Hamas War against Zionism and Christianity

by Joshua Klien

Mahmoud al-Zahar, a founder of the Hamas terror group and one of its current leaders, made the (truthful) outrageous claims.

“The entire 510 million square kilometers of planet Earth will come under [a system] where there is no injustice, no oppression, no treachery, no Zionism, no treacherous Christianity, and no killings and crimes, like those being committed against the Palestinians, and against the Arabs in all the Arab countries – in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and other countries,” he said.

Hamas’s original charter, which claims that “peace and quiet” for Jews and Christians will only be possible “under the wing of Islam,” repeatedly cites the Koran and other mainstream Islamic texts.

Al-Zahar previously claimed, in reference to the entire State of Israel, that “removing the Jews from the land they occupied in 1948 is an immutable principle because it appears in the Book of Allah.”

He also blamed Jews for having “corrupted” European societies (He is not just anti-Zionist, but anti-Europe as well).

Abu Rudeineh, the official spokesman for Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas, stated: "not a single settlement will remain on the land of the independent state of Palestine." (Sounds like 'moderate' Palestinian terrorists are planning "ethnic cleansing" of Jews. Then, why is the removal, not killing, of the enemies, who aim to commit genocide of Jews, from the Jewish land not 'OK'?)

In 2010, the Hamas chieftain insisted that Muslims must construct a mosque near Ground Zero, explaining that Muslims worldwide are united in a common cause. (Fundamentally, nothing has changed since! The same ideology guides Fatah, the PLO and other terrorist groups.)

Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak

Most countries of the world are less than 300 years old. Many of them are occupying lands they have conquered from their neighbours. Some nations did not even exist before their statehood was declared. Isn’t it funny that the majority of those countries support creation of a state of a fake people, and are feeling that they have the right to dictate to Israel, one of the oldest nations, what the land of Jewish people is? Israel must stop paying attention to those anti-Semites and do what is right for the future of the Jewish people!

Bombings in Jerusalem by Enemies Within

An Arab-Israeli man, 26-year-old Islam Froukh from eastern Jerusalem, who was allegedly behind the deadly twin terror bombings in Jerusalem last month has been arrested. The terrorist exploded two bombs near two entrances to the capital, killing a 17-year-old dual Israeli-Canadian citizen and a 50-year-old father of six, and wounding 20 more.

Israel Ranked 4th in Economic Growth

Israel is the fourth-best-performing economy in 2022 among a list of OECD countries. Ranking is based on an overall score measured by five economic and financial indicators: gross domestic debt (GDP), inflation, inflation breadth, stock market performance and government debt.

Antisemitic Morality of UNGA

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) asked the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to provide an opinion on the legal consequences of Israel’s “occupation, settlement and annexation” of the Palestinian controlled territories. Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, said, "No international body can decide that the Jewish people are ‘occupiers’ in their own homeland. The Palestinians have rejected every peace initiative, while supporting and inciting terror. Instead of pushing the Palestinians to change, the UN is doing the opposite: helping them to harm the only vibrant democracy in the Middle East." (Is it too optimistic to hope that the ICJ will recognise that fake Palestinians are occupying the Jewish land? If the ICJ says that Judea, Samaria, etc. were ‘Palestinian’ territory between 1948 and 1967, then they are also stating Jordan is the Palestinian state, and thus, the PA should no longer be recognized. And, who were ‘Palestinians’ before 1948? This ‘opinion’ could work for Israel quite well.)

Israel's Ranking

Israel is one of the 10 most powerful, politically influential, and militarily strong countries in the world. Overall, Israel ranked 37th “best” country in the world out of 85 on the yearly list, now in its seventh year. As for political influence, Israel was put in sixth place, just behind Germany and ahead of France. Israel’s highest ranking was for its military, which was placed fourth, behind Russia, the US, and China. (And yet, the government of Israel is unwilling to end occupation of the Jewish land by enemies.)

PA Cutting Ties with Israel Again?

The PA cabinet leader Mohammad Shtayyeh said that Abbas instructed cutting ties with Israel. He also stated that the violent resistance (terror attacks) against Israel must continue.

Quote of the Week:

“Like hundreds of the twisted decisions against Israel taken by the UNGA over the years, today’s despicable decision will not bind the Israeli government. The Jewish nation is not an occupier in its own land and its own eternal capital, Jerusalem." - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed the United Nations General Assembly resolution referring to Israel’s “occupation… of Palestinian territory”.

“This latest initiative is another mistake by the Palestinian leadership which for years has supported and incited terror and leads its people in a manner that harms Palestinians themselves and any potential end to the conflict.” - Eli Cohen, Foreign Minister.

The US Hostility Unprecedented and Shocking

by Rabbi Steven Pruzansky

After a series of American objections to Israeli policies (culminating in the annexation of the Golan Heights more than forty years ago) led to protests and suspensions of signed agreements with Israel, Prime Minister Menahem Begin called in US Ambassador Samuel Lewis and gave him a tongue-lashing:

“Are we a vassal state? Are we a banana republic? Are we 14-year-old boys who have to have knuckles slapped if they misbehave?" And Mr. Begin continued: “You cannot and will not frighten us with punishments... Threats will fall on deaf ears… We shall not allow a sword of Damocles to hang over our heads. The People of Israel have lived for 3,700 years without a strategic agreement with America, and will continue to live without it for another 3,700 years."

The American government’s hostility to Israel’s new administration is offensive. That is not ameliorated by the fact that it is being prompted, aided, and abetted by so-called American Jewish “leaders” whose progressive politics darkens their attitude towards the Jewish state. The United States has routinely interfered in Israel’s elections, and its domestic and foreign affairs, but the extent to which it is attempting to micromanage Israel’s democracy, duly elected government and policies is unprecedented and shocking.

We are hearing US government officials stating openly that Israel may not expand settlements in Judea and Samaria and had better not annex the central part of our ancient homeland. Furthermore, that Israel may not change its rules of engagement under fire for either our military or our police. We may not amend the law and limit the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court nor amend the “Grandfather Clause” of the Law of Return that has engendered the Aliyah of mostly Gentiles to Israel over the last several years, if not longer. Israel may not change the status quo on the Temple Mount – i.e., it must maintain discriminatory policies against only Jews – nor may Israel's Knesset enshrine religious freedom protections in our laws to prevent violations of conscience created by the new immorality sweeping the globe. (It is well known, that most US governments have never been a real friend of Israel. They use the Jewish state as a pond in the global political games with Arab states, and global Antisemitism!)
