IDF Must not Act Like British Army

www.israelnationalnews.com

Safed Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu criticizes IDF for warning against revenge attacks following murder of Aviad Nir, 28, and his father Shai Silas Nigreker, 60, in Huwara. "After the terrible murder of a father and son in cold blood in Huwara, on a central axis where thousands of residents pass every day from dozens of localities - the IDF spokesman issues two announcements: one - what are the Jews doing in Huwara, and the second - that Jews may not avenge the spilled blood. What is the IDF spokesman's problem? What, you are the British army?"

"We are not in the era of the British and the IDF is not a British army. We expect the IDF to act like a Jewish army. 'I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them, never turning back until they were consumed' (Psalm 18 Verse 38). Not to understand them, not to contain them, and nothing else. We expect the IDF to act," Rabbi Eliyahu said.

"There were riots by Arabs against Jews a century ago as well. It is said about Rabbi Kook, that following these riots he did not agree to shake hands with the officers of the British army and said: “The blood of the murdered is on your hands, you did not act to stop it. You should act in an active manner so that it doesn't happen, you know there will be a murder, why are you sitting quietly?”

This is the tenth terror attack in Huwara this year. Six of the terror attacks were shooting attacks, two were ramming attacks, and two were stabbing attacks. Four Israelis have been murdered in Huwara in the past eight months, and eight others were injured. (When will it be ENOUGH? Sometimes it feels that the IDF and Police care more about our enemies and are unwilling to change the ugly status quo. Why is appeasement of Israel-haters and Jew-haters] still main priority?)

Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak

We ought to admit that Israel made mistakes during and after the previous wars and there is a need to learn from the lesson of history:

1. In order to achieve our goals and reduce the number of casualties, Israel must set clear objectives and choose her own time of engagement with enemies. And, they must be followed through. We must not wait again and again for their move, while our enemies become stronger, restocking arms and training armies, with clear hostile intention toward Israel.

2. Any outside pressure must be ignored. The only reason why Israel have been experiencing internal Arab terrorism for the past 40 years is because under international pressure Israel did not allow Arabs from Judea, Samaria and Gaza to cross the border with Jordan and Egypt, and leave Jewish land.

The White House Pushing Aid to the PA

President Biden pressed forward with plans to allocate hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to the PA despite concerns within the administration that those funds could end up supporting the Iran-backed terror group Hamas. The US State Department officials asked the Treasury Department to exempt them from laws barring the United States from sending funds, $360 million that were cut off during the Trump administration. The PA and Hamas encourage and promote terrorism through its “pay for slay” program, which provides money to terrorists and their families.

Strengthening Judea and Samaria

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Missions Minister Orit Strock are spearheading a 670 million shekels ($180 million) initiative with the stated goal of strengthening “civilian resilience” in Jewish communities, living under the threat of Arab terrorism in Judea and Samaria.

The US is Silent on Abbas Sacking 12 Governors

The US Office of Palestinian Affairs, whose offices are located at the American Embassy to Israel in Jerusalem but which is an entirely separate institution, had “no comment” on Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas’s firing this month of 12 regional governors. The White House, State Department and US National Security Council also did not comment on the issue. (The US is not concerned about democracy of the Fake Palestinian never existed state. Antisemites are only 'care' about how to denigrate Jews! At the same time, Biden administration claims that the elected government of Israel is “undemocratic”, and is supporting the people who want to overthrow it.)

Enemies are United Against Israel

Egyptian and Jordanian leaders, while meeting with the PA President Mahmoud Abbas, called for an end to IDF anti-terror raids in PA-controlled cities, blame Israel for tensions with Palestinians. They expressed “full support” for the embattled PA, which analysts fear is teetering on the brink of losing control of its enclaves in Judea and Samaria. Though both Egypt and Jordan maintain formal peace treaties with Israel, Jewish and Israeli travellers to the countries are regularly harassed and humiliated by customs agents and locals. Lawmakers from the Arab countries often trash Israel in incendiary public statements that border on blood libel.

Israel’s Economy is Unshaken by Judicial Reform

The US credit evaluation firm Fitch Ratings reaffirmed Israel’s A+ score with a “stable” outlook, saying that the current judicial reform measures “are unlikely to trigger a material exodus of talent and capital in the high-tech sector.”

Quotes of the Week:

"We Muslims do not merely hate Israelis; we hate all the Jews, who have been our enemies since the beginning of Islam. It’s useful to have such an explosion of candor, since so many in the West keep thinking that the enmity of the Palestinians and other Arabs can be solved by territorial concessions from Israel. But there is nothing the Israelis can do to end that Muslim Arab hate, except by disappearing." - Radwan Abdullah, a PA journalist - Israel must understand the true nature of its enemies. They have never been interested in having peace with Jews. Annihilation of the Jewish state is their goal. They will only understand crushing defeat, followed by the reunification of all Jewish land - Eretz-Israel, including trans-Jordan. There are 22 Arab states, and many more Muslim countries where the fake Palestinians can move to and kill each other, with no Jews around.

Duplicity of Occupied Lands

by Steven Shamrak

There are many lands around the world that have been occupied not so long ago by other countries. Many of them are still subjugated to the rule of an occupying power. They were conquered during offensive or defensive wars, throughout the process of establishment of statehood or as a part of colonial and imperial policy. The following is a far from complete list of the currently occupied lands:

Great Britain still occupies 17 provinces of Ireland, Gibraltar, Las Islas Malvinas (The Falkland Islands) and is holding on to the many residual symbols of her former colonial glory around the world.

France is still holding onto many overseas territories like New Caledonia and French Guinea. France and Spain divided and have no intention to give independence to the Basque people, the oldest indigenous living group known in Europe.

Belgium is an artificially forged country, which was created in order to protect the Netherlands from continuous attacks by France. There is still “no love lost” between the French and Flemish speaking populations of the country.

China - The international community has done nothing to stop occupation of Tibet by China. Eastern, predominantly Muslim, provinces of China are still under ‘imperial’ communist rule.

Chile - From the 1840s, heavy Anglo-Chilean investments were made in nitrate mining on the Bolivian coast. Bolivia lost its coastal region after the war of 1879-1884. Since then, Bolivia has been economically stifled by Chile with limited access to the seaports.

Indonesia – It was ‘painful’ for Indonesia to allow freedom to East Timor. International pressure was applied only because of the huge oil reserves off the coast of East Timor were found. But there is no pressure in relation to the continuous occupation of Bali, West Papua and numerous islands that would love to obtain independence from the Muslim tyranny of Jakarta.

Panama proclaimed its independence after the US expressed interest in obtaining the rights to the canal, which Colombia refused. US marines landed in Panama the same day when independence was declared.

Russia has no plans to return the eastern part of Poland it has occupied since before WW2 and end occupation of eastern Prussia, the Kuril Islands and Southern Sakhalin. Russia still retains its status as an imperial power by holding on to Chechnya, Dagistan, North Ossetia, Tatarstan and many other national enclaves which were occupied by Tsar.

Turkey occupies 36.2% of Cyprus, On July 20, 1974, Turkey invaded Northen Cyprus, violating all rules of international law, including the Charter of the United Nations, including the POPULATION TRANSFER.

USA – The biggest and leading democracy of the world is one of the biggest occupiers as well. There is no intention of even talking about compensation for, never mind returning, the occupied land which used to be, not long ago, a part of Mexico. What about Puerto Rico, Hawaii and other ‘strategic interests’?

The United Nations maintains a list of territories that do not govern themselves. The list was initially prepared in 1946 and adopted in 1986. It has officially endorsed control of these lands by their former colonial powers!

It should be remembered that most countries around the world (including the USA, UK, France, Germany, China and Russia) were forged and established their current borders during the last 300 years. Their creation was accompanied by dramatic conquests and destruction of unique and independent cultures. In a Russian play one character asked the audience: “Look, who are the judges?” Yes, who are they to tell Jews what is their land and to force Israel to give away Jewish land to Arab scoundrels?

Israel is the only country that can claim its statehood and ownership of the land. Jewish people have over 3,000 years of spiritual and historical connection with the land. Israel is the only state that withdrew from the Sinai Peninsula after it was conquered during a defensive war. In exchange, Israel received a worthless piece of paper, which is called the Peace Agreement with Egypt. And yet, Israel is the only country under international pressure to surrender her own land to the enemy, a recently forged people - called Palestinians, whose only goal, which they do not even hide, is to destroy the Jewish state.

There are three reasons why Israel is under such an international onslaught – traditional international anti-Semitism, a desire to sell out Israel in exchange for a steady supply of oil, and an appeasement of Islamic terrorists in order to defer attacks on the West!

Does it make sense? What definitely takes place and make sense is that the world’s economic and political powers (“Puppet Masters”) apply pressure on Israel and use any means at their disposal, including manipulation of international law. An example of this is how it was done after Israel won the War of Independence. Immediately the Fourth Geneva convention ruled out population transfer as a legitimate way of resolving conflicts – but only when it suits their economic and political interests, with complete disregard to historical, spiritual and even legal rights of any people, not just Jews (remember ongoing dismantling of Yugoslavia and non-existence of Kurdistan – the homeland of 35 million Kurds, divided and occupied by five countries). The multitude of international organizations - including the UN, IRC, Amnesty International etc - are at full the disposal of the international “Puppet Masters” and only too eager to assist by generating and manipulating public opinion, creating the illusion of propriety. The bottom line: it is all about power, control and beyond doubt money!
