Israel is not Allowed to Win a War

by Steven Shamrak

Numerous senior US officials continue to descend on Israel to keep tabs on the ceasefire between Hamas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.

Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio landed in Israel to oversee the ceasefire, with Israeli media dubbing the frequent visits “Bibi-sitting” duty.

Vance railed against the Israeli Knesset’s vote on a bill moving to formally annex the West Bank, saying that “it was a stupid political stunt, and I personally take some insult to it", and warned the Knesset that it could potentially jeopardize the ceasefire. Almost immediately Trump said: “Don't worry about the West Bank. It won’t happen because I gave my word to the Arab countries. Israel would lose all of its support from the United States if that happened.” (Trump blackmails Israel with cutting support and protection in the UNSC. Israel is an independent democracy, but the Jewish state has been continuously harassed and politically blackmailed by the US.)

United States Vice President JD Vance is not concerned with legalistic arguments about America’s use of military force against a Venezuelan drug-smuggling boat:  “I don’t give a sh*t what you call it.” He warned: “Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE! This is a deadly serious mission for us, and it won’t stop with just this strike.”  Meanwhile, the Pentagon has significantly increased its presence in the southern Caribbean. Seven US warships and a nuclear-powered submarine are now in the region, along with more than 4,500 Marines and sailors.

The Vice President clarified, "The West Bank is not going to be annexed by Israel. The policy of the Trump administration is that the West Bank will not be annexed by Israel. That will continue to be our policy." (What has happened to “beautiful riviera”?)

While it remains uncertain whether or not Hamas will relinquish power over the Gaza Strip as stipulated in Trump’s plan, the meetings in Israel represent a “collective effort” to implement the deal. (More like coordinated pressure on Israel to keep the deal artificially alive, knowing that Hamas is not going to disarm and leave Gaza.)

At the same time, President Donald Trump is considering whether to urge Israel to release popular Palestinian political figure Marwan Barghouti (to become the next leader of Palestinian terrorists, like Sinvar before him). Israel views Barghouti as a terrorist leader. He is serving multiple life sentences after being convicted in 2004 in connection with attacks in Israel that killed five people.

Israel is the only country in the world which is capable but has never been allowed decisively win a war against its enemies!
