What Trump Supporters Think Now

by Steven Shamrak

I was happy when Donald J. Trump won the presidential election.

It was moment of joy when the President Trump said that he sees Gaza as "the Riviera of the Middle East."

But almost immediately, President Trump began interfering in Israel’s war against terrorist of the Hamas, Hezbollah, and eleven months ago stopped Israel, by launching his ‘B-2 show, from winning war against terror sponsoring Iran, which could end with the change of the Islamist regime in Iran.

A few days ago, President Trump signed useless MoU, the memorandum of understanding, with Iran, declaring a fake ceasefire, which included Israel’s operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel was not a part of this ridiculous agreement.

Couple of days ago I posted an opinion of Iranian Crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, about this MoU. He said:

"It is a betrayal of my people! To do a deal with a regime that murdered more than 40,000 protestors in two days in January is morally wrong and strategically misguided. Dealing with this regime will fail, and we will all face the consequences. With or without international support, the people of Iran will overthrow this regime.”

The following are the comments made by of President Trump supporters.

Linda: "I love and support my President, but I don't understand his reasoning."

Gabriel: "I am so sorry for the turn of events. The people of Iran deserve sympathy and help to deal with the evil that rules their country. The US and Europe should help them in every possible way. If the Iranian people succeed in forming the next government, there will be peace and stability in the Middle East and the world. There will also be continuous flow of oil."

Brett: "Trump surrendered most of his previously stated objectives and red lines. If Trump is concerned Hezbollah attacks from Lebanon would jeopardize his treasured deal then he should have pressured the attacker (Hezbollah) not the defender (Israel)."

Marla: "Trump, betrayed us all. And, Vance might as well be the Ayatollah!! I apologize for their betrayals; it was so very wrong. I can longer support them, because of how they abandoned your people, after promising help, after berating Israel and Ben Netanyahu."

Tom: "I voted Republican and will continue to do so. Trump made a drastic error in chastising Israel."

Benjamin: "Trump made a mistake on this one. I hope Trump is a quick learner. He needs to make an adjustment and stop listening to the wrong people."

I selected only nice and constructive comment, ignoring ‘energetic’ critical ones!

Unfortunately, the longer the Iranian regime stays in power more people die, and the world will remain its hostage!

Food for Thought: by Steven Shamrak

Mr. President, you warned Iran that if any American troops are killed you will end the current ceasefire, and resume full military operations. Since you proclaimed the fake ceasefire and pressured Israel to join it, Hezbollah killed four Israeli soldiers. Therefore, let Israel finish the job - you obviously unwilling to. Negotiations with terrorists do not work!
