Any Excuse to Hate Israel

by David Israel

President Joe Biden on Tuesday blasted Israel yet again, declaring, “I am outraged and heartbroken by the deaths of seven humanitarian workers. This conflict has been one of the worst in recent memory in terms of how many aid workers have been killed.”

The president lied. On February 2, OCHA spokesperson Victoria Andrievska reported, “Last year, 50 aid workers were killed or injured in Ukraine, including 11 killed in the line of duty."

According to a 2023 Aid Worker Security Report, “A total of 444 aid workers fell victim to violence in 235 separate attacks, with 116 killed, 143 injured, and 185 kidnapped in 2022.”

The Republican Jewish Coalition released a statement titled, “Joe Biden Must Stop Undermining Israel,” saying:

“President Biden, lecturing the Government of Israel, stated, ‘Israel has not done enough to protect aid workers… Israel has also not done enough to protect civilians.’

“Mister President, let’s be clear: 1. Hamas is the party that intentionally and indiscriminately targets civilians in Israel and in Gaza, and 2. Based on everything we know, Israel has done more in this war to prevent civilian casualties than any military in modern history, including our own.

“When the US military botched an airstrike in Kabul killing ten civilians, on Joe Biden’s watch in 2021, he dismissed criticism, offered no apology, and went to the beach for the weekend. Needless to say, Israel issued no statements of condemnation. That’s not how you treat an ally – unless you’re Joe Biden and the Democrats.”

Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak

One of the most perplexing phenomena of current Antisemitism is that in spite of the fact that Hamas persecutes and kills members of the LGBT+ community, the so-called ‘PROGRESSIVES’ have been supporting this heinous terrorist organization and very vocal against Israel, even after the horrors of the 7th of October attack was revealed. NOTE: Many victims of the Hamas attack were ‘Peacenicks’.

Also: (1) Nobody has asked Ukraine to declare a permanent ceasefire with Russia - the war is already going on for more than two years; and (2.) there are still no demands from the ‘Ugly Nazi” and president Biden for Egypt to open its border to let the “starving Palestinians” out of Gaza to safety of the vast Sinai Peninsula!

Full Sovereignty over Jordan Valley?

A bill, introduced by MK Dan Illouz, the imposition of sovereignty will come into effect over Judea and Samaria on October 7th, 2024, a year after the massacre. "A true victory will be possible only when the enemy feels that October 7th was a mistake, turning it into a day of mourning for them. To achieve this, we must take two central steps - crush terrorism and deepen our roots in our land," Chairman of the Jordan Valley Sovereignty Caucus, MK Dan Illouz, stated.

Rockets Fired after IDF Withdrew

Four rockets were fired at southern Israel on Sunday from the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, hours after the IDF withdrew nearly all of its ground forces from the area. (Only complete victory over Hamas, and removal of all enemies from Gaza will make the difference.)

The US Antisemitic Rapporteur is still Barking

Francesca Albanese, the UN special (permanent) rapporteur on the rights situation in the Palestinian territories, who denied the October 7 massacre, was antisemitic and claimed that Israel deliberately struck and killed seven aid workers from the World Central Kitchen (WCK). (What would be Israel's reasons for doing so - to aggravate anti-Israel and anti-Semitic propaganda even more, that has unleashed world-wide?)

Israel Beefs up Air Defense

The IDF bolstered its air defense array and has called up reservists, as the country prepared for a potential Iranian response to a strike in Syria earlier this week in which several high-ranking Iranian military officials were killed.

Friends don't do this!

The Pentagon revealed that Israel was behind the airstrike in Damascus, Syria, that killed seven people, including a top Iranian commander, even though Israel has not claimed responsibility for the attack. "The US did not conduct a strike in Damascus," said Sabrina Singh, the Pentagon's deputy press secretary. "I would refer you to the Israelis to speak to their strike." Singh added that "we were not notified by the Israelis about their strike or the intended target of their strike in Damascus." Why must Israel inform unreliable friend of its military intentions?)

Erdogan is the Enemy - No Rapprochement

After months of anti-Israel rhetoric from the highest levels of government, Turkey now wants to improve relations with the Jewish state. Erdogan has accused Israel of committing “crimes against humanity in Gaza,” said that “Netanyahu and his government are the Nazis of our time,” and threatened to “send (Netanyahu) to Allah to take care of him, make him miserable and curse him.” The Turkish leader, whose religious beliefs are similar to those of Hamas, has long refused to label the Gazan group as terrorists and gives their leaders safe haven in his country. (This is not the first time president Erdogan is playing this game with Israel. Historically, people of Tukey were good to Jews, but not this Islamist government in Ankara.)

Queers 4 Palestine’ - Useful Idiots

“Queers 4 Palestine” started demonstrating in London and North American cities in support the Hamas and PA terrorists. They should know that Hamas routinely tortures and executes homosexuals. (Hate for Jews blinds even members of targeted groups by Islamists, including Christians!)

The PA Submits Bid for Full UN Membership

The Palestinian Authority submitted a request on Tuesday for the United Nations Security Council to vote this month on accepting the entity as a full member. For the PA to gain full UN member-state status, at least nine of the 15 council members must approve the application, and then two-thirds of the UN General Assembly would have to support it in a vote. (What will be the borders of this state - "From the river to the sea”? Will it include Jordan as well?)

This is the War Zone - No Guarantees

The UAE and several other countries plan to suspend shipping aid through maritime corridor from Cyprus to Gaza until Israel guarantees safety of aid workers. The UAE was financing, and WCK organising, seaborne aid shipments to Gaza after Israel last month eased a 17-year naval blockade of Gaza.

Shifa Hospital Statistics

The IDF summarizes results of the counterterrorism operation at Gaza hospital used as a headquarters for Hamas and Islamic Jihad as the operation ends - 200 terrorists were eliminated and were 500 arrested in 2-week operation. Large quantities of weapons and intelligence documents were found throughout the hospital.

Why is Shutting Al Jazeera also Biden’s Business?

The Biden administration lashed out on Monday after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signalled that he will ban Aljazeera, a Qatari government-controlled propaganda channel, from Israel because of the lies it has told about the October 7 terrorist attack and because some of its journalists participated in the attack.

Gaza Food Prices Plummets

Despite a report claiming imminent famine, Hamas dropped food prices amid a surge in goods brought in via humanitarian aid. Israel rejected the claim that famine is “imminent” in the Gaza. (For several months most international news programs have been repeating the same anti-Israel smear mantra that "Gaza is facing starvation in two weeks".)

Quotes of the Week:

"You’re talking about an accusation that is just a blood libel. The Israeli military and government, in my view, are doing incredible efforts in a time of war to make sure that innocent Palestinians can have the basics of life. I know it is miserable in Gaza. I’m sure it is. But the food is flowing. Health care is flowing the best it can. If you had told the American people after Pearl Harbor, you need to come up with a plan to feed civilian populations and lessen casualties at the expense of military victory, you would have been run out of town.” - the US Senator Lindsey Graham, responding to EU fake accusations of Gaza starvation.

Biden Loses the Plot on Israel

by Matthew Continetti

Six months. That’s how long it took for President Biden to call for an immediate cease-fire between Israel and the Hamas terrorists who killed some 1,200 people, raped women, tortured and murdered children, and took more than 200 captives, including American citizens, into the maze of tunnels, spider holes, and underground bunkers known as the Gaza Metro.

Biden went on to say that “US policy with respect to Gaza will be determined by our assessment of Israel’s immediate action” and on steps to “address civilian harm, humanitarian suffering, and the safety of aid workers.” The move is cynical, opportunistic, and counterproductive. Biden has lost the plot.

For weeks, Biden has let anyone within earshot know that he is frustrated and angry with Israel’s strategy and tactics. He approved of Senator Chuck Schumer’s (D., N.Y.) call for new elections in Israel and the replacement of Netanyahu’s government. His advisers have been trying to prevent Israel’s planned offensive in the city of Rafah, where Hamas’s remaining battalions use the hostages and 1.5 million Palestinians as human shields.

For six months, huge swaths of the press have painted Israel in the worst possible light. Netanyahu could say the sky is blue and a thousand fact-checkers would scrub his claim for signs of misinformation. Pro-Hamas falsehoods, meanwhile, are recycled without second thought. The casualty numbers from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry.

A global movement sympathetic to Hamas is fighting an information war with the objective of isolating Israel diplomatically and undermining its right to exist. We have learned that the United States, our universities, and our social-media platforms are fronts in this campaign. And we have learned that antisemitism has returned with shocking power to demonize, harass, intimidate, and assault Jews throughout the Diaspora.

The political heroes of this moment are the men and women who have retained the ability to make clear distinctions between Israel and Hamas, between freedom, equality, and the rule of law and violence, terror, and fear.
