Friendly Pressure Worse than Enemy Attacks

by Eric Cortellessa

It has been almost 40 years since former president Jimmy Carter initiated the negotiations that led to Israel’s peace treaty with Egypt. To commemorate that historic accomplishment, the Center for Israel Education is incrementally releasing sensitive memoranda from the Carter administration archives detailing those negotiations.

Most recently, the educational non-profit unveiled a March 1978 meeting in Washington, DC, between the Carter and prime minister Menachem Begin’s delegations, at a time when the US warned there was a risk of losing the momentum gained after Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat unexpectedly visited Jerusalem to address the Knesset.

The conversation showed an American president intent on securing a broader peace agreement between Israel and the Arab world, one that would see Israel relinquish not just the Sinai, but most of the West Bank, Gaza and Golan Heights, as well.

The foreign minister at the time, Moshe Dayan, strenuously objected to that plan. He argued that the West Bank falling under Arab control would endanger Israel — he instead proposed that Israel not impose sovereignty over the territory, but not extract its military from there either.

“Israeli forces will stay there to defend Israel, but not to rule the Palestinians,” he said. “This is equivalent to withdrawal, not in a territorial sense, but in substance.” (Government of Israel was not so strong in negotiation of giving up Sinai to Egypt and getting nothing in return! It was a missed opportunity to remove all enemy population from Jewish land to Sinai!)

FOOD for THOUGHT. by Steven Shamrak

If it is Ok to expropriate land of South African white farmers (there is no international outrage and the UN resolutions of condemnation), Israel must do the same and take back Jewish land occupied by Arabs and other enemies of the Jewish state!

Jewish Israelis have Realised the Need to Expel Enemies

Nearly half of Jewish Israelis agree that Arabs should be expelled or transferred from Israel, and a solid majority (79 percent) maintain that Jews in Israel should be given preferential treatment. Three-quarters of Israeli Jews feel deeply connected to American Jews, but over half feel US policy is not supportive enough of Israel. Meanwhile, support for the two-state solution among Jewish Israelis hasn’t changed considerably in past years (though they are less optimistic than Jews in America), but among Arab Israelis, it has plummeted. (Arabs know better the true nature and what to expect from their rulers!)

US Plans to Reduce Number of Fake Refugees

In effort to remove Palestinian refugees issue off the negotiating table, Jared Kushner reportedly plans to eliminate the UN relief agency (UNRWA) and resettle Palestinian refugees in neighbouring countries. Jared Kushner, senior advisor and son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, has reportedly been looking into the possibility of stripping the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip of their refugee status.

Delusional Belief - Druzes are Friends of Israel

Prime Minister Netanyahu walked out of a meeting with Druze leaders regarding the Nationality Law when protest leader Brigadier General Amal Assad interrupted Druze spiritual leader Sheikh Mu'afak Tarif and called Israel "an apartheid state." (Fake accusations and bulling are the tools of our enemies!)

Some Political Stupid are still Talking!

Former Minister Yossi Beilin supported the position of Labor Party leader Avi Gabbay that there is no need to evacuate the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria if Israel reaches a political settlement with the Palestinian Authority to create a Palestinian Arab state. (There must be no other state on the Jewish land but the Jewish one!)

US Must not Fund UN organizations Accepting PA

Enforce the US laws, banning US government funding to international organizations which admit the 'State of Palestine' as a member! "In 1994, Congress passed a law that says any UN-affiliated agency that accepts the PLO as a member is not eligible for US funding. This law - unlike many such laws - is non-waivable, is not optional, it is completely mandatory. "In the last years of the Obama Administration, the Palestinians went ahead and they did join such a UN organization..." (What is the point for a law if it is not enforced?)

An Arab Leader’s Epiphany Moment

Former Kuwaiti Minister of Information Sami Al-Nesf warned that it is (Arab) extremists, and not moderates, who have harmed the cause of people in the PA. “Jewish settlers are not going anywhere,” he said. “Not many people know that in 1938, the royal British Peel Commission concluded that there should be two states – a solution the loss of which people are mourning today,” Al-Nesf said. “The Jews said, ‘Any state is better than no state at all... while the Arabs refused". “The loud and empty slogans by Mufti Amin Al-Husseini thwarted the two-state plan. Al-Husseini fled to Hitler, betting on the wrong horse,” Al-Nesf commented.

Idiotic Threat to Israel from NIF

The Director of the New Israel Fund's Israel operations, Mickey Gitzin, recently exposed the NIF's tactics in battling the Nationality Law, which was recently passed by the Knesset. He pointed to feminist and LGBTQ organizations as the major forces deployed by the NIF against the bill. (Self-hating Jews do not care about the future of the Jewish state, helping enemies to destroy Israel!)

Catholic Church is Always Anti-Jewish

The Patriarchate, which represents the Roman Catholic Church in the Holy Land, called on all Christians in Israel to protest the law that reserves the right to national self-determination exclusively for Israel’s Jewish citizens. The church said the law violates both Israeli and international law. In contrast, Shabi Haloul, head of the small ancient Christian Maronite community of Israel, welcomed the Jewish nation law. Haloul explained that the nation law would protect Israel from the erosion of the Jewish majority and democratic system, like the process overtaking Lebanon where the Christians were once the majority. Israel has around 160,000 Christians, most of them Maronite Catholics. (How many non-Catholics are citizens of Vatican? Only Jews are not allowed to have their Jewish state!)

Fake Tourist with Fake Visas

Israel denied entry to 90 Turkish tourists on Sunday, with authorities saying the group visa they presented at Ben Gurion Airport was false. Turkish officials who said they were told by Israeli authorities that the tourists were denied entry for “security reasons.” The Foreign Ministry said in a statement: “According to the Immigration Authority an Israeli (travel) agent forged the group visa... To bypass the Turkish airline’s ban on passengers without permits, he falsified the group visa.”

Stupidity and Indifference Must End!

The terrorists imprisoned in Israeli jails waste hundreds of thousands of cubic meters a year worth millions of dollars, and although the Israel Prisons Service has been aware for years of this crime, the disturbing waste has not stopped. (Enemies do not have respect for Israel but Israeli officials must!)

Arsonist Terror is Shamefully Rewarded!

Hamas has burned to a cinder more than 35,000 dunams of flourishing Israeli land – half the area of Tel Aviv, the whole of Beersheba – since launching its “March of Return” on March 31. But if the Palestinian terrorist rulers of Gaza walk off with the $650m aid package the UN, Egypt and Qatar are offering for a long-range truce accord with Israel – applauded by Washington – they will be awarded the biggest prize ever awarded to a serial arsonist...

The final straw for the IDF – and the most humiliating – was its failure (most likely, its unwillingness) to stop the most primitive of terror tools, balloons. It achieved what four months and 500 Hamas rockets and mortar shells failed  to do.
