Ignored Part of UN Human Rights Report

The UN Human Rights Council issued a report on March 6 on human rights violations during "the escalation between Israel, the de facto authorities in Gaza and Palestinian armed groups in Gaza" during November 14-21, 2012. After criticizing Israel (As usual anti-Israel bigots preserved their anti-Israel ‘balanced’ approach. No such consideration when they ostracized Israel!), the report said:

"Palestinian armed groups continuously violated international humanitarian law, by launching indiscriminate attacks on Israel and by attacking civilians, thereby disregarding the principle of distinction. The armed groups failed to take all feasible precautions in attacks, in particular by launching rockets from populated areas, which put the population at grave risk."

"Furthermore, several Palestinians were killed by rockets launched by the armed groups that fell short and landed in the Gaza Strip (including Omar Mishrawi, the son of a BBC reporter). In addition, seven alleged collaborators held in DFA detention facilities were summarily executed, constituting a violation of their right to life and of international humanitarian law." (This UN Human Rights report international press has deliberately ignored.)

Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak

All spy agencies, governmental or private, are using foreign passports to protect their agents and to facilitate access to required information. Only Mossad is subjected to intensive international scrutiny and diplomatic pressure in this matter, even by a friend like Australia. Most international bigots, in order to gain ‘respect’ from Muslim countries ‘bark’ at Israel. This is another example of international anti-Semitic behaviour!

Netanyahu is a Spineless Wimp

Yisrael Beytenu chairman MK Avigdor Lieberman blasted Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, over Netanyahu’s apology to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Earlier, Netanyahu spoke on the phone with his Turkish counterpart and apologized for the deaths of nine Turks in a 2010 raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla. (People who have no self-respect must not be leaders of the nation!) The Turkish-Israeli reconciliation effected by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s apology was urged strongly by US President Barack Obama, because Ankara urgently needed to revive the military cooperation with Israel, due to the situation in Syria. (Obama did not force Turkey to apologize for facilitating the anti-Israel, terrorist-sponsored flotilla!)

Perpetual Humiliation for Nothing

Almost immediately after Netanyahu “expressed Israel's regret” for the incident Erdogan said that Netanyahu had apologized for the Turkish loss of life. Nevertheless, Erdogan wrote, Turkey wanted more than words from Israel. Among those actions, he wrote, was a payment of compensation to the families of those killed. “The money will not bring them back, but will prove to Israel that Turkey does not forget and will not abandon the rights of its 'shaheedeem' (the Arabic word for Muslim martyrs).” In addition, he said, Israel must remove the naval and land blockades of Gaza if it wanted normal ties with Turkey. “I stress that we expect Israel to fulfill its promises regarding the blockades,” he wrote, adding that he planned to visit Gaza in a month or so. (It looks like Obama’s reconciliation between Israel and Turkey is just another soap bubble! Turkey never was and never will be friend of Israel. And Turkey is a ‘spoiler’ NATO member, which refused to co-operate and participate in “War on Terror”. Luckily, EU has not made Turkey a member.)

Another Gutless Delay

President Barack Obama persuaded Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in their talks in Jerusalem last week to give Tehran three more months to work through nuclear diplomacy with the P5+1 group of world powers. This grace period expires after Iran’s June 24 presidential election. (Obama’s “red lines” are around neck of Israel, not Iran.)

US has no Real Friends in the Muslim World!

During his visit to Baghdad US Secretary of State John Kerry was unable to persuade Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki cut short the Iranian airlift and land route to Bashar Assad of weapons, fighters and cash.

Al Qaeda at Syrian-Israeli-Jordanian Border Junction

The Al Musanna Brigade of al Qaeda’s Syrian arm, Jabhat al-Nusra, captured the highly strategic intersection of the Syrian, Israeli and Jordan borders, just east of the Golan, on Passover Eve. The jihadists have also seized Wadi ar-Raqqad which marks the Golan’s eastern boundary and is one of Israel’s water sources. This put the jihadists directly opposite 14 Israeli southern Golan villages and at a distance of 5-6 kilometers from one of Israel’s earliest kibbutzim, Ein Gev, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Financing the Enemy is the Highest Level of Stupidity!

Netanyahu releases money transfers to Palestinian Authority. Five months ago, Israel suspended the transfer of allocations from customs duty after Mahmoud Abbas’s unilateral application for UN membership as an observer state. Following the visit to Israel of US President Barack Obama, the transfers were renewed. (The move will not bring peace. It will release more funds for terrorists and has shown again how weak Netanyahu is under the pressure!)

Mixed Hamas-Al Qaeda terror team caught in Sinai

Egyptian security forces caught 25 heavily armed men, members of al Qaeda and the PA Hamas, in Sinai. It is the first time Hamas and al Qaeda have been caught red-handed collaborating in Sinai for terrorist activities against Egypt.

Apology is Humiliation of Israel

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan told members of his party that he rejected an earlier version of Israel’s apology. One of Erdogan’s top advisors described Netanyahu’s apology as a great success for Turkey, but said there remain several obstacles to a normalization of relations between the two countries - in particular, the “bleak chances of the establishment of a Palestinian state in the 67 borders, with east Jerusalem as its capital.” (Muslim countries are not interested in peace with the Jewish state, but in inflicting public and diplomatic humiliation to Israel.)

IDF Built Field Hospital for Syrians

The IDF has built a military field hospital in the Golan Heights. At least 11 Syrian fighters have been treated in Israel over the past month.

$1 Billion Fund to Keep Jerusalem Occupied by Arabs

The Arab League approved a Qatari proposal to set up a $1 billion fund for Arab East Jerusalem, which so-called Palestinians want as the capital of an independent state. The draft resolution said "The summit... calls for setting up a fund to support (all) Jerusalem to the value of $1 billion to finance projects and programs that would maintain the Arab and Islamic (but not Jewish) character of the city and reinforce the steadfastness of its people". (The leftist Israeli paper, Haaretz, made a traitorous and self-delusional amendment to the draft, adding “Arab East” Jerusalem)

Apology was a Stupid, Self-Denigrating Mistake

Ever since Netanyahu was made the apology to Turkey, "it appears that Erdogan is doing everything in order to make Israel regret it, while conducting a harsh and personal campaign at the expense of Israeli-Turkish relations," wrote Bayit Yehudi chairman, Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett. Now Turkey is demanding that Israel pay $1 million in compensation per family of each terror activist killed during clashes with IDF soldiers in May 2010 on the illegal Mavi Marmara flotilla to Gaza. (Self-respecting countries do not negotiate with terrorists, including countries supporting terror, and definitely thy do not pay compensation to terrorists families!)

Even Arabs Agree that Hezbollah a Terrorist Organization

Parliament in Manama, Bahrain, unanimously approved an urgent proposal, branding the Lebanese Hezbollah a terrorist organization. The US, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands and even UK already consider Hezbollah a terrorist group, but not the European Union - the nest of traditional anti-Semites.

Quote(s) of the Week:

"Put yourself in their shoes, look at the world through their eyes. It is not fair that a Palestinian child cannot grow up in a state of their own, and lives with the presence of a foreign army that controls the movement of her parents every single day.” - The US President Obama, speaking to Israeli students - What pathetic BULL! Has he or other international bigots made the same plea to Arabs and asked them to sympathize with Jewish children of Sderot, Ashkelon and Ashdod who are growing up under the rain of rock attacks and suffering PTSD, just because parents of Arab children, who Obama care so much about, have been occupying Jewish land and reject any possibility of peace with Israel, and are determined to destroy the Jewish state? The most disgusting part of Obama’s speech was that Jewish students applauded his anti-Israel rhetoric!

Real Occupations Bigots do not Care About!

Occupation of the Western Sahara: The conflict is the continuation of the past insurgency by Polisario against the Spanish colonial forces in 1973-1975 and, after Spanish withdrew, the Polisario Front waged a 16 year-long war for independence against invasion by Mauritania and Morocco. Following the annexation of Western Sahara by Morocco and Mauritania in 1976, and the Polisario Front's declaration of independence, the UN addressed the conflict via a resolution reaffirming the right to self-determination of the Sahrawi people. (Nothing is done since!)

Occupation of Tibet: International legal scholars agree that from 1911, until the Chinese invasion in 1949, Tibet was a fully independent state by modern standards. China’s actions in Tibet over the past 50 years have created a climate of fear that still continues today - torture and imprisonment for peaceful protest, and economic plans that discriminate against Tibetans, threatening their unique identity. (Have you seen any international bigot, including a President of the United States, visiting Lhasa, capital of Tibet, after they met Chinese leadership? But, they are all eagerly running to make pilgrimage to Ramallah!)
