Dear readers, I wish you a
Happy
New Year!
Betrayal - Criminal or Psychiatrical Disorder.
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert met with PA Chairman
Mahmoud Abbas and agreed to release $100 million in tax revenue and ease travel
restrictions for PA Arabs. PA terrorists promised to cease all rocket attacks
launched from Gaza at Israel. (we know the value of their word), and Israel
agreed to cease all military activity in Gaza. Permission was given to move the
PLO’s Badr Brigade from its Jordanian base to the Gaza Strip. (More
terrorists are allowed to step on Jewish land, but the release of IDF soldier
Gilad Shalit has still not been resolved. No restrictions were placed on
terrorist activity in Judea, Samaria and other areas of Israel. Why was this
meeting conducted at the Olmert’s private home in Jerusalem, and not in the PM
office? It was disgusting to see him bend forward and kiss our enemies, as
though he were an inferior. Another useless and lethal game is being played
with Jewish lives!)
Palestinian
terrorists have fired an average of two Kassams each day since the ceasefire
went into effect - usually while children are going to school. MK Eldad: Olmert
is a collaborator. The day after the meeting between Prime Minister Ehud Olmert
and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, terrorists in Gaza fired four Kassams towards
Sderot and nearby Kibbutzim. One rocket slammed into a
house next to a day-care nursery and sent several people into shock. (…but Olmert has already secretly agreed to free 150 jailed terrorists and is seriously considering releasing more,
while getting NOTHING in return!)
Two
14-year old Israeli boys in Sderot injured – one critically - by 8th
Palestinian missile fired from Gaza Tuesday. –
Only after Jewish blood was lost Olmert allowed IDF to take limited action against Qassam sells, but "Simultaneously, Israel will continue to
preserve the cease-fire." – What a brainless idea!
Always
One-Sided Obedience without Self-Respect. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert decided that Israel’s
armed forces would continue to hold fire in Gaza, even though the truce has
always been violated by terrorist groups. He ignored advice of at least two
senior Cabinet ministers, Eli Yishai of Shas and Benjamin Ben-Eliezer of Labor.
Suicide Bombings Are Next. The Islamic Jihad terrorist
group that attacked Sderot with Kassam rockets last Tuesday vowed that they
will carry out suicide bombing missions in retaliation for alleged Israeli
violations of the month-old ceasefire accord, which has been violated by Arabs
with more than 60 rocket attacks. (Delusional blood-thirsty demagogues. Vets kill mad dogs.
Why does Israel not do the same?)
Another
self-Delusional Idiot with self-Destructive Tendency. Vice Prime Minister Shimon
Peres said in Madrid Tuesday night that the Hamas terrorist organization should
participate in the peace process because it is an important force. (Hamas and Fatah
do not want peace with Israel, but only her destruction.)
Olmert’s
Suicidal Tendency. Sixty percent of would-be suicide bombers are stopped at checkpoints,
where the government has told the IDF to conduct less thorough examinations.
The government's idea of removing 59 roadblocks in Judea and Samaria could
result in more attacks. "The checkpoints work. It's that simple. It's how
we stop most terrorism," one military official said.
Olmert Talks to a non-Player. King Abdullah of Jordan denies audience to Mahmoud Abbas,
invites Hamas PM Ismail Haniya. Abbas was due to report to the king in Amman
Monday, Dec. 25, about his Saturday night talks with Israeli prime minister Ehud
Olmert. Abdullah called the meeting off and has resolved to have nothing to do
with the Olmert-Abbas track, which he regards at best as a side-show of the
main Palestinian power play. (Abbas is not a player, he never was.
Israel’s enemies, including Jordan, have only one solution in mind. It does not
include existence of Israel!)
Olmert Ordered No Fire at Kassam Rocket
Terrorists. Brig.-Gen.
Sammy Turgeman, head of the IDF Operations Division, told the Knesset Foreign
Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday, "If soldiers are directly
endangered, they may open fire - but they may not do so [merely] to thwart a
terror cell. Even if a rocket launching cell is detected in an open area, the
forces are not permitted to open fire." Defense Minister Amir Peretz said
he objects to this policy, as it "enables Islamic Jihad to walk freely
around with no fear of getting hit... But Prime Minister Olmert said that the
no-fire policy applies even in open areas, and no one in
the Cabinet argued." (All members of Israeli government must urgently be
psychiatrically assessed and certified!)
Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak
During the next
election Israeli voters must remember about the blunders made by IDF during the
last war in Lebanon. They were facilitated by Olmert’s (Kadima party leader) government with Amir
Peretz (Labour Party leader) as the Defense Minister. Vote wisely next time!
Preparation for War. Israeli
military officials said Monday that dozens, perhaps hundreds, of Hamas
militants recently left Gaza to receive advanced military training in Iran. The
training is similar to that received by thousands of Hezbollah guerrillas from
Lebanon over the past few years.
Living in Daily
Fear – Not Just Jews. Arabs
in P.A.-ruled Bethlehem regularly tell outsiders there is no friction between
their communities. But Israeli Christian Arabs say Palestinian Christians are
living in "daily fear" of the growing lawlessness directed against
them. Quite often, Muslims might take goods from a Christian grocer and refuse
to pay, or steal fruit from a Christian owner's fruit trees. International
human rights lawyer Justus Weiner said that Christians are suffering from human
rights abuses including land confiscations, rape and murder at the hands of the
Muslim community. (…and the hypocritical Church is silent again!)
Israel Developing 'Bionic Hornet'. Israel is
using nanotechnology to try to create a robot no bigger than a hornet that
would be able to chase, photograph and kill its targets. The flying
robot, nicknamed the "bionic hornet," would be able to navigate its
way down narrow alleyways to target otherwise unreachable enemies such as
rocket launchers.
Quote of the Week:
“American
Jewry will be far quicker to support Israel when the government of Israel is
once again leading JEWISH Israel that is a place to be proud of. I
won't send money to Israel when I know it is being given to the
‘Palestinians’ and used to evict Jews from their homes” - Dafna Yee, director of Jewish Watch Dog.
Syria Readying for War. Villages
recently built by Syria along the border with Israel are planned to be used as
"death traps" for IDF troops. Syria has invested large amounts of
money in replicating Hizballah military tactics, particularly in establishing
additional commando units and fortifying its short- and long-range missile
array.
Made in Israel. Israel's new
Ben-Gurion Airport terminal that opened two years ago was voted the most
customer-friendly airport in Europe in a new survey based on passenger feedback
at 77 airports around the globe.
Muslim Prayer Room. Ben Gurion
Airport is planning to create a Muslim prayer room. The prayer room is part of an effort to accommodate
Muslim passengers. (Are there prayer rooms for
Jews or Christians in Dubai or Riyadh airports? Why must the Jews always be
‘Holier than the Pope’? Because we are! Often, to our own detriment.)
Iranian-North Korean Nuclear Collusion. Twelve days before North
Korea’s first nuclear test on Oct.10, a secret Iranian military delegation of
nuclear and missile experts was present in Pyongyang. The visitors were taken
round North Korea’s Yongbyon reactor and the Punggye-ri testing site.
Anti-Zionism:
Blackmail Using Children.
israelnationalnews.com
Up until 2004, the religious-Zionist high schools received
funding from both the Education and Religious Affairs Ministries, totalling 280
million shekels in 2002. This sum dropped sharply last year to only 150 million
shekels.
MK Orlev said, "The government is holding the budget
and our children as political hostages just because we're in the opposition...
This political persecution is liable to destroy our schools, even though our
graduates are the backbone of Israeli society. The
government had better wake up before it cuts off the branch on which the State
sits."
