Israel is a Sovereign State - Good Advice from UN Official

(The Lesson is - Behave Like One!)

Nickolay Mladenov carries the title of special coordinator for the Middle East peace process and personal representative of the UN secretary-general to the PLO and the PA.

Anybody who thinks it is possible to get Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and PA President Mahmoud Abbas in a room to negotiate a comprehensive deal is “daydreaming,” said Nickolay...

With these comments he joined a growing list of international leaders, including most recently German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who have said they believe a comprehensive agreement is not ripe now.

Mladenov said he did not feel the world always gets the real sense of insecurity felt in Israel, “because very few countries in the world have to live with the daily threat of the risks that people here face.”

…Asked whether he felt Israel was treated fairly at the UN, he replied, “Not always.”

As to how this could be changed, he suggested talking “to your Foreign Ministry about that, not me. You are a sovereign state, you have your foreign policy, you have your foreign policy establishment, it is their job to present your views to the world, it is not my job to present them.” (This is the major problem Israel has - We have got part of our land back, but Israeli political leadership has not been able to leave the ‘galut’ mentality back in Europe and act as a free and independent state!)

Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak

Over 60% of all resolutions adopted by the United Nations are related to Israel, mainly against the Jewish state! At the same time, Israel has not held any high ranking posts in the United Nations and has been barred from many international committees. This is an anti-Semitic trade-mark of the ‘Ugly Nazi’!

Replace Empty Promises with Decisive Actions!

Shortly before the lethal Rami Levy stabbing, Netanyahu meets families of terror victims and vows 'we will defeat this terror wave.' "Your stories are heart breaking. For 100 years we are in a war against terror," said Netanyahu. "All the time we are fighting and winning. This wave we will defeat as well." (It is time for decisive victory – Reunite Eretz-Israel and remove enemies from Jewish land!)

Obama Visit Cuba to Avoid Netanyahu?

Obama is to be the first US President in 80 years to visit Cuba, but the timing of the visit means he will miss AIPAC, Netanyahu in US.

S-300 is now en route to Iran from Russia

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hossein Jaberi Ansari on Monday said that a shipment of advanced Russian S-300 missile defense systems is currently on its way to Iran.

The 'FREIDLY' Backstabbing

A newly enforced US Customs policy extended use of 1995 law, which originally referred to Palestinian-made goods, to include Israelis in Judea and Samaria.

Let Israeli Jews Fight Arab Terror

More skilled citizens with guns are needed to back up police officers said Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan. MK Amir Ohana (Likud) said "we cannot accept a situation in which citizens of Israel are defending themselves in the street with umbrellas and shopping carts." A significant percentage of terror attacks have been foiled by armed civilians and not by security personnel.

The US is still Playing Delusional Duplicity Game!

Visiting Israel, Samantha Power says US will continue to pursue two-state solution even if the situation is not currently conducive to it. At the same time, the US ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, accused the world body of harboring a bias against Israel. “Bias has extended well beyond Israel as a country, Israel as an idea,” she said.

PA: No more negotiations with Israel

In an unprecedented statement Palestinian Authority (PA) Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki explicitly rejected the possibility of renewed direct negotiations with Israel – ever: “We will never go back and sit again in direct Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.” (Why should they, when the anti-Semitic world support them just for being enemy of Jewish state?)

Saving American Heritage!

Billionaire businessman and philanthropist David Rubenstein has donated $18.5 million to repair and restore the Lincoln Memorial.

Press Returns to Old Tricks?

Washington Post reporters William Booth and Sufian Taha were detained for interrogation by Border Police at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, on suspicion that they attempted to stage a riot by Arab youths there. Booth has a history of anti-Israel bias, habitually pointing the finger strictly at Israel. The two were released shortly. (Not even deported! After so many anti-Israel biases that have been committed by media Israel still does not have laws to punish reporters and news organizations for their anti-Semitic bigotry!)

Zion Square, a central and historic square in Jerusalem, is to be renamed Tolerance Square in memory of Shira Banki, a young woman who was murdered by a crazed zealot during a "gay pride parade" in July of 2015. (Any lame excuse is used for a stupid anti-Zionist act by the Israeli political establishment!)

A major backer of Harvard Law School has stopped sponsoring student events after its donation helped pay for a discussion supporting an independent Palestinian state. In 2012, the international law firm Milbank promised Harvard $1 million over five years to pay for scholarly conferences organized by law students.

Quote of the Week:

"This is the Jewish nation, the nation of Israel – and we, the Christians, must protect her, and protect the freedoms we Christians have here in Israel. We Christians should be protecting this holy land, which is the source of the Christian faith.” - Gabriel Naddaf, a spokesman for the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, speaking before the European Parliament for an emergency – Instead, anti-Semitic Europe has been actively helping Arabs to destroy the Jewish state!

Expulsion of Jews from Muslim Countries – No ‘Outrage’!

by Richard Mather, JMA editor.

One of the untold stories of the upheaval in the Middle East is the Jewish Nakba (Arabic for catastrophe) – the massacres and expulsion and/or flight of between 850,000 and 1,000,000 Jews from Arab and Muslim countries in the months and years following the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine in November 1947. Many of the expelled Jewish communities in North Africa and the Middle East dated back 2,500 years. That’s around two millennia before the rise of Islam.

The violence against “the Jews of Islam” was deliberate and vicious. Massacres, mutilations, rape, property confiscation and deportations were commonplace. Millions of Jews had no choice but to seek shelter in Israel or elsewhere. The Jewish Nakba has been largely forgotten, partly because most refugees were absorbed by Israel and partly because Arab states have chosen to ignore it.

Today, about 50% of Jews in Israel have Arabic ancestry because of the exodus. Not surprisingly, Jews who have experienced Arab violence and Muslim anti-Semitism are hostile to the idea of a Palestinian state. As such, they tend to vote for Likud, the major right-wing party in Israel.

Today, there are fewer than 9,000 Jews in the Arab and Muslim world. In Libya, for example, the Jewish community no longer exists.

There is clear evidence that shows the Jewish Nakba was a deliberate and planned act of ethnic cleansing. According to the World Organization of Jews from Arab Countries, the Jewish exodus was a policy decision taken by the Arab League. This view has been endorsed by the Jewish advocacy group Justice for Jews from Arab Countries. (But it was not condemned by the United Nations, ‘Jew-loving’ Europeans and the United States! They still pretend that it did not happen)

Even before the UN vote in 1947, the Arab League had endorsed the persecution of Jews. The fact that riots and massacres broke out across the Arab world on the same day (November 30, 1947) also suggests a degree of planning.

Indeed, the Arab League met in Syria in 1946 and Lebanon in 1947, and agreed a draft plan to rob their Jews of their property, threaten them with imprisonment and expel the impoverished Jews… (For more information click on headline link)
