Extortion Payout to Arab Mafia!
by Steven Shamrak
At the opening of the donors' conference in Paris,
French President Nicolas Sarkozy emphasised the urgency of creating a
Palestinian state by the end of next year, 2008. International donors eagerly pledged $7.4 billion, pretending that it
will boost PA economy.
The
list of fake friends of the fictitious Palestinian nation is long: United
States, pledged $555 million for 2008, though about $400 million has not been
approved by Congress; Britain, $500 million; Norway, $420 million; Spain, $360
million; France and Sweden, $300 million each; Germany, $290; Belgium, €86 million; the new Australian government pledged $39 million, almost
doubling the intended pledge; the European Union, €440 million ($650 million) in grants to the
Palestinians in 2008.
All
of them ignored the enormous level of corruption, which is traditional and
common at all levels of PA, which traditionally makes almost 50% of donated
funds vanish. They did not care that funds are spent on terror campaigns
against Israel. The fact that terrorism and military operations
against it conducted by Israel is not a conducive environment for economic
development have not made them stop and think what would be the better way to
spend this huge amount of money for the betterment of the people they pretend
to care about!
Would
it be more effective, for peace in the Middle East, if all those funds,
combined with UN and other programs, were directed toward re-settlement of the non-Jewish population from Judea, Samaria and Gaza
to low populated Sinai, where they would have a vast amount of contiguous land,
which they do not have in Israel, to build an independent state or have
autonomy under the Egyptian government? But, logic
and common sense are not applicable when prejudice against Jews and fear of
Arab terror and diminishing supply of oil is
in play.
That
is why none of the legitimate nations, who are suffering from
occupation, are not attracting such strong international attention and
generosity. People of Tibet, Western
Papua, Kurdistan, Western Sahara, Armenians in Turkey, Basques and others, who have been enduring discrimination and even genocide
from their occupiers are still ignored and brushed of by international
duplicity.
At
the same time, the world is not really interested in true peace in the Middle East. It is only after the terror campaign, which was
unleashed by the PLO during 70’s and coincided with the oil embargo imposed by
the Arab countries, that the United States and Europe had suddenly discovered
the ‘Palestinian nation’. Recent attacks by Al Qaida
in the US, Europe and Bali have brought the horror memories back: plane and boat high-jackings, suicide bombings and execution of Israeli
athletes in Munich. Fear combined with traditional anti-Semitism and
dependency on Arab oil creates the best condition for the successful fund
rasing party!
Egypt is allowing some 1,200 Arabs - including Hamas terrorists with possibly millions of dollars in cash
to be used for Hamas - to return to Gaza without having to go through Israeli
security - in violation of an explicit agreement between Defense
Minister Ehud Barak and
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak
just two weeks ago.
Testimony
of the Peace Process. According to the Internal Security Services (ShaBaK),
there were 2,946 terrorist attacks in 2007 in Israel. (Ask yourself,
what would the United States do in these
circumstances?) http://www.terrorismawareness.org/what-really-happened/
Food for Thought. by

If naming a toy-bear Mohamed is considered a sacrilege, in
accordance with Muslim law, what about screaming at or punishing the boys
bearing the name of the Prophet? How many Mohameds
are being killed by Al Quaida? How many of them are
imprisoned by Muslim countries? The ‘politicly correct’ Western politicians and
public are paralysed and unable to fight Muslim hypocrisy!
Murderers were Abass Men. The
terrorists who killed two young Jewish men, Ahikam Amihai and David Rubin while they were hiking, turned
themselves in to the General PA Intelligence Wing in Hevron.
Both belong to Mahmoud Abass's
Fatah movement and are directly linked to the PA
security forces, the Shabak has reported. The terror
attack was pre-planned and its purpose was to kill hikers and steal their
weapons.
Secrecy of Betrayal. Mahmoud
Abbas disclosed, that despite the Israeli policy aimed
at banning any contact with Hamas, the two parties
had met recently, secretly in Switzerland. Israel had proposed the "creation
of a Palestinian state with temporary borders, in exchange for 15 years of a
cease-fire''. (And what will come after 15 years?
Another war! Even 15 years is too long for Arabs to keep promises. Remember,
Mohamed broke a 10 year Hudna!)
Evangelising ‘Judaism’. A conversion to Judaism of 55 residents
of Cairo, Illinois was facilitated by the Reform and Conservative movement on December 9th. A rural community is
described as "far away from everywhere", predominantly black
and poor. (This event is being promoted as an
incredible occasion, is it?)
Israeli Arabs Don't Want Palestine. The vast majority of Israeli Arabs, 78 percent, would not want to live
in a future Palestinian state. Many Israeli Jews believe their Arab compatriots
want to stay in Israel because of economics. Arabs make up about 20 percent of Israel's population. (It would
be better, for peace and clear national identity, if all of them move and live
in the new Muslim state, Sinai!)
Quote of the Week:
“Any intention and plan to give up parts
of the Land of Israel is understood as weakness and
surrender and leads directly to the murder of Jews. The Arab enemy understands
only force, power and resoluteness. A Jewish government needs to evict its
enemies from within it and settle Jews in their stead." - The Yesha
Rabbis' Council reacted to the murder of two Jewish hikers near Hevron.
Inaction and Self-hate Make the Country Sick! One child in 3 in Israel lives below the poverty line. 840,000 Israeli
children are affected by insecurity. 326,000 children are considered ''at
risk'', and an increase of 45% of attacks against children was recorded in
2007. (Government hypocrisy, corruption, lack of
national vision and inaction against terror are major contributors to the
society sickness – the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder!)
Unfriendly
Aid from EU. Several weeks
ago Israel seized a truck carrying 6.5 tonnes of potassium
nitrate, chemicals used to make explosives hidden in bags marked as sugar from
the European Union aid for the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.
Blood
Money – Balancing Game. A report by the Congressional
Research Service published on 20th
December outlines arms sales, as delivered, since 1999 from the USA: from 1999
to 2002, Saudi Arabia led in arms purchased and delivered from US, at $8.9bn.
Egypt was third with $4.5bn and Israel was fourth with $3.3 bn. From 2003 to
2006, Israel purchased and received $5.2bn in arms, making it first and just
edging out Egypt at second, with $5.1bn; Saudi Arabia was third with $4.4bn.
Major
Economy in Gaza.
Hamas has taken over the estimated 150
smuggling-tunnels from Egypt into Gaza, and charges the owners $3,000 each per
day. Five tunnels were blown up by Hamas because
their owners didn't agree to pay the fee. The other digger/owners quickly
agreed to pay the requested fee, enabling Hamas to
attain a monopoly on the tunnels. While the 150 tunnels bring in a total of
some $150 million annually, the value of men, weapons and other merchandise
smuggled in each year total more than three times that amount - close to a
half-billion dollars.
When
Government Disrespects National Aspirations.
Jewish immigration to Israel fell in 2007 to a 17-year low. About 19,700
immigrants arriving was the lowest number since the fall of the Soviet Union. In 2006, about 21,000 people moved to the Jewish
state, local media reported. Earlier this year the number of Israelis leaving
the country exceeded the number of new arrivals for the first time in 20 years.
‘Moderate’ Fatah. Fatah is
planning to mark its 43rd anniversary (creation of the fake Palestinian nation) with a new poster that presents all of Israel as Palestine. The poster’s underlying message is that
Fatah, like Hamas, does not
recognize Israel's existence. It features a map of Israel that is entirely draped with a Palestinian
scarf and a drawing of a rifle as a symbol of the "armed struggle"
against Israel. The emblem is in violation of Fatah's declared policy, which envisions an independent
Palestinian state alongside, and not instead of, Israel. (Fatah and Hamas
may have different religious ideologies, but the same intended future for Israel and Jews!)
Virgins for Martyrs are Back. PA
TV put back on the screen a music video, with the Virgins of Paradise
reminding would-be suicide bomber terrorist Shahids
(martyrs) of the reward that awaits them when they die fighting the Jews. The
constant reruns may signal the need to increase motivation among PA Arab men to
join the terrorist ranks and donate their lives to fighting Israelis. (And no one cares that it is another violation of the Oslo
Agreement! How many virgins can $7.4 billion buy?)
Bush
and Sarkozy: No patience for Assad. "My patience ran out on President Assad a long time ago. The reason why is because he houses Hamas, he facilitates Hezbollah, suiciders
go from his country into Iraq and he destabilizes Lebanon," Bush said. "I have reached the end of
the road with Assad. Words alone won't suffice; I
want actions," Sarkozy told journalists. (Only Israel must remain calm, considered and
patient. Why?)
