Happy Birthday Israel!

Recently, Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said: "We must remember: There are many that have yet to come to terms with our right to a Jewish homeland (and not just Arabs), and they will do everything they can to deceive us and disrupt our lives with rockets and missiles, terror and de-legitimization - and in recent years with an attempt to develop a nuclear weapon."

We also have to remember what one of the founders of the State of Israel, Golda Meir, who served as Minister of Labor, Foreign Minister, and as the fourth Prime Minister of Israel said:

“We can forgive (them) for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with (them) when they love their children more than they hate us.”

“We don’t thrive on military acts. We do them because we have to, and thank God we are efficient.”

“We owe a responsibility not only to those who are in Israel but also to those generations that are no more, to those millions who have died within our lifetime, to Jews all over the world, and to generations of Jews to come.”

“I am also grateful that I live in a country whose people have learned how to go on living in a sea of hatred without hating those who want to destroy them and without abandoning their own vision of peace... It is part of our way of life in Israel.”

Armenian Genocide Remembrance!

100 years ago 1.5 million Armenians were killed! Their systematic extermination was organized and facilitated by Turkish government of the time. The apathy and indifference of international community for this horrendous atrocity had paved the way for Nazi Germany and its anti-Semitic accomplices to commit Holocaust! Even now most countries still has not recognized this crime against humanity!

The demise of the international influence of the United States began about 20 years ago, at the time when Bill Clinton forced Israel to sign the Oslo Accords! After that, respect for the American presidency sharply dropped. The world has realised that the US presidency can be easily bought – the Clinton foundation has been receiving millions of dollars from Arab donors since his retirement - and public opinion of the American people can be manipulated simply by bribing or/and threatening gutless journalists, and buying influence in the world media empires!

Terrorists Must Pay Bills and Compensate Victims!

Israel and the Palestinian Authority have reached an agreement to resolve a months-long dispute. Israel will transfer about $US470 million of collected tax revenue, after deductions to help cover PA debts to Israeli utility companies. Israel announced in March that it would release three months of tax revenue, but Mahmoud Abbas refused to accept the transfer because Israel had unilaterally decided to make deduction to cover PA debts. (All debts to Israel, including compensation to Israel and victims of PA terror, must be automatically deducted and paid!)

Obama Lies about Iran Framework Agreement

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was correct when he said on April 9 that the White House was lying about what the Americans call a framework agreement regarding the Iranian nuclear program. Obama is untruthful when he repeatedly claims that Iran has agreed to a detailed and comprehensive nuclear framework agreement. Iran has never signed or agreed to the framework agreement.

Israel Joining Asian Bank

Israel's decision to apply to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), despite Washington’s displeasure, indicates its desire to build its economic ties with Asia. Additional Israeli moves to improve relations with Asia include negotiating free trade agreements with China, Japan and South Korea. Besides Israel, many American allies have decided to join the AIIB in spite of Washington’s objections. These include South Korea, Britain, France, Germany, and Saudi Arabia. (There is one achievement Obama can be ‘proud’ about - the US losing international respect!)

France Eager to Arm Enemies of Israel

Lebanon, Israel’s neighbour to the north, is due to incorporate some $3 billion worth of French military hardware into the ranks of its army. The weapons transaction was subsidized by Saudi Arabia. The agreement calls for France to provide Lebanon with warplanes and cruisers, as well as armoured vehicles, seven helicopters and light aircraft. (They don’t even care that arms could end up in the hands of Hezbollah!)

Tunnel Detection System on Gaza Border

Israel’s defence establishment has successfully tested a tunnel detection system which aims to prevent cross-border attacks by PA terrorists. The system accurately detects tunneling activity, before the information is deciphered by a series of algorithms, revealing the location of the tunnels.

EU Helps the Arab Illegally Land Grab

The European Union overtly assists the Palestinian Authority to establish permanent illegal Arab settlements in area 'C' which is under full Israeli control, by supplying pre-fabricated homes to discourage Bedouins from their nomadic lifestyle and settle on our land, to establish facts on the ground for their claim of a Palestinian State.

Israel Can Reclaim Abandoned Properties

Israel can now legally seize Palestinian homes in Jerusalem under 'absentees' property law. Israel’s Supreme Court has ruled that the law can be applied to East Jerusalem, effectively allowing the state to take control of a property whose owners live in the West Bank or Gaza. An absentee is defined as anyone who lives in a nation designated hostile, including Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, or in an area of Israel outside state control.

What a Hutzpah!

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Israel against sending arms to Ukraine, several days after reports emerged that Jerusalem would be in contact with Kiev in retaliation for Moscow lifting a ban on S-300 missile sales to Tehran. (Russia builds nuclear reactors, sells S-300 system and other weapons to Iran and other Israel-‘friendly’ countries. But Israel is not allowed to do a business with Ukraine?)

Funds Freeze Achieved Nothing!

Israel has agreed to transfer in full hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes collected for the PA but frozen in a row over the International Criminal Court (ICC). Israel agreed at the start of April to release the funds after deducting debts due for electricity, water and medical services, a proposal rejected by the Palestinians who insisted on full payment. Although transfer freezes have been imposed many times, they have rarely lasted more than one or two months. (Will the debts be paid? What about compensation to victims of PA terror? Nothing, but it is just a stupid act of a gutless political game!)

PA Ministers Left Hamastan

PA ministers left Gaza after Hamas placed them on house arrest. The 10 ministers were dispatched to the Gaza Strip as part of the Palestinian Authority government’s effort to solve the problem of thousands of public employees who have not received their salaries for several months. (Is it a 3-states solution now?)

US alienation is leading to Israeli-Chinese renaissance. Jerusalem-Beijing ties are blooming due to China understanding the Muslim world is no longer united against Israel, and wishing to strengthen ties during falling out with US.

Israel Must Say "NO" to Embassies in Tel Aviv

Canada is planning to build a new embassy in Tel Aviv, even as the Conservatives continue to sell off diplomatic properties. The Canadian government is seeking outside help in assessing the cost of constructing a new, “prestigious”, 26,000-square-foot embassy and ambassador’s residence. (Enough is enough! Israel must insist on moving embassies to the capital of the country, Jerusalem. All self-respecting countries do!)

Baruch Goldstein - 20 Years Later

At the beginning of that fateful week, the then General Shaul Mufaz visited with the Kiryat Arba leadership for an emergency meeting, Baruch Goldstein, as the doctor of the area, was present. Mufaz told of intelligence information concerning a planned terror attack in the area of Machpela towards the end of the week. Baruch Goldstein was asked to ‘be prepared.’

How many Jews have committed terror acts? Five, six, may be seven. How many Arabs? Between 1989 and 2008, over 800 Arab suicide-homicide killers have murdered Jews. Why the only one is remembered - Baruch Goldstein?

Baruch Goldstein was a doctor. A very very good one at that. He treated both Arabs and Jews. His trauma treatment was legendary in Israel in medical circles. His on-the-spot diagnoses were, after weeks of hospital tests, found to be 100% on the mark.

He was also the only on-duty doctor in Kiryat Arba, just about 24 hours a day, seven days a week. During the first intifada, following drive-by shootings and terror attacks, he was frequently the first medical person at the scene.

Just two months earlier, he was present at the scene of the murder of his close friend, Mordechai Lapid and his son Shalom, just outside the gates of Kiryat Arba. He tried to save Mordechai’s life, in vain.

Note: In Torah there is a statement, which says that if one definitely knows that the intention of an intruder is murderous one, it is allowed to kill the intruder!
