Absurdity of the 'Board of Peace'

Israel objected to the US announcement of members of a so-called "Board of Peace" executive board appointed to lead post-war Gaza.
Among those on the seven-member "founding executive board" are US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and World Bank President Ajay Banga.
Meanwhile, Egypt and Turkey are said to be reviewing invitations by Mr. Trump to join the group. Egypt's foreign minister said in a press conference that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was invited to join, while the Turkish presidency said President Tayyip Erdogan received a letter from the US president.
"The announcement regarding the composition of the Gaza Executive Board, which is subordinate to the Board of Peace, was not coordinated with Israel and runs contrary to its policy," the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu statement read.
Arrogantly, US President Donald Trump's advisers have rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statements. "This is our show, not his show," referring to Netanyahu. The official added, "We managed to do things in Gaza in recent months nobody thought was possible, and we are going to continue moving." (In that case, the US should assume responsibility for any further attacks from Gaza.)
The Trump administration announced the start of the second phase of the US president's Gaza peace plan, which would include the new Palestinian committee in Gaza, deployment of an international security force, disarmament of Hamas and reconstruction of the war-battered territory.
The first phase called for a ceasefire that came into effect on October 10. Since then, both sides have accused the other of violating the deal.
The fact that Hamas - which is designated as a terrorist organization by Germany, the EU, the US and some Arab states - has so far refused to disarm, a non-negotiable demand from Israel, is completely ignored!
The Israeli government has maintained its opposition to the implementation of the second phase before Hamas fulfils all of its obligations from the first stage, including the return of Gvili’s body. (Pakistan, Turkey, countries hostile to Israel, are also invited to join Trump’s Gaza Board of Peace. The list does not include any Israeli officials.)

Iran: No Action - Just Empty Threats
Iran doctors put death toll in suppressed uprising at over 16,500. Network of physicians say at least 330,000 injured by regime forces. The Iranian uprising appears crushed. (Because no real help came from the US, just empty threats. (At the same time, Israel was pushed a side, and is not able to make a move without approval from President Trump.)
Former hostage Eitan Mor said he was “amazed” by how much intelligence he saw Hamas had on Israel during his time in captivity. “They will not give up. Many of them told me: ‘Until the last Israeli is removed from here, we’ll keep kidnapping.’ Jihad is the highest commandment in their religion. They are obsessed with us; this is their life’s purpose,” Mor said. (There is only one option - complete defeat of Hamas, and removal of all supporting it population from Gaza.)
Israel announces departure from several UN agencies it accuses of bias against the Jewish state. The seven organizations that Israel will remove itself right away from are: the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children in Armed Conflict, the UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UNWOMEN), UN Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the UN Alliance of Civilizations, the UN Energy program, and Global Forum on Migration and Development.
Farewell to Military Dependence
Netanyahu aims to phase out US military aid within 10 years, citing Israel’s growing capacity and the need for greater independence in defense production. The Memorandum of Understanding was negotiated in the final years of Barack Obama’s presidency – is set to expire in 2028. That agreement provides Israel with $3.8 billion annually over a 10-year period that began in 2019. The result was not only deeper dependence on the US but also a growing disincentive to produce arms and munitions domestically. Israel must reduce its dependence on others for arms and munitions, even when those others are its closest allies.
Trump's sudden shift from threats: “We are locked and loaded and ready to go” to celebration over halted executions in Iran has left allies guessing and tensions high. On Tuesday he tweeted “Help is on the way!”, and Wednesday night he suddenly claimed “the killing of protesters has stopped,” and today he was celebrating “good news” over the reported cancellation of the execution of one of the detained demonstrators. (Iranian people need help to remove its tyrannic Islamist regime. Empty promises and action delays cost them lives!)
Israel Saved Syrian Druze from Genocide
After more than 2,000 Druze were killed in a brutal massacre, Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri said that Israel’s airstrikes halted the bloodshed, condemns Syria’s rulers as jihadists and calls for an independent Druze entity in Sweida. "The previous regime also acted against us, but the current one is the most brutal. They do not want to eliminate only the Druze, but any minority that is not like them" said Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri, the spiritual leader of Syria’s Druze community.

Seven-Point Plan to Save the West
Dutch politician Geert Wilders outlined what he calls a Seven-Point Plan to counter the growing threat of Islamization in the West.
1. Label Islam Accurately as a Totalitarian Ideology.
Wilders insists the West must drop the illusion of a benign, reformable religion. He argues Islam is inherently political, seeking dominance through submission rather than coexistence. This foundational step reframes policy debates from religious tolerance to ideological defense.
2. De-Islamize Institutions and Public Life.
Close Islamic schools, which he calls “hate factories.” Halt new mosque construction (viewing them as symbols of conquest rather than worship). Ban foreign funding from nations like Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Prohibit visible Islamic symbols like the burqa or hijab in public settings and outlaw radical organizations.
3. Halt Immigration from Muslim-Majority Countries.
Implement a complete moratorium on migration and asylum from Islamic nations - what Wilders terms stopping the hijra” (migration for conquest). He ties this to demographic concerns, arguing that unchecked inflows lead to parallel societies and eventual majority shifts.
4. Deport Radicals and Enforce Assimilation.
Remove non-citizens (and potential citizens) who support jihad, terrorism, or Sharia supremacy. Strip citizenship from those prioritizing religious law over national constitutions. Require full cultural assimilation: no dual loyalties, no enclaves.
5. Outlaw Sharia in All Forms.
Explicitly ban any application or recognition of Sharia law, ensuring Western legal systems remain supreme. Wilders points to “no-go zones” in European cities as evidence of creeping parallel governance.
6. Reaffirm Judeo-Christian and Enlightenment Heritage.
Proudly celebrate the roots of Western civilization - Athens (democracy), Rome (law), Jerusalem (morality) - as superior to competing worldviews. Reject cultural relativism that equates all traditions equally.
7. Champion Unrestricted Free Speech and Liberty.
Adopt robust protections like the U.S. First Amendment across Europe. Repeal laws criminalizing criticism of Islam. Boycott censorious media and platforms. Encourage open debate to expose and defeat ideological threats.
Wilders wrapped these points in dramatic language, invoking “forces of light” versus “forces of darkness” and biblical imagery of repelling historic invasions. He closed with optimism: the West has defeated such tides before and can do so again through resolve.
