Grave Mistake or Good Beginning?

by Anna Epshtein

The Israeli attack in Iran has drawn both criticism and applause at home from across the political spectrum.

Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, who criticized Israel’s restrained response to the Iranian attack in April, wrote that the strike “was a good beginning in order to target Iran’s strategic assets, which needs to be the next phase.” He added, “We have a historic duty to remove the Iranian threat.”

The attack was also praised by opposition leader Yair Golan, head of the Israeli Labor Party, for “harming Iran’s defensive and offensive capabilities without dragging us into a war of attrition.”

However, the strike was criticized for not inflicting serious damage to either Iranian economics by striking oil reserves or to Iran’s nuclear program.

Yair Lapid, leader of the opposition, wrote that Iran should have “paid a much heavier price” and that “the decision not to attack strategic and economic targets in Iran was wrong.” (Only by helping the people of Iran to remove the despotic Ayatollah regime will Israel be able to completely change military and diplomatic dynamics in the region.)

IDF Targeted Military Sites in Iran

Israel attacked about 20 targets in Iran over several hours. Explosions rocked the Iranian capital, Tehran, as well as the cities of Karaj, Isfahan, and Shiraz. The strikes focused on missile manufacturing facilities, surface-to-air missile sites, hitting targets some 1,600 kilometers (1,000 miles) away. The first wave of attacks apparently targeted Iran’s air defense capabilities, to ensure the IDF’s freedom of operations. The next waves hit drone and ballistic missile manufacturing sites - those used in direct Iranian attacks on Israel on April 14 and October 1 - as well as sites used to launch such weapons. The military said the strikes had given the IAF “wider freedom of aerial action in Iran,” and that it had a broad bank of targets that it could hit in the future if required. Gulf States refuse to allow Israeli planes to use their airspace.

Food for Thought: by Steven Shamrak

Most of the western media outlets are guilty of the deliberate anti-Israel reporting, by distorting or omitting facts about wars in Gaza and Lebanon. Israel, a country which was attacked by Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists, is portrayed as the aggressor. At the same time, terrorists and supporting them population of Gaza are portrayed as victims!

What is Humane Way to Kill a Terrorist?

United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories Francesca Albanese believes assassinated Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed by Israeli soldiers “in a way that is quite inhumane.” Albanese has a long, illustrious history of hating the Jewish state.  Albanese also called for an arms embargo against Israel. Earlier this year, Albanese elicited international condemnation when she denied that the October 7th pogrom targeted Jews, and when she instead accused Israel of having provoked the massacre. (The 'Ugly Nazi' is still letting her keep the job.)

Terror Attack by the Enemy Within

At least 35 people were injured and one killed in a terror attack when a truck rammed into a crowded bus stop near Glilot, north of Tel-Aviv, by an Israeli Arab. A significant number of the victims were retirees who had just gotten off an intercity tourist coach at the bus stop. The driver exited the truck outside a sensitive security base in Glilot with a knife and was shot by armed bystanders. The truck driver was identified as Rami Natur, an Israeli Arab citizen and resident of Qalansawe.

Harris is not pro-Israel

Vice President Kamala Harris did not answer a question about whether she would be more pro-Israel than former President Donald Trump. Harris was asked multiple questions related to the war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization. Instead of answering the question, Harris spoke of the potential dangers of another Trump presidency. (Not to Israel.)

Missiles, RPG Found in Southern Lebanon Mosque

IDF soldiers located a weapons storage facility containing grenade launchers, shoulder-fired missiles, RPGs, combat vests, Kornet missiles, and other weapons that were hidden in a mosque in the heart of a civilian neighbourhood. (There are no civilian targets in Gaza and Lebanon.)

The UNIFIL is Totally Subject to Hezbollah

A former UN soldier of UNTSO (the UN Truce Supervision Organization), which works closely with the UN Interim Force or UNIFIL in Southern Lebanon admitted that during his service there 10 years ago, “we were totally subject to Hezbollah.” He described how no actions were taken against the violations of UN Resolution 1701. “We reported daily violations of Resolution 1701 to our superiors, including restrictions on our freedom of movement, and we were instructed to report all violations regardless of number. But nothing ever happened.” (And nothing was made public about those violations.)

The interrogations of several captured Hezbollah terrorists in south Lebanon revealed that Hezbollah paid money to UNIFIL personnel to use their positions in south Lebanon. Hezbollah also took over the UNIFIL security cameras in the compounds near the Israeli border and used them. The UNIFIL appears to be not just ineffective but actually aligned itself with Israel’s enemies. (This makes UNIFIL a terrorist group, and their sites legitimate targets.)

Hamas Murdering Fleeing Gazans

Hamas gunmen are shooting unarmed Gazan civilians attempting to flee Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip, as the IDF engages in intensive anti-terror offensive in the area. Hamas has long used Gazan civilians as human shields as a central part of its strategy, intentionally holding battles in crowded urban areas in order to maximize civilian casualties. The terror group then leverages the deaths of those caught in the crossfire to falsely accuse Israel of committing human rights violations. (This the 'Ugly Nothing' does not condemn.)

The UN Ignores Jewish Hostages

Following the report on the ‘Right to Food,' which claims that Israel is committing genocide through starvation, Israel's Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, wrote: “This disgraceful report is an attempt to re-write the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and promote incitement against the State of Israel. The report is a political manifesto under the guise of a factual manifesto whose sole purpose is to distort Jewish and Israeli history and promote anti-Semitic narratives. Additionally, the report fails to mention the starvation of the hostages whom are still being held captive by the Hamas terror organization; and it fails to mention Hamas’ responsibility for the inadequate distribution and looting of the humanitarian aid in Gaza.” (The 'Ugly Nazi' does its best to promote anti-Semitism worldwide!)

Quotes of the Week:

"People like SBS, the BBC over here in the UK, and other broadcasting organizations, they basically fuel Hamas. They encourage Hamas. They give strength to Hamas. They prolong the conflict. It's all by supporting Hamas' narrative, whether wittingly or unwittingly. Unfortunately, it's the reality of so many large-scale and influential broadcasters. It's the same with organizations like the United Nations, and the International Court of Justice." - Richard Kemp, former British commander.

Orchestrated anti-Israel Media Campaign

by James Sinkinson

Most mainstream media no longer represent the truth but instead promote a false narrative that strongly conforms to “progressive” (anti-Semitic) ideology.

Our legacy media have fallen to disgraceful depths. They no longer represent the truth but promote a false narrative that strongly conforms to progressive ideology to promote leftist and other anti-Israel causes.

Here are the most scandalous stories hidden, mangled or openly perverted by mainstream outlets in recent weeks:

- “60 Minutes” inserts a fake Kamala Harris answer into her interview. The CBS program asked the vice president if the United States had any influence over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Harris’s first confused, “word salad” answer aired briefly but was quickly replaced. CBS inserted her shorter answer to a different question. CBS has refused to publish a full transcript of the interview.

- “The New York Times” idolizes terrorist mastermind Nasrallah. Following Israel’s assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, the Times eulogized the terrorist leader as if he were a hero - calling him a “powerful orator, beloved by Shi’ite Muslims,” crediting him with helping to “provide social services for Lebanon,” and, fantastically, trying to sell the lie that he wanted “one Palestine, with equality for Muslims, Jews and Christians.”

- “CBS” makes a bloodthirsty anti-Israel rally in Dearborn, Mich., sound like a picnic. On Sept. 25, a “Stand with Lebanon” demonstration featured anti-Semitic screams of “Death to Israel” and cheers to fake reports that Hezbollah was invading Israel. CBS, however, portrayed the gathering as a wholesome, civil demonstration in support of Lebanon.

- “Bloomberg” portrays Israel as the aggressor against Iran. After Iran recently attacked Israel with 180 ballistic missiles, Bloomberg’s headline claimed, “Iran pushed into missile fire by sustained Israel escalation.” Suggesting that Israel was responsible for escalating hostilities with belligerent Iran is, obviously, an absurd falsehood.

- “The New York Times” features a bogus report asserting that the IDF targets children.

- National Public Radio, NPR, reports parrot Hamas’s bogus casualty figures and make no mention of Hamas using Gaza hospitals as headquarters and arms depots.

When it comes to Israel, the media understand that progressive audiences strongly favour narratives about allegedly downtrodden people, fake Palestinians, struggling for freedom from a supposedly despotic regime - Israel. Despite the abject falseness of this narrative, left-leaning media loyally promote it, thus supporting policies that limit Israel’s efforts to defeat its enemies. (It is not just the US media deliberately pushing anti-Israel narrative. British BBC; Australian SBS and ABC; France24, German, Turkish, etc, are participating in a well-orchestrated anti-Israel smear campaign.)
