after the proper halachic preparations and to actualise their sovereignty over the beating heart of the Jewish Nation…

Where is self-Respect? Only Shallow Threats!

Two days before the vote in the UN on the PA's statehood bid, Israel transferred 200 million shekels to the PA to pay its employees. Only a few days before, Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said: “If the Palestinian Authority thinks it will attack us in the UN in such a harsh way and will continue to benefit from the cooperation with us, I think that some surprises await it.”

“Ugly Nothing” has Done it Again!

Israel Stands Alone - Only Eight Decent Countries in UN!

The vote was taken at a meeting of the UN, with 138 countries voting in favour of the upgrade. Only nine countries, including Israel, voted against it and 41 others abstained.

Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak

The Western democracies will be defeated not by Islamic terrorist attacks, but by the blackmail of Muslim voters! Recent wave of Islamic migration to the West is part of a global plan of stealth colonisation and destruction of infidels’ way of life. Step by step, they rot our fundamental values and force self-serving, gutless and corrupt politicians to bow to Islamic demands. The change of voting position by Australia at the last week’s UN resolution on the PA’s status is just the latest example. The French government has sold its soul to Arab countries a long time ago. Anti-Semitism is still a main motivating factor of France and most the UN members!

Muslim Brotherhood Urged “Holy War” with Israel

The top leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood denounced peace efforts with Israel and urged a holy war to liberate PA controlled territories one day after the country’s president, who is a member of the movement, mediated a cease-fire between Israelis and Hamas. “The enemy knows nothing but the language of force,” said Mohammed Badei. “Be aware of the game of grand deception with which they depict peace accords.” (In the international anti-Semitic environment this old tactic - blame Jews for everything, including own idiocy - still works well. Arabs/Muslims do not want peace – the destruction of Israel is their aim!)

“Magic Wand” Test a Success

On the heels of the very successful performance of “Iron Dome” during Operation Pillar of Defence, the IDF on Sunday tested yet another missile defence system, “Magic Wand,” also known as David's Sling, designed to shoot down more sophisticated long-range missiles with guidance systems, such as cruise missiles, fired at Israel.

Israel’s Islamic Terrorists - Enemy Within

Israeli authorities arrested an Arab Israeli, connected to the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist groups, who planted a bomb on a bus in Tel Aviv that wounded 27 people. A Palestinian terrorist cell based in the West Bank village of Beit Lakiya sent the man to put a bomb connected to a mobile phone on the Tel Aviv bus. (Peace will come to Israel only after all enemies are removed from all Jewish land. It is easier and less painful to defend external borders!)

Poll: Bibi, Lieberman Still Ahead

The Pillar of Defence counter-terror operation in Gaza and subsequent ceasefire with Hamas, in spite of its unpopularity in Israel, did not hurt Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in the polls. The Likud Beyteinu party, formed recently in a merger between Netanyahu’s Likud and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s Yisrael Beyteinu, is still in the lead with 37 seats. The political right remains on course to get a solid Knesset majority of 70 seats. (The question is - will they be able to implement a Zionist agenda after the next election?)

Iran is Buying anti-Israel Allies

Iran is trying to surround Israel on three sides with its “axis of evil” by offering free oil to Jordan. Iran and Syria, through its Hizbullah ally, threatens Israel on the northern border, and the Hamas-Muslim Brotherhood alliance south of the border allowed massive rocket and missile attacks on Israel.

Was Israel Bullied to the Ceasefire by Super Powers?

The Russian Black Sea Fleet's naval task force has been ordered to remain in the eastern Mediterranean ready to evacuate Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip. Moscow used the same pretext as Washington, readiness to evacuate nationals in an emergency, to account for the presence last week of the USS Iwo Jima and two other warships in the East Mediterranean.

Reshuffling of Political Rats/Left

Seven Knesset members who belong to the Kadima party have filed a request to split off from the party and form a Knesset faction affiliated with Tzipi Livni’s new political party. Kadima is expected to disappear or come close to it in the coming elections. The MKs’ move could bring Livni more than one million shekels in campaign funding. Existing parties’ spending is based on the number of current MKs they boast. (Why is Israel’s future and survival still based on egocentric, self-serving personalities? Livni’s new party “The Movement”, like “Kadima” it is advancing nowhere!)

Iran Arrested Group of 'Zionists'?

Iran's intelligence ministry has arrested people planning bomb attacks. According to Iranian state television's website "These elements, led by Western-Zionist intelligence services, sought to commit other acts of sabotage, which were foiled." Although, Iranian stated that "a significant amount of explosives materials and items sent from a country in the Persian Gulf area." Iran periodically announces the capture of alleged US or Israeli spies, and often no further information is released. (Delusional Jew-haters see threat of Zionism everywhere! Instead of dealing with their own problems they blame Jews for everything.)

One Out, More Political Idiots Need to Quit!

Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak has announced that he is quitting politics. His surprise move precedes Israel's January election. Opinion surveys had predicted a poor showing for Barak's party, Atzmaut (meaning "Independence"). In September, Barak had suggested that Israel should pull out of much of Judea and Samaria if a peace deal with the PA remained out of reach. (He was probably a good commando, but bad politician - for the future of the Jewish state!)

Syrian Rebels ‘Work’ for Israel

In a resounding blow to Bashar Assad’s army’s combat capabilities against external enemies, Syrian rebels destroyed his key electronic warning radar station facing Israel. This has blinded Syrian air defence and missile forces, as well as their ability to go to war against Israel, Jordan or Saudi Arabia. Hizballah has also lost its primary source of intelligence for an anti-Israel offensive.

Quote(s) of the Week:

"We don't want war but there are people all the time shooting at Israel and we are quiet - we stay quiet - and the world doesn't (want to) see the truth." - Rafel Moshe, resident of Ashkelon

“Palestine, from the river to the sea, from the north to the south, it is my land. And the land of my fathers and grandfathers, inhabited by the Palestinian people for a long time ago. This is my land, my right.” - Khaled Mashaal, Hamas leader, In an interview with CNN - Their vision of the map of proposed state is clear - destruction of Israel - they don’t even hide it!

Demise of the Israeli Left

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

Resignation of Defense Minister Ehud Barak from politics is another crack in the foundations of the centre-left, which has been in a state of denial ever before the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif and other Jewish communities in Gaza and northern Samaria in 2005.

Buoyed by a largely centre-left Israeli and foreign media, which have done all but openly campaign against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, the Labor and Kadima parties have been grasping a dead limb that props up Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas as a “peace partner.” The centre-left parties feed themselves on feeling good over support of the international community to divide Jerusalem and rid Judea and Samaria of Jews.

At the same time, the truth has been oozing out of a package of illusions designed and produced under the Oslo Accords and signed by the Labor government's Peres-Rabin duet.

Every time the Israeli government, whether under Ariel Sharon before he ditched his nationalist policy and formed Kadima, or under Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, let Abbas off the hook on a commitment in the Accords, the United States and media termed it a “good will concession.”

Blatant discrimination against nationalists has been highlighted in court lawsuits that have exposed police violence against youth for their presence at outposts slated for destruction in the middle of the night, while a hands-off policy generally has been applied to “social justice” protesters illegally blocking highways.

Similarly, the judicial system until recently has upheld wholesale discrimination in favour of illegal Arab houses and Bedouin "unrecognised villages " while rushing to approve demolitions of "illegal" Jewish homes that were built with government approval but without the required signature of approval by none other than Barak.

…Israeli media, a major source for news and opinion for foreign media, repeatedly were silent while police expelled women and children in the middle of the night from their homes. The same media were all over themselves during the 2005 protests against the planned expulsions, interviewing Child Welfare officials about the "abuse" of babies accompanying their mothers in 100-degree heat.

…More than 15,000 rockets and missiles later, Barak’s resignation is a political admission that the centre-left really has no policy and no ideology except to be in the opposition, which is where it apparently will remain for quite a while.
