Jews Under Siege in Jerusalem

by Aaron Klein

The campaign of rock-throwing and other acts of violence and intimidation has been targeting Jews in Eastern sections of Jerusalem - areas the Palestinians claim as a future capital. The Palestinian claim has been bolstered by Obama administration behind-the-scenes support.

Netanyahu lashed out at the international community for failing to condemn PA support of terrorism. “The (car) attack in Jerusalem was supported by the head of the Palestinian Authority, Abu Mazen (Abbas),” Netanyahu said.

“(Abbas) also praises the murderers and is close to the organization that the terrorists belong to -- Hamas. We are encountering weakness from the international community against these actions from the Palestinian Authority president. They are not willing to say two words, or even one word of criticism against him,” the Israeli prime minister said.

Over the past few weeks, Arabs have engaged in a systemic campaign of rock throwing at Jerusalem’s light-rail system, attacking train cars as they pass through Eastern Jerusalem neighborhoods.

‘Ugly Nazi’ Has Done it Again

UN political chief Jeffrey Feltman warned in an emergency meeting of the Security Council on Wednesday that Israel's plans for further settlements in east Jerusalem threaten the viability of the future Palestinian state. Close ally the United States also warned against Israel's plans. The council met at the request of member Jordan on behalf of the Palestinians, who are insisting upon a halt to such settlement efforts. (How many emergency meetings has the UN had to discuss Russian aggression against Ukraine, Chinese intrusion into territorial waters of her neighbors, the Ebola pandemic, the rise of Islamic State? Only Israel is the subject of such ‘special’ attention!)

Israel has the Right to Build in Jerusalem

Prime Minister Netanyahu opened the Knesset's winter session with a wide-ranging speech emphasizing the country's security concerns and Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem.

The prime minister reiterated that terrorism does not come from Jerusalem construction it "comes from the desire of our enemies for us not to be here at all."

The prime minister further stated that "the Palestinians must have a desire for peace as well, and unfortunately I see no such desire."

The Israeli leader subtly criticized the American administration's priorities following their focus on the threat posed by radical Islamist rebels at the expense of the negotiations with Iran. "To defeat the Islamic State and leave Iran as a threshold-state is to win the battle but lose the war."

Rocket Test Performed by Hamas

A rocket from Gaza was fired on Friday night towards the Eshkol region in southern Israel. The rocket was detected by the IDF’s tracking system. The IDF initially claimed that the rocket had fell in Gaza, but it was later discovered that the rocket had flown over the border.

Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak

Almost 5,000 people have been killed by Ebola! On Sept. 16 the UN declared that $988 million is needed to tackle it over the next six months in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea. Only $365 million have been committed by the international community since then. A few weeks ago $5.4 billion was pledged to help rebuild the Gaza Strip. This is the simple truth about international anti-Semitism which is behind the worldwide support, by Muslim and ‘Christian’ ruled countries, for the enemies of Jewish state!

Anti-Israel Restaurant Supported by Wife of John Kerry

A food cart - Conflict Kitchen, a pop-up restaurant located at the intersection of Carnegie Mellon University and Pittsburgh University - hands out anti-Israel propaganda with each of its sandwiches has received funding from a foundation run by Secretary of State John Kerry’s wife. It recently began serving Palestinian food wrapped in leaflets that include quotes from Palestinians defending terrorism and opposing the existence of Israel. (In high level of politics nothing is done by mistake or accidently!)

Another unFriendly Interference!

Israel temporarily closed the Temple Mount (to prevent violence) for Jews and Muslims on Thursday following the assassination attempt on Temple Mount activist Yehuda Glick in Jerusalem the night before, and the US State Department lost no time criticizing Israel for the move.

Unfreeze’ Roller-coaster

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has decided (again) to end the de facto building freeze in Judea and Samaria and intends to approve thousands of new housing units and roads. The move is seen as a bid to strengthen the alliance with the nationalist wing of the coalition, and follows a meeting between Netanyahu and Jewish Home leader Naftali Bennett.

Teen Terrorist was US Citizen

Washington confirmed that the Arab teenager who was shot dead by the IDF after he attempted to throw firebombs was a US citizen. Israeli troops said he had been about to throw a petrol bomb at Israeli motorists near Ramallah. (With Western citizenship it is easier to move around and commit acts of terror! The US State dept asked for an investigation, but they didn’t seem to care about the American baby who was killed by a terrorist a few days earlier.)

State Department: Jewish Homes 'Incompatible with Peace'

The United States Monday blasted Israel for pledging to build 1,000 more Jewish homes in Jerusalem, saying any such move would be "incompatible" with peace efforts.  Washington repeatedly condemns moves to build Jewish homes in Jerusalem, as well as in Judea and Samaria - despite ample evidence that both would solve a fatally deepening housing crisis in an area that's 90% unpopulated.  "We continue to make our position absolutely clear that we view settlement activity as illegitimate and unequivocally oppose unilateral steps that prejudge the future of Jerusalem," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters. (Is constant terror attacks on Jews by PA terrorists compatible with peace? The peace process is a fake! Have the courage to admit it.)

Move to Limit Power of anti-Zionist/Leftist High Court

The Ministerial Committee on Legislation approved a bill submitted by MK Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home) that would enable the Knesset to override a High Court decision to strike down a law it had previously legislated. Justice Minister Tzipi Livni (Labor) filed an appeal against it. This means that the legislation process will be frozen until the entire government discusses the bill and approves it.

Hypocrisy of the Headlines:

“Sweden officially recognises state of Palestine in attempt to help end decades of conflict with Israel” - What a pathetic attempt to use anti-Semitic spin to justify despicable international treatment of Israel!

Israel had Enough with Swedish anti-Semitic Behavior

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman has recalled Israel's ambassador to Sweden Isaac Bachman Thursday, following the Swedish government's decision to officially recognize "Palestine" as a state.

German Muslims Eagerly Joined ISIL in Syria, Iraq

Germany’s domestic intelligence agency severely underestimated the number of radical German Muslims who are fighting for the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. The previous estimate of 450 combatants fighting for the Islamic State should be increased to 1,800. (The West is kidding itself - these terrorists hate the West and joined ISIS because they already were ‘radicalized’!)

Despicable Moral Compass of Our ‘Best Friend’

US spy agencies hired at least 1,000 ex-Nazis during the Cold War. It was excerpted in The New York Times and alleged that the CIA and other American agencies employed large numbers of Nazis as spies and informants and through the 1990s protected from deportation and prosecution some who were living in the United States. (Many more Nazis found safe heaven in America. If ‘the beckon’ of the world democracy has done it, there is no surprise that South America and Australia did the same!)

Israel to Help Drought-struck California

Drawing on its vast experience with arid lands, Israel will help California fight back against the worst drought in its recorded history. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and California Governor Jerry Brown signed a strategic cooperation agreement as part of which Israel, a world leader in the field of water usage. (Fortunately, Obama administration is not America!)

Why is Population Transfer Legal for Egypt?

Hundreds of Egyptians living along the border with the Gaza Strip evacuated their homes on Wednesday, after the army ordered them out to make way for a planned buffer zone meant to stop militants and smugglers. Officials said residents of the border town of Rafah have already handed over 62 homes to the army, a first step for a target of 880 houses where some 10,000 people live. (There is no usual international condemnation - the anti-Semitic ‘outcry’ only reserved for Israel. Egypt is determinately fighting Islamic terror. Israel must do the same - removal of the enemy population from Jewish land is the only way to bring peace to Israel - nothing else has worked so far!)

Quote of the Week:

“There are many who believe that just having some territorial concessions will conclude it. But I don’t think this is right… The conflict is about the existence of the Jewish state and not about the creation of the Palestinian one. Any territory that was delivered to them after Oslo became a safe haven for terrorists… If we withdraw now from Judea and Samaria, we might face another Hamastan.” - Moshe Ya’alon, Israel’s Defense Minister.

Christians are Enemy No. 1 of Islam

(The Western anti-Semites are blinded by their hate toward Jews and in spite of so many indications and direct warnings refuse to face the truth that they are, not Jews, the main target of annihilation! Killing “infidels” or converting them to Islam has been the main objective of Al Qaida and of ISIL now - Christians first. ISIL did not invent this doctrine - it is in Quran! The policy of religious persecution is widely practiced in all Muslim countries.)

The cover photo shows a black ISIS flag flying over the Vatican. A booklet describes the terrorist army’s desires to conquer Rome and “break the cross,”

According to some Islamic traditions, the Islamic prophet Muhammad predicted that the occupation of Istanbul, Jerusalem and Rome would pave the way for the Islamic messiah or mahdi...

The declaration surfaces amid growing concern over the widespread persecution of Christians in the Middle East. ISIS has executed hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Christians throughout Iraq and forced many to flee the country...

“Across the Middle East, in the last 10 years, 100,000 Christians have been murdered each year. That means every five minutes a Christian is killed because of his faith,” said Father Gabriel Nadaf...

An estimated 12 million Christians lived in the Middle East. But that number has been thought to have decreased drastically since the ISIS summer takeover of nearly half of Iraq, including the city of Mosul, which had been home to Christians for 2,000 years…

In Egypt, Coptic Christians have been targeted by violence from the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafi groups. There have been reports of church burnings and killings of Christians.

In Syria, al-Qaida-linked rebels have threatened to kill Christians who do not join the fight against President Bashar Al-Assad.

Iran has persecuted Christians relentlessly as well - recently making headlines for burning the lips of a Christian man caught eating during the Ramadan fast.
