Knesset Rejected a Palestinian State

by Eliav Breuer

Knesset members issued a statement against establishing a Palestinian State west of the Jordan River. The declaration said, “The Israeli Knesset categorically opposes founding a Palestinian state west of the Jordan (River).” The current declaration would revise an earlier one passed by 99 Knesset members in February, which said, “Peace can only be achieved after we achieve total victory over Hamas and through direct negotiations between the parties without preconditions.” The updated declaration, approved by 63 MKs - politicians from eight parties in both the government and the opposition, would explicitly state that the establishment of a Palestinian State would pose a danger to Israel.

Israel is Taking Control over more of the Jewish Land.

Israel has approved its biggest land seizure in Judea and Samaria in more than three decades. The 12.7-square-kilometre of land in the Jordan Valley was officially declared “state property” in June. Israel captured the West Bank, eastern Jerusalem, the Golan Heights and the Gaza Strip in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war. Since then, it has constructed dozens of towns, home to more than 490,000 Israelis, in Judea and Samaria. By declaring them state lands, the government opens them up to being leased to Israelis and prohibits private Palestinian ownership. This year’s land seizures are contiguous, linking two already existing settlements to create a solid block near the border with Jordan. (The war was a defensive one! All the land Israel freed during the 1967 Arab-Israeli war belongs to the Jewish state, even in accordance with the modern international laws.)

The declaration they sought would essentially overturn a previously issued Knesset declaration, supported by Netanyahu, which opposed unilateral Palestinian statehood.

Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak

Recent media reports have proven that nobody cares about ‘poor Palestinians’. For several days it was all about Julian Assange wakes in Australia as a free man”. There was almost nothing reported about war in Gaza. Although, Israel has been still conducting operations in Gaza and ‘poor Palestinians’ are still ‘starving’; missiles are still fired by Hezbollah at Israel; and Israel neutralised Hezbollah commanders. For decades, the news about Israel has been a ‘filler’ of the information gap. Like they say: Antisemitism ‘sells!

Hamas Rejects any Foreign Control in Gaza

Hamas announced that it "rejects any proposal that plans to introduce foreign forces into the Gaza Strip, under any name and justification. Governing Gaza after the cessation of hostilities is a purely Palestinian matter, agreed upon by the Palestinian people. There will be no guardianship or external figures in Gaza which violate the principles of freedom and self-determination." (Removing Hamas and the population that support it from Gaza is the only viable way to end attack on Israel from Gaza.)

No US Sanctions Against Arab Settlers

A 14-year-old Jewish shepherd was treated for injuries after he was attacked by Palestinian Authority Arabs and international anarchists on Mount Hebron. There has been an average of “two to four attacks daily” by the anarchists since June 9, when the army relaxed security measures in the area.

Hamas: Israeli Reports about Hostage Deal Untrue

Basem Naim, a member of Hamas' diplomatic bureau, said that the Israeli reports about the ceasefire agreement are incorrect and that during the first stage, there will be a ceasefire between the sides and there will be negotiations regarding a permanent ceasefire. Hamas did not change anything substantial. (Wishful-thinking does not work in negotiating with terrorists. The Oct 7 attack was launched by Hamas DURING a permanent ceasefire!)

Collapse of Israeli Left

Nearly nine months after Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror attack, the Jewish state’s political divisions have reemerged. A sweeping new public opinion survey has revealed "a complete collapse of the old Israeli left,” said Hebrew University political psychologist Nimrod Nir, who led the survey. "Today, the question – a Palestinian state, yes or no? - doesn’t really differentiate the two camps, because no one supports the old idea of a Palestinian state.”

Demands for Post-war Gaza Plans

The US Secretary of State says Washington told the Israelis to develop their own plans for Gazan reconstruction. “We’ve told the Israelis that we expect them to develop their own plans, their own ideas,” Blinken replied. “We’ve not seen enough of that from Israel.” (Did Israel demand from the US to announce its post-war plan during the war in Afghanistan and Iraq? If the US had those plans, how did it work for them? How about Vietnam, Korea?)

Hezbollah Fires Rockets and Drones

Lebanon’s Iranian proxy, Hezbollah, launched more than 200 rockets and 20 drones “of various types” on sites across the Galilee and Golan Heights. (Hezbollah is the terrorist organization. Israel needs to step up targeting warehouses where Hezbollah keeps it rockets, 150,000 of them.)

Still No Famine in Gaza

A report released by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) organization, which found that there is not currently a famine in Gaza, has confirmed doubts that were raised earlier this year about claims of mass starvation. The data also demonstrates that the IPC’s projection in March that some 1.1 million Gazans would be suffering from the highest level of food insecurity possible by sometime in July was wildly wrong. (The vastly exaggerated almost daily predictions by Israel-hating leftist-controlled media about the "next week" famine in Gaza were deliberate anti-Israel smear campaign.)

Quote of the Week:

“Israel is being measured by double and triple standards that does not exist anywhere in the world. The IDF uses tactics that no army has ever seen to prevent harm to civilians and still fulfill its mission. None of this meant anything to Israel's critics. Israel's opponents are erasing a remarkable, historic new standard Israel has set.  I've never known an army to take such measures to attend to the enemy's civilian population, especially while simultaneously combating the enemy in the very same buildings.” - John Spencer, Chair of Urban Warfare Studies at the Modern War Institute at West Point - The IDF makes millions of prerecorded calls, hundreds of thousands of dropped flies, and tens of thousands of SMS messages that Israel has sent to Gazan civilians telling them to evacuate before military operations.

Ceasefire Game - Manipulation and Blackmail

by Matthew Sedacca

Hamas accepted a proposal for a US-backed hostage release-ceasefire agreement with Israel after dropping its most intransigent demand: that the Jewish state promise a total end to the nine-month war in Gaza. But the agreement came with a major hurdle: The Iran-backed terror group is now demanding “written guarantees” that mediators will continue to negotiate a permanent truce, once the first phase of the plan goes into effect.

(Hamas took hostages to use them as emotional blackmail. It worked before, but not anymore. Israel must neutralise Hamas completely, and free Gaza from the occupation by fake Palestinians.)

Hamas gave its initial approval for the proposal after receiving “verbal commitments and guarantees” from the Egyptian and Qatari mediators that fighting will not resume after Israel receives the hostages and that the two sides will continue to negotiate toward a permanent truce. (Israel did not give these guarantees - destruction of Hamas is still the goal. Anti-Israel Egyptian and Qatari mediators are manipulating a hostage deal to undermine Israel’s right to defeat the enemy.)

“Now we want these guarantees on paper,” the Hamas official said. (Will Hamas put a ceasefire agreement on paper? Will it respect it? If not, Israel will have the right to wipe-out Hamas and supporting it population from Gaza!)

The proposal now on the table would see Hamas free women, children and injured hostages in exchange for Israel releasing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners over an initial period of six weeks. Israeli forces also would pull back from heavily populated areas in Gaza and allow people to return to their homes in the northern parts of the territory during this time.

In phase two, Hamas would free all of the remaining men it holds - both civilians and soldiers - in exchange for Israel releasing a number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees. The exchanges wouldn’t occur until “sustainable calm” takes effect and all Israeli troops withdraw from Gaza.

Phase three would see the remains of hostages who died in captivity returned to Israel.

Israeli officials told Axios they were concerned that if they agreed to Hamas’ written commitment demands, the terror group would be able to indefinitely drag out the discussions about the deal’s second phase. It would be difficult for Israel to then resume fighting without it being seen as a violating the agreement, and could cause the United Nations Security Council to impose a ceasefire without securing release of all hostages. (Most international, anti-Israel news outlets and fake friends do not report the details of this ‘breakthrough.)
