by Hana Levi Julian In a letter to dozens of foreign ministers around the world Foreign Minister Israel Katz warned that the only way to prevent an all-out war is the immediate implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, the ceasefire agreement that ended the 2006 Second Lebanon War between Israel and Hezbollah. “Israel carried out yesterday a precise strike in Beirut against Fuad Shukr, known as “Sayyid” Muhsan, the most senior military commander of Hezbollah, who was responsible for the murder of 12 children while they were playing soccer in Majdal Shams, as well as for the murder of many other Israeli citizens,” Katz wrote. “The world must support Israel at this time, and demand an immediate cessation of Hezbollah’s attacks, its withdrawal to north of the Litani River, and its disarmament in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1701. “Tens of thousands of Israeli residents who have been forced to leave their homes in northern Israel must return home safely,” he concluded. (Where Israel is concerned, the anti-Semitic 'Ugly Nazi', its military and 'humanitarian' agencies, has never been interested to enforced its own 'pro-Israel' resolutions.) Golda Meir, Israel's PM 1969-1974 “Everyone Has the Right to Self-Determination Except Us.” Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, the International ’Friends’ of the Jewish state have been accusing Israel of using a famine as a tool of war, continuously alerting that “famine in Gaza is coming in two weeks”. The ‘Ugly Nazi’, the head of the United Nations World Food Program, in spite of no evidence, declared that northern Gaza has entered “full-blown famine” in May. Last week, famine was officially declared in the Darfur region of Sudan, where hundreds of thousands of displaced people are under siege after they have fled their homes during the country's 15-month civil war. All this time, there was not ‘intensive’ coverage of the conflict in Sudan by ‘Liberal press’; no persistent pressure from international leaders, and meaningless non-binding resolutions. When a conflict does not involve Jews, ‘They’ do not care!
Al Jazeera Reporter was Hamas Terrorist Ismail al-Ghoul, 27, was a PA Arab reporter for the Qatari state-owned Al Jazeera network, who was eliminated by an IDF airstrike on July 31, 2024. The Al Jazeera news network dismissed as “baseless allegations” Israel’s claim. The IDF released a 2021 document found in a Hamas computer showing him to be registered as a fighter for the terrorist group since January 7, 2014. (No wonder so many 'journalists', are 'employees' of UNRWA and other 'humanitarians' working for various NGOs have been neutralised by the IDF in Gaza.) The Star of David is New 'Blood Liable" Candace Owens, a political commentator, claims Star of David originated from child-sacrificing pagan deity. The right-wing firebrand went on to argue that, in truth, the Star of David only became associated with Judaism when European Jews decided to adopt it as a symbol comparable to the cross a few hundred years ago. (Anti-Semites do not care about Jewish archaeological artifacts and history. 'They' ignore logic and facts. She does not question the distortion of Jewish spiritual teachings by other religions.) Removing Israel-Haters from the Jewish State Israel is refusing to extend visas for a significant portion of UN staff and other non-governmental organizations. One of them, Andrea De Domenico, head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Palestinian Territories. The relationship between Israel and the United Nations has spiralled since Oct. 7, with Jerusalem repeatedly accusing UN officials and bodies of siding with Hamas, showing little to no care for hostages held in Gaza and applying double standards to the Jewish state, as it fends off attacks and threats on multiple fronts from Iran-aligned terror groups. (It is time to regain and exercise self-respect!) Israel carries the status of NATO partner and has fostered close relations with the military alliance and some of its members. Turkey had vetoed all NATO engagement with Israel since October, including joint meetings and exercises. Even prior to Israel’s offensive in Gaza, Turkey had been working to mend 's long-strained ties with Israel. (Why is Turkey still a member the NATO? Turkish embassy in Tel Aviv lowers flag to half-mast in mourning for Haniyeh. Turkey should have been thrown out of NATO years ago.) The US is Readying for a War The US has deployed at least 12 warships to the Middle East, including the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, amphibious assault teams and over 4,000 Marines and sailors, in response to escalating tensions in the region. The destroyers have been positioned in both the Persian Gulf and the Eastern Mediterranean. The US has redirected its warships from the Red Sea, where it combats Houthi missile and drone attacks in Yemen to protect commercial ships and support Israel. Terror Attacks in Judea and Samaria During the first six months of this year, there were recorded an overall 3,272 acts of terror in Judea and Samaria. This is an average of 545 attacks each month - 14 people were killed and 155 injured in terror attacks Since October 7 2023, more than 4,400 Palestinian terror suspects have been arrested in counterterror raids throughout Judea and Samaria of whom 40% are associated with Hamas. (This is another front Israel must deal with.) Israel is Neutralising Enemies - Israel eliminatedthe Hamas organization's leader, Ismail Haniyeh, in the Iranian capital of Tehran. Saudi media reported that Haniyeh was killed in his bedroom by a precision-guided missile. Speculations differ on whether projectile came from within Iran or from outside its borders. - Hezbollah's number 2, Fuad Shukr, was assassinated in Beirut. As the Head of Hezbollah's Strategic Unit, Fuad was responsible for the majority of Hezbollah's most advanced weaponry, including cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, precise-guided missiles, long-range rockets, and UAVs. Shukr played a role in the 1983 bombing of the US army barracks in Beirut in which 241 American servicemen were killed. The US had placed a $5 million bounty on his head. (Will Israel collect the bounty?) Israel’s foreign minister urged NATO to expel Turkey after its President Tayyip Erdogan threatened that his country might enter Israel. Erdogan said: “We must be very strong so that Israel can’t do these ridiculous things to Palestine. Just like we entered Karabakh, just like we entered Libya, we might do similar to them.” “Turkey, which hosts the Hamas headquarters responsible for terrorist attacks against Israel, has become a member of the Iranian axis of evil, alongside Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis in Yemen,” said Israel’s foreign minister. Quote of the Week: "In Gaza things are clear, the destruction of Hamas, the killing of Hamas leaders, the disbandment of all Hamas units and control of the territory. Give the IDF as much freedom of action as necessary, until Hamas ceases to exist, and the residents of the surrounding areas can live in peace and security. We have been fighting this war for 120 years, and it will probably continue for several more years to come. But we must ensure that we come out of it differently this time. I say once again, illusions and blindfolding have not proven themselves to be successful." - Lt. Col. Itamar Etam, commander of IDF Battalion 6282. Why Palestine but not Tibet? by Steven Shamrak (This article was published, under the title “Olympic Games and Dirty Politics”, during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.) Only fools and hypocrites would argue that sport and politics do not mix. From the beginning any sports event had a political connotation. Participants almost always represented their villages, cities, tribes, ethnic and religious groups, kingdoms or countries. It was a warm moment of hope this weekend when I saw the athletes of both Koreas walking as one team during the opening ceremony of the Athens Olympic Games. Even when countries are divided by a physical and ideological border, their leaders made a bold gesture of unity. Then there was Afghanistan and Iraq, both sincerely welcomed back after gaining their freedom from political and religious tyrannies. I was surprised when I saw the Taiwanese team walk out under the banner of Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong came out as a separate political entity. Obviously, the Chinese Government is playing some political games. And, the International Olympic Committee and Taiwan, in the spirit of the Olympic Games, clearly did not want to irritate a powerful member and neighbour. Out of many legitimate political causes that the IOC could promote as a part of the Olympic Games I would like, for instance, to see the representatives of Kurdistan, the nation of 35 million people, whose land is divided between five or six countries. There are many other forgotten people and countries that would benefit from Olympic participation: Tibet, Kashmir, the Basques and Chechens are only some of the nations and countries who are still illegitimately occupied by others. They are in real need of international moral support. To support them, however, means confrontation with countries like China, Russia, India, Pakistan and others. And people are told that the Olympic Games are not about confrontation - they are about peace. If this is so, why out of all land disputes, annexations and occupations around the world the IOC chose and had been given legitimacy to the most illegitimate and ugly one - the fake state of Palestine? It was sad and frustrating to see in the Olympic stadium two athletes (this year's Olympics there are 6 of them) of fictitious people, with much larger official 'escort', from the never-existing state of Palestine walking at the stadium during an opening ceremony. It seems that the IOC’s sensitivity, and intention of harmony and peace applies to all people and nations except Jews and Israel. I do accept the notion that politics has always played a part in sport. But this is ugly, anti-Semitic politics - and it makes sport unattractive and dirty! NOTE: Tibet and other suppressed historically legitimate nations are not being represented at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, alongside other nations, but representatives of Hamas and Fatah, the recognised terrorist organisations, are!
